1 starIf I could leave zero stars I would. We purchased a unit from them, was told a small wavy spot in the cargo was where someone spilled a drink. Fast forward, we try to trade the unit and find out the whole back wall of the 2022 model unit is rotted out bc they sealed the damage on the roof up. They wouldnt allow us to look on the roof when we took it home and made the mistake of being ok with that. Do NOT buy from here! Not to mention their fees are rediculous!Review fromKelsey B

1 starIf I could give zero stars, I would! My husband and I bought our first camper from camping world in ********, and what should have been a great purchase has turned into an absolute nightmare. Camping world is supposed to do a walk through of your camper with you (inside and out), to make sure you know how to use everything, and also to ensure everything theyre selling you is working properly. Well, this camping world only did a walk through on the outside of the camper, and not a thorough one I might add. Once we had our camper to our permanent campsite which is an annual RV park, we quickly found out the gas was not working. We called the camping world in ******** and the person on the phone told my husband to bang on the propane tank 15 times. Who trains these people is what I want to know? We ended up having to call a weekend RV service, and then found out the gas lines were completely bad and were sold to us that way. So we had to pay $150 out of pocket for this. Next, we figured out the camper was sold to us without an RV sewage hose to pump out the holding tank after our shower, and toilet started to back up! So another $36 later we had an RV sewage hose pump that we had to buy. Lastly we have found wasp nests underneath the camper (Im starting to wonder if this camper was even looked at before being sold to us). I have reached out to camping world in ******** about these issues, and each time I am told the person I want to speak with (*******************) is out of office. I was just told by **** yesterday I would receive a phone call today from their general manager. Shockingly, I have not received a phone call.Review fromNick H

1 starIm not happy.I have had my RV serviced at the *********** location only since buying it. When I made a complaint in the past the service manager was most rude. And corporate never followed up on my complaint just pushed me back to the location mgmt.I'm a disabled veteran and have difficulty doing my own maintenance and inspecting work done if I have to remove panels.Several months ago I had an electric transfer box that the generator/store power etc had a burnout of one of the lines.I had to stay in a hotel for several days while a new box was ordered and installed.Last week, as I looked for a water leak I removed the panels in the storage area under my 5th wheel. The electrical system has another short, so the underlying problem was never addressed. Addionally the new box was never installed properly and the safety cover of the current/old box left in the bilge of the rv. For the last several months the box has been exposed. The service center was paid when I purchased the rv to install a washer/dryer. It leaked almost immediately. I took it into the shop several times. The service manager insisted it was fixed and no longer leaking and replaced the wood that was damaged but later I found it to be superficial. I noticed my subfloor warping and water damage along the bed and the previous wood that was replaced showed water damage again. I found it was the drain pipe leaking and the trap was plumbed higher than vacuum break and with a very short standpipe, bad installation. It leaked under the support 2x4s, under the closet door track. Under the bed and under the linoleum and to the rv storage pass through. When given this information I was told they found no leaks and despite several other visits when I complained they did not inspect the leak or even record the request. So now say I never asked bc it's not in the system. We'll guess what, I have the texts from the service desk stating they did!2022 East to ********** 325RLReview fromDaniel B

1 starFirst off, if I could leave zero stars, I would. After reading reviews from the past several months, its no surprise that my Parents had such a bad experience. They seen a travel trailer on Camping Worlds website, we went to see it, they signed paperwork ($18k sale price) and left a deposit ($3k) only to have the manager ******* call the day before pick up stating the trailer was going to need $4200 in repairs and that they were not going to honor the agreed on terms of the sale and perform any needed repairs to ensure the trailer was safe for travel. As a mechanic, I see this type of behavior from a lot of shady businesses (especially dealers for used vehicles and now RV/Trailers). When my parents told me that Camping World said it needed 4 tires, wheel bearings regreased, and a brake backing plate assembly, I was stumped where the majority of that repair bill was coming from as parts should not have costed more that 1/5 of the proposed repair bill ( I have done repairs on RVs/travel trailers and know for a fact that those 3 repairs do not cost that much on a bad day). My only thought is that someone dropped the ball when they listed this trailer and Camping World needed an excuse to weasel out of the deal so they can relist it for a much higher price all while only performing the bare minimum for safety related repairs. My Wife and I were going to purchase our own travel trailer if my parents experience was positive but I guess we dodged a bullet from having to deal with the less than desirable business practices that Camping World employs. If I can give one piece of advice it would be to take your hard earned money to a different RV/travel trailer business.Review fromReuben W

1 starDont buy from camping world they do not treat you good after the sale I bought from them in the winter time told them I was gonna start my camper until spring. Wasnt gonna use it. It was winterized when I bought it. They dewinterize it to show me that it worked and even though it had a tankless water heater, which anytime you use, the winter should have antifreeze put in it before you even takeoff from your campsite. Did they do this? No because thats winterization and they supposedly said that I turned down when they but they never offered it. And of course, spring time when I went to use it My leveling system didnt work My doors didnt open and close right and my water heater had freeze damage. Do you think they even tried responsibility for this? They throw a ton of paperwork in your face to to try to shield them from the liability of them doing a bad job , dont buy for them in my opinionReview fromJonathan D

1 starI purchased a ******* Lantern Series (262BH) camper on 5/17/23. Since then I have only been able to take my grandchildren (3) camping once (1). The camper has been in the shop at Camping World to replace the rear stabilizing ***** leaking water ******************* and the front stabilizing jack. In addition earlier this year they completed body work (hail damage and a park site sign). My grandchildren return to school in August. I have done all I could to accomplish repairs expeditiously, and have been unsuccessful.I am deep in feeling buyers remorse. If I knew then what I know now, there is no way I would have spent all that money to buy, upgrade, stock and store this camper. I have never heard from anyone at ******* or Camping World, except the young lady doing all the necessary warranty paperwork and following up. She has been great keeping me informed.Review fromJames E

3 starsAfter purchasing a 2022 ****** we had nothing but trouble from equipment breakdown to the service department. Thankfully all replacement parts were under warranty and everything replaced ???? but we were responsible for a $245 service charge each time the service Technician came out (x 4). We didnt get the extended warranty so as soon as the one year warranty expired the slide started leaking. Our insurance company did an inspection/evaluation and determined that seal deteriorating was already taking place and so declined our claim. Now Im upside down ?? for a trade and I cant expect my original salesman ????? (****************) to cut me a break. I know hes busy with other customers for the reason I cant catch up with him. This is our second RV purchased from this location but will be very cautious if purchasing another from this location. Meanwhile we will take the unit in for repairs to the slide.Review fromEdward C

1 starCamping World Raleigh is a poor excuse for a business. The communication after the sale is next to impossible and they do nothing to solve issues. I bought an $1800.00 extended warranty from Good *** and it is worthless. Each claim was denied for issues that should be covered (bent bed rail). The service department does nothing to assist the customer and charges $ 180 dollars an hour to do it. If I could leave less than 1 star I would as they are not worth 1Review fromTracy S

1 starWe purchased a brand new 2023 Springdale 1800BH Travel Trailer from Camping World in W Hatfield, **. Purchased the trailer on 08/16/23. I BOUGHT A LEMON!The Service people told us that we would have to come back in a couple of weeks, so they could do a walk-around the trailer and to give us information about the trailer and that would be our opportunity to tell them what needed to be done. We found a few minor scratches, screws that needed to be secure, etc. We returned 09/06/23 to pick up the trailer. On 09/12/23 we noticed water on the floor and the bed. We found a leak around the ***** area on the ceiling above the bed and yellow stains on the ceiling. We brought the trailer back 09/15/23 and they said they would seal the roof where it was leaking. We returned 10/06/23. We went to *************** down the road and noticed 2 dents toward the top of the trailer on the opposite side as the entrance door. By then, I basically told them that they needed to pick up the trailer and fix their damages. They finally picked the trailer up on 10/27/23 and returned it on 01/08/24 with the dents still there. I had the driver take the trailer back to get the dents fixed again. Meanwhile, we finally got the trailer back and finally got to go camping a couple weeks ago and water was coming out of the tankless water heater. We called Camping World, as we still have a warranty until August 2024, to see if we could have them look at it. Without even looking, they are claiming that we should have winterized it and that is why it's leaking and that we will have to come out of pocket around $1,500 to fix it. Going back, before we got the trailer back on 10/27/23, the Service guy called and said to come pick up the unit and not to worry about winterizing because he would handle it due to all of the problems we have had. I am furious at this point. There is a sticker on the door stating "this unit has been winterized".Review fromKevin C

1 starThey are advertising payment examples on their website that are not available. If you do the math, and in my case confirmed with the "inventory specialist" the website calculates the estimate based on almost a 20 year loan. The banks dot offer anything close to that, not would most folks want that. (IMO) The actual payment, AT BEST, was OVER DOUBLE the estimate. I know it is just and advertised estimate but it is at the very least deceptive and borderline bait and switch.
