Worst Service Ever. I would highly not recommend this company. The internet service is slow and freezes all of the time. Your service is cut immediately if your payment isn't there that day and then they charge you an activation fee to restore it. Avoid them at all cost. I would leave them with zero starts if the system allowed it.

I pre ordered in July of 2022. Not a word since then. Called several times and got conflicting answers from various CSR agents as to when if ever we will get the service. The pre order form is nothing more than an interest form but they make it look like its "coming soon". The ******** chat response was OK but I still never got a straight answer, all I really want to know is are we months away from getting the service or years. We live in rural ** and we barely have usable cell service here let alone anything like fiber. Well, I was in another town and saw their trucks so I stopped and talked to 2 very nice men who flat out told me "we have no immediate plans to service *********** **". I sent another chat thru ******** and I got a canned response that stated they are "not privy" to 2023 and beyond. Well that tells me what I need to know, I doubt very much we will ever see it in the future in a town of less than **** people. Thanks for nothing Fidium, all you needed to do was be truthful. I guess I will be stuck with Breezeline.

**************** what are you waiting for? CC is the only service available in my area and it is terrible. Land line is frequently crackling so you can't understand the other party, no cell service in this location. Also internet from them and reset router sometimes twice a day and often that doesn't work, internet out for a half hour at a time. Called again last night and hung up after 20 minutes on hold. Did speak to a very nice service Tec and was told there was a huge error showing, must be my iPhone or iPad was using a lot of data. I don't own either of those devices, just a kindle tablet I use for reading and tv. Repair man was supposed to come last week but never showed. Service rep keeps saying upgrade. Never! **. get going on new service for rural areas!

Internet buffers on video, takes fifteen minutes to watch a two minute weather report. And the audio buffers while the video plays, so I'm stuck turning on closed captions, if I can get the video to play at all. I've had techs out here several times, the internet is still 2 mbps which is not enough to get a decent internet feed, it has to be at least 3. It is this ridiculous outdated DSL internet which has become the equivalent of dial up...anyone remember how dial up went away, this consolidated DSL should go away too, but its all I have available, I will keep looking for alternative. As of now for a high monthly cost I get to read my newspaper and read my e mails, no video. And I did not have bad communications with the employees as others here have indicated, they were polite enough, they have a problem that they are incapable of fixing it appears.. If other service is available, do not get involved with consolidated.

THE WORST!! The only reason we use them as a company is because they are literally the only one in my area. My sister had stayed with us for a week or so and probably 3 weeks after she left we received a letter stating there had been some copywriter things downloaded. The letter said it was the 5th notice when it was the first thing we had gotten. Also we have informed delivery with USPS and can see a scanned image of our expected mail, so we would know if they mailed one and it just got lost on way to house. Also, in the envelope we did receive it had two papers in it for two different dates and with two different things listed as being downloaded yet both papers said it was the 5th notice. Then, we were left without the internet, and a home phone for 9 days. The only phone number that was listed on the letter was the main number for consolidated. When I reached out to them, they gave me two different numbers the copyright department and every time I called them, I was told that the voicemail for both numbers was full and then the call disconnected. We have no cell phone in the household and our only way of contacting anyone regarding these infringements was to wait to see if someone we knew came by and would let us use their phone. When the weeklong suspension was suppose to have been up, our services were still not working. Then we had to wait three more days to finally get them reconnected. And that is just the most recent issue with them. Before that they had been billing us way too much and when we caught it and asked them they did credit the amount we had been over billed to our account which needed up being enough to cover our entire bill for three months. The only reason they did that is because they got called out about it and knew they had been in the wrong.

This company is horrible. **************** takes forever to get a hold of on the phone. My service was out for a week because they could not figure out the issue. Unacceptable Found a more local company that gave me 3 times the speed for less monthly cost. Still cost me 137$ to disconnect because of their ridiculous contracts.

After an accident in 11/2020, we have received communication twice about the telephone pole that was knocked down. It was paid by the insurance company in 2/21. The first time they tried to come after us in 8/21, we provided proof the bill had been paid and they said it was an error on their part. We let it go. We just received a letter from a law firm where they tried to collect the same exact amount (down to the cent) and demanding legal action against **. Even our insurance company thought it was fishy and told the lawyer to cease all contact with us. If they feel this is a legitimate claim, they can submit the claim directly but it would be flagged as potential fraud. Lo and behold, we got a voicemail today from Consolidated Communications where again, it was an error on their part. We still have nothing in writing that the case is closed and quite honestly, we have no faith that that will ever even happen.Do better, Consolidated Communications. None of this is okay and it certainly does not create a culture of trust like I would think you would want for your customers. If anything, it is disgusting that you would keep knowingly harass your consumers for fraudulent claims to the point of hiring an attorney.

Worst company ever! Been stuck with them over 20 years, and it’s only gotten worse. I have orange cords strung through my yard, on the ground, over the trees, across the road. Our internet was cycling on and off and the wires were strung temporarily. We can’t get an answer on when the cords will be buried. We get one Wi-Fi bar most of the time. We can’t use our cell phones most of the time, our tv cycles on and off, and I had to get a landline so a loved one with dementia can call me. I’m about ready to sign up for **** *****s Starlink. It’s like being stuck in the 90s again, only worse, with Consolidated. We’ve paid so much money for virtually nothing.

Terrible service all around. They have shut my service off after I've paid mind you, more than 8 times in 3 years. Last time being 2 days ago. They know my service is "Wall Gardened" and haven't helped me fix it. I wake up with no wifi and when I call I am told my service is suspended. I paid !!! It's so frustrating and embarrassing. Then I'm left waiting for service to restore all day. 24 hrs sometimes!!! I'm switching, I'm done. Also I have 80g and I never understood why my wifi was so terrible. Well customer service told me 2 days ago that my service is "wall Gardened" its basically the wifi is trapped in an area and makes ** have terrible service. Why didn't it get resolved 2 years ago?? I'll never use this company again nor will I recommend to ANYoNE

I wish I didnt have to leave any stars. Ive been dealing with this company to get internet at a newly rented property in a rural area. All over the internet they promote fiber optic speeds of 25mpbs for less money than dsl. I spoke to several different sales reps and several people in the lead team just to be told I couldnt get their services at my specific location because the previous renter owed them money. I provided documentation TWICE and they wanted me to provide an obituary for the woman who passed in march of 2022 mind you this is October. Jumped hoops to not even get service. The representative couldnt even have give me options for service. So basically they wouldnt provide fiber optic to my residence due to legally not being able to turn acp participants off in not only provided my lease information but the obituary of a woman I didnt even know in order for them to stop prior service. They dont care about gaining clients they are only concerned with getting paid by the government and providing worse service. I would not recommend them if they were the last people on earth providing internet services. Now that I read the rest of the reviews I agree with all complaints filed. They make my stomach curl. Negative on customer service skills, negative on gaining good customer satisfaction negative on service. Worse company Ive dealt with. I honestly feel discriminated against because Im low income. They were more worried about turning prior service off then gaining a legit customer.
