      customer servus is realy realy realy bad tryed for 2 day to get someone and when i did i could not understand what they were saying bad english tryed to call back ***** went out and got a dewalt fixed the problem

      My lawn mower quit working. Called ego because it was still under warranty. Ego created a service referral form on the 11th of October. Technician said the part he needed would not be available till February ****, so he recommended Ego send me a new mower. It's now the 1st of November I've had to rent a mower 3 weeks straight at 40 dollars a pop. I've called Ego's customer service every week to get an update on the mower they are to send me. They keep giving me the 10 day runaround. I guess I should have read the BBB rating F before I bought EGO product.

      I will say that the process can be time consuming and sometimes frustrating but if you have your original receipt for purchase and the serial numbers of the defective product and your claim is within the warranty period, then EGO will fully honor their warranty. I had a defective string trimmer that had a short of some kind and when you inserted a good, fully charged battery it would immediately destroy the battery. *** replaced everything under their warranty. I bought all of my products at Lowes so I can not comment on the reviewers who purchased at other sellers, like Amazon.

      Most of the tools are a 9 or 10, but the batteries are a 2 or 3 at best. I had one 5 AH battery go bad after one year, which they covered under warranty. My 7.5 AH battery is going bad and is only three months out of the 3 year warranty, that will cost me around $300 to replace. I would not recommend the *** Power Plus tools because the batteries are not reliable!!

      Sad to say, we bought our son/daughter *********** as house warming gift. Consumer reports had good reviews. Needs replacing of a few parts. May the mower went in for service. Service said they had trouble getting help from corporate. After almost 5 months and numerous phone calls to customer nonservice the mower still not fixed Will not buy or recommend these products again.

      Horrible customer service if you can get any. Bought a PS1000 pole saw in June 2023. Between June and August I cut approximately 20 small branches (dead wood) out of my trees. Of those 20 cuts, the chain came off 8 times. More frequent at the end. I noticed 2 small cracks in the plastic motor housing above and below the sprocket. That is why the chain comes off because the bar wiggles due to the cracks. I called EGO ** and sent pictures of the cracks. I was told it was under warranty because it was new, under warranty and the cracks should not happen. I was told to take the saw to a 3rd party local repair shop where they would either repair the housing or replace the section if the parts were not available. When I dropped it off nobody was in the repair shop except for some guy eating a sandwich and watching videos on his computer who said "put it over there, the guy who works on them will figure it out". 2 weeks later I had to call to see what was happening. They said it "was the customers fault, the bar was bent at an angle, it was not functional and was probably pinched by the customer". All of this wrong, The bar is straight as new, it is functional because the repair shop cut wood with it and at no time did anyone ask me what happened. Based on this 3rd party review EGO rejected my warranty. I called EGO **, explained my story and believe the ** rep believed me. She however had to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor said he rejected the warranty based on the 3rd party review. I was not allowed to speak to the Supv. I wrote to CHEVRON, owners of EGO. AGAIN explaining what happened and asking someone to take ownership of this. That was 8 weeks ago. I found another unsatisfied EGO PS1000 owner who was parting out his saw. I bought the 2 plastic housing sections from him, replaced them and it works great, no chain coming off. The 2 cracks were where 2 screws that join the halves together... a weak point. I am buying another vendor when my EGO products die.

      Wish I could leave zero stars. Have been waiting since August 31 for a replacement since our leaf blower stopped working and its under warranty. But every time I call they tell me we will receive a tracking number by the end of the week and it will be shipped in ***** days. My repeated attempts to resolve this just result in a useless escalation each time. Dont waste your time. Just go buy something new, just be sure its not an Ego.

      I have been waiting over 5 months for my snowblower (SNT2100) to be repaired. Ego customer service has been zero help and just keeps "escalating" my case, which does not accomplish anything. I am concerned I will never get my snowblower back.

      Though the products are great when they work, the trick is when/if they work. I have on record owned an Ego lawn mower for 9 months this year but because of problems with the mower I have only had it in my possession and working for just 3 months. This is with two different mowers as the first they couldn't repair so they replaced it and then the second then died and still to this day I do not have it. I will soon be sending a bill for rentals of lawnmowers as EGO has done nothing to offer any solutions to getting mine repaired or replaced. 4 years ago when I first bought ego products I was impressed and talked to everyone to buy them. Once they started breaking I realized EGO doesn't care about the customer unless it helps their bottom line. There are only 2 people working in warranty so if you expect your warranty repair to be completed in a timely fashion think differently. Out of the last ************************************ repair for 4 months before they repaired it and then the replacement I had for 3 months before it was sent in. DON'T BUY EGO UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO BE WITHOUT YOUR PRODUCT.

      I really thought I would have a problem getting replacement battery for my chainsaw. I had to try a couple of times calling customer service but I did get a callback. They started by running though troubleshooting the issue. Then questions about where stored, temperature and usage. However they said that they would send replacement. And I actually got it in about one week. Very surprised after reading other reviews.
