      I purchased an Ego lawnmower in 2019. I loved in the beginning, but within a year of having it I had to replaced the battery, which ego warranty it. Great, but in the past year I've been having issue with the battery they replaced and when I spoke to customer service de said that there is no warranty for the battery they replaced. Is 2023 and I've been through two batteries. I tried to see if ego would replace the battery and they said no. I then asked them if they could get me a new battery at a discount and they said go to Lowes or *********** I think that is very unfair since this battery are very expensive.

      Lack of customer service. Avoid purchasing their products. 7.5 amp battery that came with my lawnmower was defective. Discussed with customer service twice about replacement. When I questioned the customer service agent about when I would receive my replacement battery, (after already waiting 2 months) she said " I don't know and my manager doesn't know. But somebody will know and let you know". No contact info, no time frame of when or who would get back to me. Just "somebody, somewhere will one day let me know". I felt like I was getting advice from my toddler.

      Bought a Polesaw package with a ***************** that worked great, and even bought the hedge trimmer attachment. After about six months, with maybe 10 hrs on the equipment, the ***************** no longer work. I went through a customer service call, and they tried to troubleshoot, but nothing worked. They are still within their 3-year warranty period, but the person on the phone said she could not order replacements, so she would have to elevate the warranty. Said this could take 3 to 6 months. At this point, I would just give it away, and somebody else can deal with it. To buy a new charger battery is more than the whole package I bought that included the *****************. I wish I could give them zero stars!! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

      PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE SCAM!!! This tool costs $190 and there is a very small 30mm s**** that holds everything together. Trust me you will obviously end up losing it someday as it is very small and can fall easily. The s**** is required to attach the tool with the head using the green k*** So I spent over $2000 buying all sorts of attachments for the multi-head tool, and now I can't use ANYTHING just because I lost a 30mm screw.I literally spent over 5 hours looking for this screw, IT COSTS $83 TO SHIP 1 S**** TO ******!!!! Why so expensive? Because *** purposely uses an 8.5mm s**** instead of a standard M5 or M8 s**** you can easily find a replacement. Nobody uses 8.5mm screws except *** so you will not find this s**** anywhere.$83 for a replacement s**** for a $190 tool, we can safely say that it is a huge scam to squeeze more money out of customers who already paid for overpriced Chinese tools. This s**** should cost no more than $5 shipped in a standard letter envelope.So I went on hunting for a replacement part on the *** Equipment ************************ asking others for help... Not only the company refused to give me the exact measurements of the s**** or where I can buy it, but *** also went ahead and censored my question by turning off the comments so nobody can reply to help me. What the h*** is wrong with this company? I was polite and didn't insult anyone, I was just asking for help. *** refuses to help AND blocks other customers from helping you. Hey ***, here in the West we have this thing called Freedom Of Speech, I know you are not familiar with this concept, but maybe you should read the Wikipedia page about the Streisand Effect. Censoring customers is just going to worsen the bad reviews.

      I purchased a leaf blower from this company within one month it blew up I asked for a replacement. It took over one month to have them respond and replace it the same day they mailed me a lawnmower that I never requested and then caused me all kinds of hardship and headache to keep it in my home and then have ***** come and pick it up and spend my time and wait for them to come and pick it up as if I work for them. Terrible company from top to bottom.

      Weed eater failed first year! Been waiting for over two months for replacement!! Every time I get through to customer service, they tell me the same thing, its in process,but theres no tracking number. They say a supervisor will call back, it has never happened!! The worst customer service I have ever encountered!! Would recommend not buying

      Gave me 3 repair business that were listed to repair my EGO cordless 650 blower that stopped working 8 months after purchase. First one said that I purchased from Amazon, wouldn't repair any bought from Amazon, 2nd said would be 3-4 months to start repairs, 3rd said call back in November as to busy. All 3 were ***** miles one way from our home in *********. I am a disabled Agent Orange ******* Veteran with limited driving ability. They have ignored our emails an phone calls.I had known their BBB rating and reviews would never fought from them. How to report their shady dealing?****************************************** **

      If you purchase a product from this company they will not repair or honor warranty of your product. Do not buy EGO product other companies are making same stuff I would go with different company for these products. my service ticket ********. Still to this day we no longer have weedeater EGO will not honor and repair or replace product after less than one year of use!

      I have been trying to get help from your company regarding my Skil PowerCore40 push mower for three weeks. I have called, sent messages, and left voicemail for *****. She has yet to call. I was on hold on one call for 34 minutes. On two other calls I pressed the option for a call back so I wouldn't lose my position in queue. NO one returned my calls. Your customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced.

      I have an issue with one of EGO's Batteries, below is what I wrote to them after I received no satisfaction from from one of their phone reps. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they would escalate my case and receive a call, no call yet!I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with ***'s battery warranty policy. I purchased a string ************************* package in May 2020 from *********** The battery has recently stopped working properly, after a full charge I place it on the string trimmer and 5 red lights appear on the battery and the trimmer will run for about 5 seconds. I contacted EGO and the rep said the battery is defective and the warranty is 3 years on the battery and I was out of warranty by a month! I looked at the battery and it was manufactured in March of 2019 meaning it was was already 14 months old when I purchased the package. The rep said it did not matter. I am not pleased with EGO at all, I realize warranties are in place for a reason but because the battery was already over a year old I think EGO is not being fair. I have been a loyal EGO customer for several years and I also own an EGO lawn mower and a leaf blower, I will certainly think twice before I purchase another EGO product or recommend (again) an EGO product to a friend. I would appreciate it if I could receive a new battery or a credit to purchase a new battery. Thank you ***'s response:Thank you for reaching out! We understand your frustration, and we hear you.
