Harassment with multiple unsolicited emails daily from Endurance auto warranty. I have unsubscribed, although I've never subscribed to them. I have blocked and muted them, yet I still receive multiple emails daily.Business Response

Please be advised Endurance vehicle service contracts are offered in over 3,000 automobile dealerships as well as direct-to-consumers via the internet, television commercials and direct mail promotions. The consumer received a emailed advertisement for products sold by Endurance.
We are sorry for the frustration that Endurance's email caused Ms. May, and as a result of the consumer's complaint, our company placed the consumer on our internal "Do Not Mail" database to ensure that they do not receive any future direct email advertisements from our company. Please allow up to 10 business days to process this request. The consumer may still receive additional mail pieces sent during the processing time.

My truck has an issue with the engine and we are still under warranty. We had it towed to a dealer they approve of and started the claim. It took 5 days before they would even send out an inspector to approve the claim. It has since been another five days since that happened. We have been without our truck for 2 weeks now. We cant even get our rental until the claim shows approved in their system. I have been trying to get ahold of someone for 3 days and when you call it just keeps you on hold music and never gets you to a real person. I just want to get this claim done and be able to get our rental finally but cant get anyone to actually help.Business Response

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe on October 3, 2023, and later bought a vehicle service contract (Secure Plus Plan) from Endurance Warranty Services on May 30, 2024. At the time the warranty was purchased, the vehicle was in good working condition with no check engine light or mechanical issues. The car had been properly maintained through regular oil changes and inspections performed by the dealership where I purchased it.Around August 1, 2024, my check engine light came on. I contacted Endurance, who instructed me to take the vehicle to a dealership for diagnosis and repair. After more than 30 days, I received notice that Endurance would not cover the cost of the repairs, stating that the issue was a pre-existing condition.This claim is both inaccurate and unfounded. I have service documentation from the dealership proving there were no known issues with the vehicle prior to my warranty purchase. Based on the Secure Plus Plan coverage, the repairs should be eligible, and I believe Endurance is wrongfully denying coverage.Additionally, Endurance advertises its service as hassle-free, but my experience has been the opposite. I feel misled by their marketing and mistreated as a paying customer. On 8/23/24, the consumer’s repair facility submitted
a claim for engine repairs. As part of the claims review process, Endurance
requested documentation to verify that the vehicle’s maintenance requirements
had been met.Upon review of the submitted documentation, it was shown
that engine issues were present prior to the purchase of the contract. As a
result, the claim was denied, as the issue was a pre-existing condition and
therefore excluded from coverage.An Endurance manager has since contacted the consumer and
presented a resolution offer. At this time, the consumer has not yet accepted

This business has been disingenuous and deceptive. When I sent numerous emails to them about my dissatisfaction with the claims process, and the impending denial of my claim no one responded. My car sat for 27 days and no one from endurance warranty reached out to me. I am now out of pocket $6200 after they breached their promises to cover items that fell within acceptable conditions. I have joined 2 class actions

Endurance denied our claim because of a mistake made by one of their employees. They told us our claim would be paid it was just matter of getting the vin corrected. But instead they cancelled our old policy and denied our claim saying it would be considered pre existing. This is totally wrong. Our truck needs a transmission that's gonna cost around $10,000 and we are not able to pay that out of pocket. That's the whole point in purchasing and extended warranty for times such as this. We Just need help getting then to honor their warranty. We have been fighting with them for over a month now on this. We are paying for a warranty that we can't use.Business Response

I bought a 2022 ********* from ******************* October ******, with ****** miles.I purchased a warranty policy from Endurance Warranty Services (Walco is the finance **** on Feb. ******. Miles on the truck were ******. On March ******* I had my pick-up taken to ****** motors mileage was ******, it had collapsed lifters, which are covered in the policy. Endurance denied my claim due to a lack of maintenance, the pick-up has a carfax and documentation of all things done. I sent E-mails to the reconsideration people with no response on May ****** and again on May ******, again no response. So on May 12th or 13th I mailed my reconsideration documents, again no response. I paid out of pocket for my repair $4718.95 plus $141.57 credit card surcharge. I only put 6038 miles on my truck in 5 months, I don't know where the lack of maintenance comes from. I canceled my extended warranty on 5/13/25 and requested a refund per my contract. I called back a week later and was told the refund process would take 4-6 weeks. I called 6/9/25 to see if my refund was processed and was told no request was submitted and this will take 4-6 weeks. I shouldnt have to wait any longer because of any employees incompetence. I feel like endurance warranty is giving me the run around and I have no faith that my second refund request was submitted. I am rejecting this response because:
Per, the manager no itemized statement was sent regarding deductions taken. The amount being refunded is extremely low and I never filed a claim, my contract states a $50 administration fee (per the manager because I live in Texas I was charged other fees (not listed in my contract). When I requested the refund on 5/12/25 I was told I would be sent an itemized statement regarding deductions in the mail because it couldn’t be sent via e-mail. This is ridiculous Endurance is trying to keep majority of my money and I never filed a claim. I am disputing any deductions outside the $50 adminstrative fee as stated in my contract. Deducting fees and not providing the consumer with a itemized statement sounds very fraudulent and makes no sense to me.

I previously had a warrant with another company. I cancelled it because Endurance had better coverage. When I signed up for this warranty, I was told by the *** it was like a new car warranty bumper to bumper. Well, apparently, thats not true. Ive had to have a few things ***aired and Endurance didnt cover it leaving me to come out of pocket. The one thing they did cover, they didnt fully pay for because a cheaper part was found at Auto Zone yet, my car was at the dealership. Now, my car is once again at the dealership and the ***air is not covered. This is not like a new car warranty bumper to bumper as I was told when I signed up which is why I signed up.
