      Empire Today, in short has the worst quality installs, and product than any other supplier! They installed brand new carpet throughout my entire home, and it was not too long afterwards when we were vacuuming we noticed that the carpet had wrinkles in areas. We have no pets, no children, so the carpet should have worn like it did! We absolutely never wear our shoes in the house, and this carpet looks we have had it for years! I called Empire Toady to see if they would take out the wrinkles, and they refused to stand behind their product. I am very disappointed, and angry. Too bad you cannot give -1 star.

      The in-person appointment was on time ********************* gave us options. We spoke about the duration of the project. He promised to request a faster installation duration as my mother is very sick with lung issues and we cannot have dust and work being done for so long. He told us that the request is to get more than 1 team install so this can be completed in 2 working days. He was very courteous and with a lot of experience.

      I had flooring installed by this business in January and it was installed incorrectly and the wrong materials were used and to make matters worse the sub-contractor used the incorrect trimming and damaged my walls in the process. I immediately wrote this up on the paperwork that he asked me to sign and I called the main customer service line and reported this the same day. After waiting about 2 to 3 days and no one followed up, I called and finally got the local office, who sent someone back out to assess the damage. ***** with Empire first came out and made all sorts of promises of installing a new floor and getting may walls fixed. I was told the new floors would be installed February 3rd and that didn't happen. Then I was told the week of February 20th, that also didn't happen. So after being very patient and not hearing anything back from the company, I called again and this time spoke with a manager named *********************** who assured me, I would only be dealing with her moving forward and she would help get the problem resolved. I told ******, I had lost trust in Empire to do the right thing, but after her calm assurance, I decided to be patient again. She said they wanted to replace the floor and make the situation right and that they couldn't fix my walls, but that they would reimburse me for the damage. A few days later she called me back and stated that her boss said, he didn't want to replace my floors, but would refund my ***** Fargo account and send me a separate check for my wall damage. I was told to get an estimate which I presented to her by email. I then followed up again, because I had not heard anything back for a couple of weeks, I was told by ****** that everything had been submitted and she would follow up. I explained that my ***** ******************* was coming up and I didn't want to have to pay on an account that needed to be refunded. Today is April 3, 2023 and I still have not heard back after me sending 2 to 3 additional emails. Unprofessional!!!

      One star is too much. The product is beautiful and installers did a wonderful job but it was the sales rep and their CS that more than failed miserably! Had a credit lock on my credit which I forgot about so financing was initially declined. I was able to resolve the issue same day and let the sales rep know they can run my credit again and that I was approved, all I received was a thumbs up emoji from the sales rep thinking he would take care of everything. Installation day Im told its COD, I tell them it should be financed. We not only spend an hour and a half working to get things straightened out but they had the wrong figures as well since the sales rep gave me all these discounts. I also needed plywood to be put down which was an additional $3+ that I was not expecting, however I understood the necessity of having a sound foundation for the laminate. Next day comes and the installer shows up to put the carpet on the stairs and again ** told I have to pay out right for this. Again I thought it was included with the financing but it seems Empire is very good at twisting things so you are either blamed for not understanding or just outright intend on being deceptive. Hopefully the product I now have in my home will last but one thing is for certain- I WILL NEVER GET FLOORING FROM EMPIRE AGAIN!!! I also find it amusing that with all the complaints, Empire responds with the same cookie cutter response - this is not the experience we wish for our customers . . . If thats true - THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! STOP BEING DECEPTIVE AND MISLEADING!

      Sure wish we read the reviews before ordering from this company. They came with the wrong carpet and also the installers said had to have 2 seams when the salesperson said 1. We did not want a seam in front of fireplace and they said it would be $400 more if we wanted 1 seam we had ordered. We called the sales guy and said to cancel and requested refund of our deposit. He said he would do it right away. He has not even put ii in. They sent out 3 Mexicans that could not even speak English. One of them handed us his carpet business card to contact him. Weird. I surely would not recommend this company to anyone. The salesperson was ***********************.

      I had vinyl floors installed in the entirety of my home with carpeting on the **************** in 7/ 2020 . I recently noticed that the flooring in the kitchen area began to feel "squishy " as if the glue had lost its grip. ( there had been no moisture or water to account for this ).I called customer service & was advised this is not a manufacturing problem , I told them I completely understand that however it was obviously an installation problem & therefore should be considered under their "lifetime warranty ". I was advised that it is not , however they would send someone out AT MY EXPENSE to assess it. My advice to anyone considering using this company, beware!! Be sure you know what your getting & what the warranty covers & get in writing. . I certainly will not waste my hard earned dollars on this company in any of my future flooring needs & you should think twice before you do too

      I was on the phone scheduling an estimate which for some reason took over an hour. No follow up email to confirm but I know the dip s*** entered my info.Call today.. Press option 3 for cust. *******.. "we are closed today."Call back.. Press option 1 for scheduling a new estimate.. immediate answer.... SMH Next I'm told that Empire cannot locate me in "the system" for the estimate I scheduled yesterday AND they don't ******* my zip code. Then I was hung up on. WTF !!! ***** ******* is unbelievably rude and unorganized.Why can't you do your jobs?

      If I could it would be negative **** This has been a very bad experience dealing with Empire. We sat with a rep looking at carpeting, he quoted us $4400.After that he said he will find incentives, bringing it down to $****. with 25% down to make it happen...... We wrote a check for $ 763..... He processed the check in our home, the check was good ?? then this cat says OH I am sorry We need an additional 11% down to make this happen....All the while his manager is listening in on the phone.So we are asked to sign a contract for $4400. But pay $ ****..... Are you confused reading this????? Yes you are!!!!so were we once this was said REALLY!!!! Now I am confused and uuiuup set??.... So because we thinking scam mode !!!!??The Representative canceled out our order...Today is March 28th. We met with Empire on March 21st.I called Empire to check on our refund it was just submitted yesterday the 27th of March...BS BS AND MORE BS.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
