My wife and son hired Empire to remove carpeting in the basement and install laminate flooring. The installers did a good job and the finished product was good. My problem with them is that while we paid for a set number of boxes of laminate, the installers started to leave with the extra materials even though my wife specifically asked them to leave the extra pieces in the event we needed to tear out a wall use the extras. As they were leaving my wife stopped them and saw a full box in the van along with most of a second box. She asked if we already paid for that product and they said yes. When she told them again to unload the extra into the house they acted upset with her but they did unload the extras AFTER tearing off all labeling so that she could identify the specific laminate if more was needed. We did decide later to go ahead and extend the laminate into an adjoining bathroom and she called the salesperson at Empire. He refused to give her the name of the product that we purchased so that we could buy more to complete the bathroom install ourselves. He said that it was 'company policy' not to give that information if we were not using them for the additional bathroom installation. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend them or use them again.

Good florring install. But LOUSY 1/4 round install. Huge gaps. Came back to 'fix' them. Just added more **** to the unprofessional corner gaps. Looks like a begginer tried to learn how to do it. And they got floor leveler all over my Baseboards, doors, and new refridgerater. Was told they would clean it up when they came to fix the bag 1/4 round job. They did not. Either one. Very amateur looking job. Like a diy project. And you better Speak Portuguese because they have very limited English. I Wish I went somewhere else. $15k for a big disappointment.Empire Today, LLC

We ordered flooring from Empire Today and some of the wood planks began to come up. We have called them many times and no one from Empire ever called me or came by to fix the problem. We have had the flooring for a year now and no one will call us back or come by to resolve the problem.Empire Today, LLC

Complete scam. Botched our floors and wouldnt fix without charging us thousands more. Finally agree to the scam just to get the job finished and they came and ripped up our floors left and then upped the price again! They should be shut down for their practices.Empire Today, LLC

About July of 2021, we bought laminate flooring, with lifetime warranty, about November 2022 we noticed a water board effect. We called, they said it was covered and we would receive a call 24 to 48 hours. No call. We called back same story, so we called back. We received a call, they asked what we did to it, we said nothing. Then we were told it wasn't covered, although we had a warranty. Later we received a call saying they had a special, (I thought good way to get them out here). The same salesman came out that sold us the floor the first time. He looked at it, said it was covered, sent an email, but no response. Can you help? ThanksEmpire Today, LLC

Empire installed LVP for me in 2021 - did not perform a moisture assessment prior to install and the flooring warped. Theyve been back twice to reinstall LVP (after multiple reschedules and being forgotten to be put on the schedule twice) only to have them come today and say that the concrete needs sealed and the entirety of the floor replaced - but not covered under warranty because its not a problem with their materials. $8800 down the drain and they want to charge another $8000-10,000 to replace. Paid to install kitchen flooring and didn't install any under stove (as contractually obligated). Made stove unlevel, customer service gave different information than sales rep/contract, and refused to send out different contracted installer since original was rude and did not do correct job (per contract/ conversation with sales rep).Empire Today, LLC

0 stars. Initial estimate was 14k for grandview lush hardwood flooring. Miraculously dropped to 6.5k after a "call" to the manager to make it seem like they did us a favor. Installation day came, and the items on the billout were different than those on the estimate. The plywood for leveling was mistaken, and we were told we'd have to get different plywood to be under the warranty, resulting in a 4k upcharge. 4k for plywood is asinine. To top it off, the panels the installers brought in were not the same as the samples we agreed on. Needless to say we cancelled, at "no penalty" because in the end, they got their credit pull with ***** Fargo. Now I have a lengthy process to remove it off my credit.Empire Today, LLC

This is our second time using Empire today for our flooring needs. The first was 2020 and we had carpeting installed in our basement family room and bedroom/office. Still looks brand new. We recently had the luxury vinyl flooring installed and so far we love it.Empire Today, LLC
