DIGRACEFUL, BAIT & SWITCH HORRIBLE COMPANY responsible for shady business practices and RIPPING OFF THE PUBLIC! DO NOT WORK WITH EMPIRE TODAY, they are CROOKS!1) The Sales person outright lied to me stating I could receive a full refund on my deposit (50%) if we had a change of heart.2) When we happened and I called to cancel our order that was not scheduled to be installed for a month, they informed me that I would LOSE 25% of my deposit as a "Re-Stocking Fee" which was approximately $1,000. AND, essentially, highway robbery, especially because NO flooring or carpet had been cut. We weren't scheduled to begin installation for more than one month. 3) When I called corporate, they informed me the "protective language" was included within the BLIND SERVICE AGREEMENT I signed. When I asked where, they said, on PAGE 19 of 24! 4) In my humble opinion, burying this information which is in direct conflict with what the sales person stated as factual. This deceitful action demonstrates the company's shady business practice and purposeful intent to take advantage of consumers.If I could give the a ZERO rating that's exactly what I would do... I purchased the Incomparable carpet as it is advertised as odor and mildew resistant, thus I reasonably believed it was the safest choice for my family. Unfortunately, three months after the purchase I was induced into based on the information provided, the carpet started producing unhealthy odors. Worst of all, Empire Today is not upholding its warranties or living up to its false and deceptive advertisements and is refusing to assist with the serious health issue the carpets are causing my family.Empire Today, LLC

I had laminate floors installed in 2023. I was asked what color wood trim i preferred. I chose same color wood trim as the floors. Except just a few weeks ago , they started peeling. Yes peeling. As it turns out, the trims are some other material, and they had stickers on it to make it look like wood. I called. And they had a ****** assigned who not only berated me condescendingly, she was very abrasive and had absolutely no idea how to deal with client services. She refused to offer any resolution and actually hung up on me. ******. I had already called the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. But the best way to not be in my position is TO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! ??????????????????????????????????Empire Today, LLC

I had them to install carpet in my home and with than a year the carpet is wrinkling and buckling. Called Empire Today that stated that they can't help me because it was already one year. Per the carpet CRI Commercial (104) and Residential (105) Carpet Installation Standards. It states if the carpet is wrinkling and buckling is due to carpet was NOT power stretched. This is mandatory. All the money we pay for a so called professional company we get awful work. I would not recommend anyone to Empire TodayEmpire Today, LLC

I have been trying to contact Empire since March. No one ever calls back and then they continue to close out every reference number when I call back. I have emailed the accounting manager 6 times. I received a revised contract with lower pricing and they are not honoring that very feed up!Empire Today, LLC

I had Empire to do my flooring and recently had a washing machine water problem. Was told that there was a 5 year warranty at time when I was deciding whether to use this company. I called because they completely sealed over the drainage in my laundry area. I have emailed and tried calling with no response. I didn't notice before until the plumber came and told me all my drain holes had some type of compound covering my drainage that's why the water didn't drain. I was referred to them by a family member but I don't think I will refer them to anyone due to poor customer service.Empire Today, LLC

Do NOT use Empire today for any reason!They take your signature from the receipt you sign for your credit card and put it on a contract and check all the boxes they want so it looks like you checked them. I am complaining to the state attorney general. That is fraudulent. They dont even tell you there is a contract. You cant take someones signature from another transaction and apply it to a contract!!WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
