*********************-sales person I had an excellent experience when Daisy came to our home with ************* samples. This was the greatest way to see just how the flooring would look in each of the rooms. She gave us some great suggestions about the color so it would accent the furniture and brighten up the rooms. The quality carpet & thicker padding is amazing as you walk around from room to room. She answered all of my questions and promptly & thoroughly answered several other questions I had on e-mail. She measured quickly, gave me the discounts listed on the website, & had a contract ready in a short amount of time. Daisy was professional, timely, & courteous-I highly recommend her as your sales ********************************* installers They promptly called me at 8:15 in the morning to let me know they were on the way. *************** thoroughly explained the job, showed me all the materials they would be using, asked me if I wanted the carpet or bathroom tile completed first, and answered lots of questions in a courteous, professional manner. ******** set up my xfinity cable box in the window of the living room so that I could watch movies during the day in my back bedroom-that was a life saver! They carefully moved the heavier furniture as if it were their own. They quickly tore out the old carpet/padding & began installing my new tile, carpet/padding. What a team-very systematic, hardworking & calm! The tile was completed with perfection & looks fantastic with the shower, which has a similar look. The carpet is beautiful & looks seamless as you walk around. The wall base is all new, you cannot see any nails, and *************** finished them beautifully! Clean-up was spectacular along with moving all the furniture right back where it used to be.They worked late so they could finish the job in one ******** was 102 degrees.I highly recommend *************** to be your installers. This is the first time in my life that I have ever given a $100 tip-the best!Empire Today, LLC

Horrible install. We have used Empire in the past on ************ without issue until now. The install crew damaged every single corner in my basement and not just at the bottom but at least a foot or more up the wall. I have someone elses blood on my wall (though small) that they didnt bother to wipe, they didnt lay padding In the closets just carpet so there is a hump, and there is an area that isnt tacked down. I have emailed and called the installation manager with no response and requested a manager call me from customer support with no call as of yet. Very poor way to treat what was a loyal and repeat customer.Empire Today, LLC

Approximately 8 months ago, we had flooring installed and in the office. A few days after installation, a dozen or so boards began to warp. Instead of having someone come out to look at the problem, we were told to take pictures and email them in. We were told it was our fault. We got sick of arguing and gave up. Oddly, out of the blue, approximately 2 weeks ago, we were called and told they were sending someone to look at it. The guy said it looked like perhaps a bad box of flooring and it would be fixed. Got another call from the lady that handles complaints (recognized her voice) and she negated everything the guy said. We chose Empire because we were impressed with the work they did for ** back in **, but apparently now, too cheap to rip up a handful of boards and do perhaps an hour our so of labor. Probably cost more to have the guy drive out to look and our argument over the phone than to do the right thing. Looked up complaints and saw this was not a unique issue.Empire Today, LLC

The absolute worse place I have ever dealt with. I have been stood up twice. Took off work, canceled the place who was supposed to deliver our furniture and empire never showed up. They already ran my credit and paid for carpet. I was stood up July 20, and August 3, and now they said coming on August 27. This is unacceptable. I have had to pay the furniture people cancel fees, my kids are sleeping on the floor, they called me on those days and said they were on the way. I reached out to corporate, no one there will call me back. I have reached out to my attorney.Empire Today, LLC

I live in *******, **. I purchased carpet from this company that was to be installed on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Prior to the installation, I was informed that I only needed to remove my personal items and the installers would move the furniture. I spent all day Friday preparing the areas. Saturday morning, two installers arrived. 1) Installers did not communicate with me at all. They came into the house and spent one hour measuring and remeasuring the space.2) They then went to their van, called somebody, came back into the house and informed me that they were cancelling the install, and that "someone" will be calling **** then called my sales rep, who was extremely professional by the way, but she was unable to assist. I then called the customer service department and cancelled this $5,000.00 order.My issues:1) I was unable to communicate with the installers as it appeared that that was a language barrier, and I was not able to clearly get an answer to any of my questions. Please note that the installers were sub contractors and not Empire Today employees, however, I hold the company responsible for the behavior of the subs.2) The installers left the work site with no feedback whatsoever.3) I never received a call from the company. I initiated contact with them to cancel the order. I was very clear with the **************** reps as to my thoughts.Bottom line: ************ has lost me as a customer life. I do not require them to contact me about this, as there is nothing that would ever change my opinion. As a professional contracting officer with Federal, State and local contracting experience, this was not a good experience and I consider the behavior of this company to be extremely unprofessional.Empire Today, LLC

Worst customer service ever, after installation was completed by the contractors (they did a good job) . Per installers advise, he highly recommended me to request two extra boxes of laminate just in case. I did contact the sales man ( ****************) via text and phone calls and he stated the following: Since we dont sell flooring, we sell new floors, what you want is problematic. Our inventory system accounts for every piece with installation materials and labor so selling just the laminate requires some sort of work around on the computer. Our Market Mgr is talking to Inventory Control today to see if there is such a work around. He asked me to call him tomorrow and h*** have an answer. Ill call you and let you know. Sorry you feel that way. My hands are tied. If you want to call the Market Manager call and follow the prompts to *****************************. give me a call. We figured out how to do this work around on the computer program to get you two more boxes of laminate. But I need to speak with you first. Thanks Court ******, Empire Today all these conversations from 07/6/22 -07/14/22 since then Ive texted him with no response. Ive sent 2 emails to Empire in regards the situation and at this time I havent received notice from Empire .Empire Today, LLC

Worst experience ever, after shotty install, 4 different transitions and a different floor being installed in closet I dealt with customer service for 2 months and was promised new floors. Now the rep is on medical leave and there is no record of that and I am being ghosted by everyone after getting the run around for 2 months.Empire Today, LLC

The sixth time I used Empire for flooring installation is the last!18 months after carpet installation experienced severe buckling in the carpet. Empire tells me that this falls under normal wear and tear & maintenance and wants to charge me $160 for re-stretching. Over 30 years of home ownership Ive never had to have carpet re-stretched and certainly not in 18 months. Empire has lost a customer who owns numerous rental properties.Empire Today, LLC
