      I am giving this company one star for a few reasons. The floors were laid within a few days. But the quality of the luxury vinyl is unacceptable. Especially the trim that was placed against the walls. The floors are coming up already, in between planks, and the trim looks absolutely ragged. Again as I mentioned before the quality is visible to the eye, I feel we received the rejected pieces. It is impossible to get a hold of anybody at Empire to speak about our issue. We are only able to leave a message. A representative of empire, from Cape coral, came to see the job. He detected moisture underneath the flooring. We explained to him that they had not put down a moisture barrier between our floor and the luxury vinyl. He took lots of photos to show the shabby job done on the trim. And the nails that are coming out of the walls, which periodically cut my fingers when I clean them. When the representative was here he explained that it would take two weeks to get a reply from corporate. It has since been more than 2 weeks. I have tried to contact the representative twice at no avail. Once again I am left in the dark with no one to talk to. I contacted the salesman that confirmed this business transaction, requesting he mediate and be a voice for us. But he has since left Empire, and says that they are no longer his favorite people. I have paid good money for these floors and expect to be satisfied with the product. And if not to have someone to turn to, to speak to and to resolve. Since there is no such person I was forced to write this complaint on this site. I am hoping that someone who reads this will contact me and make it right.

      Empire Carpets: 2 years ago I purchased carpets for all rooms in my condo and was very happy with the outcome. I have called on them again to do my kitchen and 2 bathroom floors. The only thing so far is a rescheduling of the installation since they could not install on the same day. The contractor, ***************************** was very knowledgeable and friendly. An employee of 20+ years, he made the transaction experience very pleasant. I recommend Empire to all family and friends.

      Stay FAR away from Empire Carpets. Their sales people are bullies, and their corporate sales team are liars. Once you decline to purchase with them, they will hound you with calls, emails, and text messages, even if you try to unsubscribe/opt-out/go on do not call a list. Their carpet is the cheapest, worst product you can buy. It's the same stuff you can get for $1.25 a square foot at big box home improvement stores, and they are charging over $8 per square foot. Although, depending on what zip code you live in they might charge you more or less. I've bought carpet through local carpet stores my whole life, and thought I would try Empire on a whim. I was appalled by their lack of transparency, the ridiculous pricing, the terrible quality of the carpet, and the disgraceful sales tactics. And then the bullying when I said I wouldn't purchase? Now I'm just disgusted. When I called to complain that I was still being texted even though I had asked not to be contacted again, the person in corporate who I was speaking was rude beyond belief. Literally this company is entirely mediocre men who peaked in high school and spend their time bullying people into buying crappy carpet. The worst home improvement I've ever had -- and I didn't even purchase from them! Stay away. Go to a local carpet store where you can spend 30% or more less, and get a MUCH better product

      I got flooring installed and not even 3 months after getting the flooring the rug that was tucked under the transition at the door frames began becoming untucked. I emailed to see if they can come out to retuck the rug and they wanted to charge me 200 dollars. I didnt appreciate that they would pass the buck on to me when it had not even passed a year. Needless to say I will never call empire again for anythinglot of other companies out there that do the same thing and slightly less expensive.

      I spent $ ******** with empire for carpet and laminate flooring. We had the carpet stretched three different times. The laminate is pealing and coming up in a couple places. This was installed 2019. The product is NOT as bad as the installation. I have called and setup appointments with ******* and after waiting around all day, no one showed up or called. I tried to call her the next day and no one would answer. I talked to the installation manager a *********************** and he said that he would like to get my issues cleared up. Empire sent out a gentleman to look at my problems. He took pictures and measured the part that is very bad.We set up another appointment for them to come out and repair this, AGAIN no one showed up. Call after call with no answer and leaving messages with no avail. I realize the warranty is over but like I tried to explain to ************** I cant afford to replace this flooring every time. The product isnt as bad as the installation. Why does empire keep making appointments to come out and fix it and then dont show or call ?

      Do not order from this company. We placed an order for carpet and they charged our credit card the FULL amount and not just the 25% deposit. This order ended up being canceled and well now fast forward 2 weeks and we go to order from another another company and surprise surprise we can't because Empire charged the full amount instead of what they should have of just the deposit and now we can't make it the purchase. Also be aware they never emailed us a copy of any receipt and this company does not provide you proof of any cancellation via email or any kind of paperwork so be leery very leery

      On 8/6/22, the sales person sold LVP floors for my upper and lower sales in my house. When the installers arrived on 8/9/22, they said the salesperson that measured the stairs was done incorrectly and didn't have enough LVP flooring. When I contacted the call center that same day, they said someone would contact me. The following day, I called them, and I told them no one had contacted me. They assured me someone would call. Four days later, I told them no one had contacted me. The rep said there was a resolution your floors are not compatible with LVP. In the same breath, he said the remarks were confusing; it also stated there wasn't enough material. I asked the rep for my deposit because the company didn't honor the contract. He told me if I canceled my order, I would lose my deposit. He told me I must wait for a salesperson to contact me on Monday. This was the worst experience of my life.

      Empire was unprofessional from the very first step. The sales rep was obviously overworked, showed up well outside the agreed upon window, and left carpet samples onsite. The day of the first visit for measurements a confused pair of workmen showed up with the wrong color carpet and not enough material for the job. They were clueless and had to call in to a dispatcher/translator because their English speaking skills werent up to customer interface levels. When I talked to their supervisor he was silent and unprepared to handle unhappy customers on the spot and hung up on me. I had to call up the main number myself to get customer service on the phone because the number on the card the sales rep gave me didnt have voicemail setup. This organization and experience is a disaster from soup to nuts. Stay far away and give your time and money to a business that wont waste it.

      I had a problem with my carpet that was installed with in the year warranty so I called customer service and they said they closed there ******** department and could not warranty my carpet even though I signed a contract.

      During the demise of my husband, I had lament floors installed inside my home. Before the workers arrived I had two chest freezers full of food connected to a power strip extension inside the garage. They finished the job that evening. Later that night I went in the room to see if my furniture was put back correctly and thats when I noticed that my antique bed frame had been heavily scratched up and partially damaged. I found little wooden pieces from the bed frame on the ground. The next day there was a horrific smell coming from the garage. I looked on the side of the freezer and realized that the workers had unplugged the power strip meaning both freezers were unplugged for at least 26 hrs. I called customer service repeatedly day after day and received little/no help reaching upper management. Every time I gave the rep my name and phone number that was associated with order number I would be put on hold for so long the phone would get disconnected. I was told to leave my name and contact info and someone would reach out to me but no one ever did. When I was able to get through to talk to someone no one could get me in touch with upper management. I continuously tried to call and gotten to the point where customer service would no longer answer my phone calls from the number I had been calling from. My priorities were to get upper management to send someone out and observe the mistakes cause by their workers with the damage of my bed and loss of all my food. I continuously called trying to get upper management on the phone so I could stress how important it was for them to resolve these issues quickly and correctly. I had to remove 10 garbage bags full of food that ended up going bad in both freezers due to the negligence of the workers for disconnecting my power strip. Up until this day, I have been continuing trying to reach out to speak to someone in upper management with no success. I will NEVER do business with them again
