I have had an account with Millenium Trust Company for nearly 19 years. Every transaction with them is extremely difficult. It is so frustrating to do a simple distributed that I only do it every other year. It just isnt worth the stress and frustration that doing business with them creates.

Tried to close my account couple months back as my previous employer sent my retirement here. They were not very clear with the instructions and confirmed that my retirement transfer was complete. Come to find out, closing out the account alone costs me $25. Not just that, I was charged a $30 account service fee and a $10 paper statement fee. This was ridiculous seeing that the dividends and gains from the last year was less than a couple of dollars. How is this business allowed to operate like this and charge fees without having us signed an agreement to allow for these fees? All you get is a paper in the mail stating how my account would be accessed. Before you can access your money, they force you to sign all these ridiculous documents. It should be illegal. I would much rather my employer just sent me a check for the amount left and take out the taxes that are owed than giving my money to this fee hungry institution.

I agree with everyone else. The only positive thing was a quick and polite customer service staff. But the entire process was so shady and poorly communicated. I was charged a $35 annual fee for an account set up in my name without my knowledge or consent, and then a $25 account closing fee to take my money out. You can't even access your account for 3-5 days after registering an account with them because they have to approve it, and then it takes up to 10 days to process your rollover/transfer request, at which point they *mail* you a check that you have to then mail to your other retirement account **********************. The email verification link I was sent was also flagged as insecure and likely to be used for data theft. And when you make your account you have to sign confirming you've read their fee schedule before you can even access it. The whole process was so absurd and predatory. Do NOT use this company.

Horrible customer service and team...took me several attempts to release disbursement of funds. Started process 5/31/23 didn't receive my funds until 7/28/23 after several panic attacks and calls to management...When I went to cash check that was finally overnighted to me at their bank ***************** I was subject to more verification at the bank again....so 30 minutes later after the bank rep tried to verify the check....Horrible company and I will never ever do business with them ever again....Absolutely run if your *** is transferred to them.....move your money as soon as possible.

$10 account closing fee to rollover less than $3 to a Vanguard account? There's a special place in h*** for companies like this.Absurd thing is I had already closed out my old TIAA account. MTC apparently bought them while the rollover was occurring. MTC kept a $22 dividend that occurred in the interim. Minus a $20 annual fee for what service I'll never know that leaves $2. Now these imbeciles want $10 to close the account?Waste of time. This company should be charged with fraud and shut down. You did not have a claim to my money once I ordered **** to distribute the funds. A good ******* would have forwarded the dividend. As far as I am concerned, MTC stole the funds.

This company is a fraud. You can't access your account, none of the links work they send you, they draw interest off your money that (you) can't even look at. It's sad to have to hire a lawyer to see your retirement that you worked toothe and nails for. The lawyer is gonna get half of my money, but at least I'll know where it is.

Wish I could leave zero stars.First, I'll say that _when_ I get someone on the phone, they are courteous and knowledgeable. They give me instructions that seem clear. Then when I go to the website, nothing advances or changes. It has been over 4 months of this back and forth and I still cannot access my account. I have been in an endless loop of not access /no ability to transfer and I want my savings back. BBB, please light a fire under this very poorly run company.

Im disgusted to see that this company has an A rating. I really expect better from Better Business Bureau, since the reviews on here make it pretty clear this company is nothing short of a scam. My former employer rolled my retirement savings over from Vanguard to Millennium Trust. For the past year, I have been trying to gain access to the account, with no success. The website sends you in circles and customer service will continually transfer you to different departments. In February, I FINALLY spoke to a customer service representative who verified for me the information Millennial had on file was not accurate. Fine, maybe that was an issue with the information my employer provided. I sent copies of my drivers license and the requested *** form via email. Never heard from Millennium. Called several times and was told my request would take a few weeks to process, but once I got the welcome email, I should be able to access my account.Well, when the welcome email finally arrived, I still could not access my account. Every time I enter my information on the website, I receive an error message stating that information doesnt match an account on file. So either this company employs people who cannot read or does not care to resolve issues, most like it because its profitable not to do so.The kicker is I am receiving paper statements at my address each time Millennium charges me a VERY HEFTY FEE for holding my funds.Millennium Trust is a horrible, horrible company and I have given up hope of being able to ever access the funds being held by them. I genuinely cannot understand how this company can be legal to operate and I sincerely hope the Better Business Bureau will update their rating to reflect how awful this company is.
