On 7/14/2023 my sister and I sought to buy motor parts and were directed to ****** in this company we called ************** spoke with ****** and placed the order for Head lamps, cruise control sensor, blind spot monitor and low relay beams which they confirmed were in stock and we made the payment online on 7/17/2023. They sent a receipt and photos of the parts and there were several email exchanges. Payment was through an account ending **********. We were to receive the parts in 2 weeks but never received them. We have called many times and now they mock us and say we should call the **** We Simply want a refund of our money. I ordered a used engine harness, for a **** ****** Legacy, automatic transmission. I was shipped a harness for a manual transmission, which is not compatible. I have repeatedly sent emails about this, and am ignored. Although I did get a phone call on Nov 16 (from ************), and spoke to a lady, who indicated they would find me the correct part, and would be contacting me. Ordered a mirror assembly from Performance Auto Salvage LLC on October 30, 2023 and sent a wire transfer to the bank shown ************ on the invoice provided to Performance Auto Salvage LLC. Performance Auto Salvage LLC sent a picture of the item and an invoice. Received an email back from Performance Auto Salvage LLC on November 2, 2023, indicating that the wire transfer was successful and that the part would be shipped within 5-7 working days and a tracking number would be provided. After several emails, there has been no response. When searching for the address of Performance Auto Salvage LLC provided on the invoice, the address was assigned to a consulting company that was out of business. The address was located in a residential neighborhood. Consulted the BBB website for complaints which shown numerous complaints about by other customers about parts not being received and no refund offered.Initial Complaint

I was searching for a replacement bumper cover due to damage to my car at a football game. I filled out a search for salvage yards for my year, make, model and color car. I was contacted within 1 hour of filling out the form and was told the bumper cover could be send as soon as I paid by ***** payment. I sent the Zelle payment on September 16th, 2023 along with proof by email and was told I would receive tracking information. I never received tracking and inquired by phone where my bumper cover was after 2 weeks. I was told it was sent to the wrong address but would arrive in another week. It never arrived after 6 weeks, and I needed to fix my car, so I purchased another bumper cover and paid to have it painted and installed it myself.It is now Nov 3rd and I have called and requested a refund and was TOLD it would be send by check. Literally the "check is in the mail" ploy. The check has never arrived and no contact has been made from the company to inform me of any payment, delays or anything. I requested a return from Zelle since it was their preferred payment but it went unanswered. The email address to this company is gmail so that should have been a indicator to me that they were not legitimate since they could not even pay for their own domain name to look professional. I would consider ***** Craigs list or dark alley before I used this company again.Wish I had checked the BBB ratings prior to me giving them money because I got no part and lost my money.Initial Complaint

Very sketchy once they received payment for an auto part.- Stories kept changing on when part would be shipped out.- once payment was collected it was very difficult to get in touch with. If phone call was answered they kept giving me the run around and transferring call to another person.-Finally when they admitted part couldnt be shipped out, they said a refund would be made. was searching for an automatic transmission for my **** Saturn online on 9/15/2023. I received a text from ********************* at Performance Auto Parts telling me he had a great deal for me. I called him, he gave me the details and said the transmission would be shipped immediately and be delivered to my shop doing the work in a few days. On 9/18/2023, I verbally accepted his offer and he connected me with ********************* to make payment. (Both guys had Indian accents). ***** told me they don't accept credit cards and to wire him the money $575.00 + tax totaling $612.00. I told him I don't want to pay a wire transfer fee. He said no problem and reduced the price from $612.00 total to $550.00 total (he removed $25.00 to cover the wire transfer fee and the tax too). He told me he would send me a receipt and tracking number the next day. He told me to wire the money to a ********** account with the account name "**********************". On 9/18/2023 I wired the money. I went on the BBB.org website and Yelp and discovered these guys are scammers. Everything is fake including the address. They troll the internet targeting people searching for auto parts. They claim they have the part and steal your money with no intention shipping anything. I immediately reported this suspected wire fraud incident to my bank on 9/18/2023. He did not send me a receipt with a tracking number. I call ***** and he told me he would send it in 2 weeks when the transmission ships. I told him that wasn't the deal, I can't wait 2 weeks, and I canceled the order. After a heated argument he agreed to mail me a refund the next day. I called him in 2 days to ask if he had mailed the refund check and he laughed at me and told me I was out of my mind and hung up on me. They use several different buisness names to describe themselves. The recently changed their name from "Performance Auto Parts" to "Performance Auto Salvage" and changed their address as well! I purchased a Hood for a **** **** Falcon on 08/24/2023 for ****** and I have received nothing I have called numerous times and either I get an answer like its been shipped or I will have to call back when shipping team is available when asked to speak with supervisor the answer I get is that he is on break I have tried to reason with them but they now dont even answer their phone all I get is voicemail
