      Hello. I am having an Discover personal loan from two years. I dont know whats going on with this personal loan or something discover taking off from me without knowing from it. I took loan of $15000 with *****% APR and paying with extra payments and paying every month on time without any missed payments. the issue here is even when I am paying principal eveymonth and interest too and later next the month the interest rate suppose to decrease based on what is on my outstanding balance but here interest is increasing every month. I didn't opened or realized this much scam is going on until I opened the statements. For an example on a month When I paid monthly payment as $570 the interest itself went is $290 and remaining added into Principal. what kind of scam is this. last month on July I Got of $130 of interest and Again on august I got of statement $160 of Interest how Can it Increase. also on MY discover app it shows 0% APR and all wrong. so something is going on behind of this. Please help me out of this.

      Checking account through Discover opened about 4 months. My employer direct deposits every 2 weeks. Ive had numerous problems since opening this account, its literally been the worst banking decision Ive ever made. My son recently turned 18 and is enrolled at our local college. He is in the process of obtaining his state issued ID card, so without it, his ***** checks (2 so far) have been mailed in paper check form from ********** Disbursements ************************** The first one was signed over to myself by my son, I signed, and deposited into my checking account. We waited a long period for the check to clear to be made available by Discover, and I believe we even waited an extra couple of days to make sure it was available before I withdrew his money and gave it to him. This was 3 weeks ago. On October 7th, he signed over his second check, I signed and deposited. My employer also direct deposited my paycheck this day. I needed to pay my rent, and Discover had taken away Zelle for a lot of its users, so I initiated a wire transfer FROM MY PAYCHECK as these were the funds AVAILABLE, to go to my *********** account so I could pay my rent. Discover says they then called to verify one of the checks and they stated that the Disbursement check was fraudulent (suddenly both checks from the disbursement center were fake-even though they were sent directly from the disbursement center, and the first one had cleared almost a month previous with no issues whatsoever). Discover has now taken ALL of our money, $1,700+ and informed me they will be doing further investigation, and if at the end of their 60 day process they find that Im owed money, theyll send me a check as they have closed my account, and there was no way to speed up the process even if we contacted the correct issuer of the check and were able to verify this was NOT fraud and Discover was wrong. No rent, no food, no gas to get to work, single mom, because Discover has stolen ALL of my money.

      Not only have you ignored my prior requests for validation of this inquiry but you also continue to report this to the credit bureaus causing damage to my character. I am giving last chance to DELETE this on the consumers report at once or I will *** your company for violations of my consumer rights as indicated under both the ***** and the **** and DEMAND $1000 for all damages you caused to my character.

      I did not want my account closed. They closed it anyway and refuse to open it back up. I want my account opened now or I won't pay off the debt anymore.

      I am rejecting this response because I want my account open. They want me to pay for the spending of the account even though they kept me from using my card for months and made.me have to get new cards to then not be able to use them for the account. And then I called them and I begged for the account to be open again and they said no, to apply for a new card. I want my account opened again. It's not that hard to do.

      I tried withdrawing my money from my Discover Checking Account mid September but was unable to do so. I tried waiting thinking this was a website issue but when I realized I had lost all access to my account, I called customer service so 09/23/2022 and was informed that my account has been closed for "business reasons" and that a check would be mailed to me 60 days after the last deposit. The last deposit to my account was 03/06/2022 - it has been 151 calendar days since the last deposit. The last withdrawal from my account on 07/29/2022 - it has been 74 calendar days since the last withdrawal. The only response I hear from Discover Customer Support is to wait for the check. I have over $5000 in that account that I need desperately and have been deprived of without being supplied with any reason for doing so.

      Solicitation for opening a DISCOVER CREDIT CARD!!!!I received an offer from Discover to open a new credit card with the promise of 0% interest for 18 months and it had to be transferred by October 10, 2022... I called to make a transfer as I only open the account because of the 0% interest for 18 months! I was told by three different people they are not offering any promotions at this time. That any promotions that had been offered would've expired in September which is odd considering the information I have in BOLD PRINT STATES CLEARLY October 10, 2022 and today is October 7, 2022. Spoke with three different individuals each have the same rhetoric which basically is a bait and switch or a shell game for people that respond to their offers they received in the mail. I was issued the credit card but they do not want to honor the 18 months 0% interest which is the only reason for my applying for their credit card. ************ is conducting a con game and the people working for it do not seem to mind lying to people. This is false advertising under any circumstances... BE WARE ************ does not honor the information it sends to you to entice you to open a credit card with DISCOVER.

      I am seeking help to appeal a dispute that DISCOVER advised me is resolved. I am writing for help in a dispute of charges from the transaction company named RIOT "RIOT GAMES". The 1st charge on 01/04/2022 continuing until 04/17/2022 causing a total of 164 FRADULENT charges totaling $1448.36 (Here is a breakdown: there are Thirty-Eight (38) charges for $4.99, One Hundred Twentynine (129) charges for $9.99, for a total of $1448.36 from this company listed as RIOT) which were charged to my DISCOVER card multiple times in infrequent random small charges- then seemed to continue on an automatic billing or some type of automatic or recurring basis constantly to my DISCOVER card account. These charges are the charges that I am contacting you about to advise that they ARE fraudulent, not made by me & not made by anyone in my home (as my ******** live alone - no one else that I can name has access to my card information). I previously opened a claim with DISCOVER in my own due diligence in accordance with the law & the Fair Credit Billing Act & has now escalated to including writing to the BBB & filing a police report to dispute the charges that I have detailed here due to the ongoing issue of DISCOVER not determining that the charges are fraudulent- which is in error because these are fraudulent. I have never heard of this company, I have no relation to them, I have no idea how they received any card information of mine to make ANY, let alone, ALL of these purchases. In short, I did not buy the "items" or online "items". I also received no good/services from them in the mail or anywhere else. My card at the time I reported the fraud to DISCOVER was not even in my possession. I discovered much later that my OLD wallet was stolen from my car & the only ACTIVE card that was compromised was the DISCOVER CARD in question. DISCOVER continues to advise if I provide new information they will re-open my claim but no matter what I provide they decline to review the claim.

      Im the victim of identity theft and I did NOT open or authorize a Discover credit card account ending in ****. I requested Discover bank to investigate this fraudulent account, and they were concluded that I'm responsible for this account and the balance. I didn't agree with the investigation result, so I sent an appeal letter to Discover bank request to re-investigate. In the appeal letter, I have enclosed the copy of my FTC identity theft report, Police report, and copy of my ID supporting my position. However, Discover bank did not conduct re-investigation due to "not enough evidence". In fact, I have provided strong evidences to prove I'm the victim of identity theft. Address that was listed on the fraudulent credit card account was NOT even the address I lived in, Discover bank enable this fraud occurred because they allowed someone to use my name to open a credit card account that I didn't authorize. I filed a police report about this identity theft and the case is still under active investigation. I provided my case number to Discover bank with the hope that they will work with local law enforcement to investigate and protect my right as a consumer. Unfortunately, Discover bank refused to investigate this fraud and also violate Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to start collection activities against me.

      I recently noticed that "Discover Bank" has been reporting negative information to my credit report. For starters, I DID NOT AUTHORIZE OR CONSENT TO THE SHARING OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIS INSTITUTION. I WAS 18 AT THE **** AND UNAWARE NOR CAPABLE OF OPENING THIS ACCOUNT ON MY OWN. THIS IS FRAUD AND NEEDS TO BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY FROM ALL THREE MAJOR BUREAUS.Also, according to the account open date, this account was opened May 2015. That is a CLEAR VIOLATION OF MY STATUTE OF LIMITATION RIGHTS, which under the **** states that an account must be removed from your credit profile after 7 years. PLEASE DELETE IMMEDIATELY.BELOW I ATTACHED AN IDENTITY THEFT AFFIDAVIT IN WHICH I SUBMITTED UPON REALIZATION OF THIS FRAUD ACCOUNT. PLEASE DELETE.ACCOUNT #: ************ ACCOUNT BAL: $2,458
