There is never an annual fee or hidden costs, you also earn rewards while making purchases and the redemption process is simple. From excellent rewards and security to top-tier customer service and support, Discover is one of the best options for online financial services.
      I love Discover for the value and financial opportunities they have provided me.

      Had my discover credit card for 10 years and never had a problem until 11/24. Opened a dispute case against harry and david because I never received the merchandise I paid over 200 dollars for. Discover ruled in their favor even though I provided proof from fedex themselves saying the package never left Ohio. I've had dispute cases with another card and never had an issue like I did with discover. Don't walk run away screaming from this buisness

      Worst for customer communication. Everyday, they are changing their voice and their representative don’t know what is the next steps. I strongly discourage to apply for the loan in discover.

      Have never had any issues. It blows me away that their rating is so low. I can only imagine people are doing something wrong. Discover has always sided with me on disputes. The *** for savings is very competitive. Have used them as my primary bank for years now and also have a credit card with them which has great cash back.

      I have had two credit cards from Discover since 2021. Earlier this month they decreased my credit limit on both cards totaling a $10,100 reduction. My credit score bounces around 700. I have had one late payment by four days last month, Other than that I have never missed a payment or had a late payment with discover or any other debts. NEVER!!! This has lowered my credit score substantially and put me in the poor category. I have been in food service all my life and have been at my current job for six years. I owe less money now than I have in the past.I believe this decrease is due to my age as I am in my 60s. When I spoke with an agent at Discover they refused to reverse the limit with no reason why.

      Im writing to file a formal complaint about how my Discover credit card account was handled. As a ********** college student, I was excited to receive my first credit card and begin building my credit. Upon creating my account and after opening it I received only ONE email requesting identity verification and no further communication after thatno follow-ups, no reminders, and no notice that my account was closed. I had to discover that myself, which is unacceptable. Now, Im told the account cant be reopened, and my credit report reflects a one-month history thats harming my score. What makes this even more frustrating is that I cannot resolve this through email or direct online support, and Im forced to mail this complaint just to be heard because the mishandling was on Discovers part.

      they are the worst credit card company when it comes to consolidating credit with a loan company that is trying to help ME. discover should have a way to double check that you are inputting the correct amount of money you make yearly because i shake and hit too many and they did not even check to make sure it was correct. i am disabled and theyre wanting me to add so much more money that i do not have to my account to settle the loan. i highly do NOT recommend this credit card company ever. ill never have a discover card again i dont even want to give these people ONE star they do not deserve any stars

      Ive been a long-time customer, but this recent experience has completely shattered my trust in Discover.I followed their instructions for expedited processing by overnighting money orders (at nearly $70 out-of-pocket) to fund my account. Weeks passed no confirmation, no updates, and no communication from Discover.Only after I threatened to escalate the issue to senior leadership did someone bother to reach out. The *** even acknowledged that the deposit should have been processed yet instead, they rejected the money orders and mailed them back to me, with no explanation or apology.This is completely unacceptable for a bank that claims to value its customers. Not only did they waste my time and money, but they also failed to take responsibility or offer any support throughout the process.If youre looking for a responsive, reliable financial institution look elsewhere.

      Rude/Inconsistent ************** While Im working 5/27/2025 Im notified via email about my Discover acct. Long story short, I tired to get clarification. Account was closed and Discover REFUSED to reopen it. Payments made consistently and to find out that I may be a victim of identity theft (Amazon,Cash App, *********, ******** also sent scam notifications. Oh well!!! Thats how Discover settled it!!! I tried to explain.

      They scammed me. I fell behind on my credit card. I called them to get back on track. They made 2 offers, reduce what I owed and pay down or pmts for 1 year and they would reactive my card. I choose the 1 year of payments. After 15 months they did not reactive my card. Now they increased my payments and only about ***** go to principal. They mislead me . I called and the *** said would not help me said nothing I can do. They did not keep their own agreement and purposely mislead me to get more money from me. They never had intention reactive my card. That action is a SCAM. discover was suppose to be a ***utable company now I see they are not. They do not stand behind their own words or policy. I tried to speak to a supervisor just to be left on hold. I got NO HELP from their customer service and was clearly scammed , given bad financial info and they mis***resented their options to " help" me. It's against the law to give peobad financial info for the gain of their own company. This company should be investigated and fined or closed down due to Bad business practices. Misleading your customers, taking money from them in bad faith , and all around misleading them . I asked to go onto the other payment plan they offered and was told no. They SCAMMED ME . Very misleading. They took 15 payments from me in bad faith based on a scam.
