      I've paid all the late payments that I had in 2018/2019 when I was laid off from my work, I talked to the company and they don't help me to get removed it from my credit score.15 U.S.C **** SECTION 602A. States I have the right to privacy.15 U.S.C **** SECTION 604A SECTION 2. It also states a consumer reporting cannot furnish an account without my written instructions.15 U.S.C **** SECTION 604A SECTION 4. There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumers right to privacy.15 *********** Section A. Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt.

      On 6/28/22, I received an email that there was suspicious activity and to call the customer service line. My checking and savings account have been frozen and I have no access to view the statements. I waited on hold three times, totaling six hours, to find out they froze my account because of my payroll deposit. I authorized the ***** verification deposits and yet they still froze the account when my employer deposited my payroll check. The payroll and identity was verified on the phone and a manager was directed to call me back within 24 hours. I have yet to receive a call. I have never heard of this being suspicious activity, especially after it was verified by Discover earlier in the month. I have approximately $13,000 frozen between the accounts. I have called back several times only to be told theres only one department that can answer questions but they are unavailable and you cannot get through. Today it has been ***************************************** access to my money so I can close the account. The deposit contract states some funds will be available and the rest may be put on hold for 5 business days. However, this applies to deposit checks, not ACH payroll deposits from one of the largest employers in the world. I will seek legal advice if I do not receive access to my funds by the end of the week.

      On 06/22/2022, I got an email from Discover Bank stating "We noticed unusual activity on your account. For security purposes, we have suspended access to your account." I verified this statement by trying to login to Discover Bank online via my laptop and mobile app. My account was frozen. I called the phone number provided in the email from Discover Bank ************** which the email stated was "available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week". I called this phone number multiple times a day. Each time the wait for a specialist is over 2 hours. The phone calls get disconnected at around 3 hours and 2 minutes. (I visited https://www.reddit.com/r/discover/ where numerous people stated they were in the same position as me. Their calls also get disconnected after hours.) I was informed by the bank that my CT ********** of ***** unemployment direct deposit payments were flagged as suspicious but it won't happen again. On 06/29/2022 my account was frozen again. Hours of phone calls, no response since. I have no access to my unemployment payments because Discover Bank does not answer my calls no matter how many hours I call. (Over 9 hours every day.)

      Opened two account utilized banking service as would any other person. I deposited my check from Sacramento county it clears then discover says that my account is closed but it isnt they just will not give me my funds Ive called called waited over hours no resolution I havent been able to use my funds pay bills etc

      DISCOVER is furnishing 3 late payments on my consumer reports. I sent DISCOVER correspondence outlining how they are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. DISCOVER completely ignored the document sent with my complaint to the ***** They failed to address why they are violating the provisions within the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Citing the Cardmember Agreement, DISCOVER cannot cherry pick the ***** "Fraud vitiates the most solemn Contracts, documents and even judgments" [U.S. vs. ************, 98 US 61, at pg. 65]. DISCOVER is in violation of the below provisions within the ****** 15 USC ****B - 15 USC 1681b(2)- 15 USC 1681(2)(a)(i) DISCOVER did not address the contents written in the letter because they know that they are in violation of them. DISCOVER has a duty to follow ALL of the provisions within the ***** DISCOVER has violated my consumer rights as a natural person and the original creditor pursuant to 15 USC ****b due to willful violations causing financial injury pursuant to ************************** ************************ If they do not comply, I will be forced to take legal action pursuant to 15 USC 1692K. I am demanding remedy through the removal of those payments from my consumer reports.

      Discover Bank has delayed processing my loan payoff check for an unreasonable period.I have sent via registered overnight mail a check for $20,312.00 .They received the check but cannot tell why it has not been processed.in the mean time they have told me I am behind on my payments.This is unreasonable and unfair to say the least.

      Discover bank cheated me by failing to accept payment
      In a timely fashion. By delaying check processing for over three weeks
      They increased their charges. The customer service was abominable.
      ****** failed to return calls and is an embarrassment at best.
      I have cancelled all my cards with discover as a result.

      Discover Bank has just given me proof that the individual consumer has no power whatsoever over these very large corporations.. their consumer advocate department is a total farce. it is unfortunate that consumers in this country simply have no method by which to resolve their issues. Discover bank has simply arbitrarily and capriciously denied my complaint. Sadly the Better Business Bureau has no more power than I do .

      Discover Bank froze my savings and checking account due to suspicious behavior. Ive contacted customer service numerous times and they have said only the security team can help me. They provided no information whats so ever about what the issue is The security team has a weight time well over 3 hours but automatically disconnects your call after 3 hours. I cannot see any transactions on my mobile app or website as they have blocked that too. I have tried closing my accounts but they said I cannot without speaking to the security team. They provide no call back options or email options to speak with them. I did research and see that this is happening to MANY others. The security team is impossible to reach but also they hold your money hostage until you do talk with them. I have been on hold a total of 12 hours the past two days. Ive seen online some people have been on hold for 5-6 hours a day for a month without any resolution. This must be criminal. I will be removing all money from these accounts and closing it first chance I get. Hopefully sometime by ********************************************* to that. WORST BANKING INSTITUTION EVER. Will also be reaching out to the *****

      I am trying to reach a settlement amount on a credit card that I have had for about 4 years. During covid I lost my job and got behind on payments. I then called in January 2022 to get a settlement amount for my $10,000 balance. They were willing to settle at that time at $5,000 but I only had $3,500 available. They then enrolled me in a ****% program where they would reduce my interest rate and set me up on a payment plan. I have been making my payments regularly so I am now down to a $7,500 balance. I have called discover multiple times in an attempt to settle on my account due to unforeseen circumstances. I recently got pregnant and need a home to live in and grow my family. Part of that has been an effort to clear all debt off of my credit report. After multiple attempts, discover stated that since I am enrolled in their "permanent program" I am not eligible for a settlement amount. I was never told this before I enrolled in the program. I never signed anything to enroll in the program. It was a verbal agreement which I would not have made if all terms and conditions were disclosed to me including the fact that I would not be eligible to come to a settlement while enrolled. I have left multiple complaints with phone representatives and it has gone no where. I even had a representative say to me "I can submit a complain for you but they're probably not even going to answer it or do anything for you". I would like to come to a reasonable settlement amount with discover financial to remove this debt off my credit report as soon as possible.

Although I do currently have an open case with them as well, I have only received multiple messages from Discover stating that my case has been assigned to ******* from **************** of ******** Advocacy and is being reviewed but no actual response or resolution has been brought to my attention where I would be comfortable enough to close this case with BBB. My issue is still not resolved in this matter. Thank you.
