      Very disappointing in Discovery at the moment. After getting a suggestion from Credit Karma that Discover card would be a perfect fit for me. The process seem to be just as it was for ******************* card, *********** card as well as the rest of my credit cards. Except I didnt receive my credit card from Discover. But I did receive a hard inquiry on my credit score. After waiting three weeks or more I reached out to discovery to find out that they and the ************** had lost my card. I was willing to accept this mistake they made and continue with them. After about a week and a half to two weeks later I finally received my credit card. I activated it and placed it in my wallet for future use. After a few weeks went by I tried using it just to find out that it didnt work. I had them called customer service to activate it through them and try again. At the time I had no use for it a few weeks went by and my wife wanted to use it. But reluctant to her it had got denied again. So here I go again calling customer service just to find out that they had sent me an email for verification to the *** and that it would take 2 to 3 weeks. This has just made me even more frustrated with Discover knowing that this has never happened with any of my other credit cards. And that this is a continuing thing thats going on with Discovery. Im not understanding why this process hasnt been modified so the customers are not complaining about this. And how do I know that due to the loss of the first credit card is the reason why im getting targeted for verification. I am very disappointed in the process and I am very frustrated on how discovery is handling it. They have all my information they have my signature they have already hit my credit score. And now Im supposed to just wait longer. As of right now this is the worst experience on getting any credit cards. After being transferred to a supervisor that sounded exactly like the representative I was speaking with no luck

      Going against the norm and using BBB to compliment a company. Over a decade or so, I have received great service from Discover 95%+ of the time. Compared to any other credit card I have held (even the premium ones with annual fees), Discover outshines them. I will regularly recommend a Discover card to family and friends

      Prior to last month, I RAVED about Discover card. They're customer service was excellent and I loved their services. That changed about 45 days ago when they put a hold on my husband's credit card. Out of the blue, after having the card for YEARS, they shut it off with NO notice. After a "not authorized" payment at a restaurant, we found out that it was shut off so they could "verify his identity". What?! Why?! They said this was "standard" and they'd have to get a transcript from the *** to prove his identity. We are normal, everyday people. Nothing should have caused this. It was such an inconvenience because we had SO many payments hooked to this card. It took forever to switch everything. After 45 days and no word from Discover, the card is still shut off. ***** on you Discover. This is no way to treat your loyal customers.

      They closed my savings account due to a business decision after depositing a check from my personal account. I have more than enough money to cover it if there was some issue but now they won't find a solution other than issuing a refund check in 60 days. Completely unacceptable that their "system" can do this without any kind of correspondence with the customer.

      Discover bank is not the same anymore! On 06.01.2022 I lost my partner of 17 years. My life totally derailed. I called Discover in a hope to hear my opinions to get back on track.... The representative acted like she doesn't f**king care. Instead of offering some solutions, that b**ch told me: Oh! You are not only behind on payments, you are over the limit? You gotta pay all this ASAP, or we gonna close your card....You know what Discover? ??????My other banks went above and beyond for me in this situation. Your bank is trash!

      Ive applied for credit cards to discover card multiple times and I continue to get denied Ive got numerous credit cards that Ive paid off credit accounts that I paid off business loans that I paid off I been self-employed for two years I just paid ******* and taxes nothing on my credit has been laid Ive got loans that Im paying on time that I paid before they were due and I still cannot get excepted for Car to discover card for me Im a minority I believe the racist I believe they dont want a minority individual to have one of the cards some people would say oh youre close minded and its ridiculous observe but Ive witnessed a white ********* male or female walk right up and get a Discover card with bad credit bankruptcy the whole nine and I cant get nothing to then
