      LRS used to be DC Trash. When Lakeshore recycling took over service went to h*** in a handbasket and it's gotten worse over the years. In May we had our recycling out twice and they never picked it up and promised us they would come within 48 hours and both times they never came. Now we've been trying to cancel our service for over 3 weeks now. We have left numerous voicemail messages and filled out their online form. We get the emails back saying they received our request and will contact us within 24 hours, but three and a half weeks later, five voicemails and five emails later we still have not been contacted and our bins continue to sit on the side of the road. If you can choose any other garbage service I would recommend doing so.

      Worst customer service I have ever seen, even worse than Comcast.
      Their customer service recording says returned messages within 24 hours, but I've been waiting almost 1 week from the first message left.
      I would discourage any municipality from using this 2-bit operation. Go hire a real garbage collection company.

      I'm needing help setting up services. I've called 13 times over the past 3 weeks as we need Trash pick up and nobody will return my calls. I've done email inquiries as well and it states with in 24 hours someone will reach out and it's been weeks. I'm unsure what to do. This is by far the worst experience I've had with a trash company typically starting service is easy.

      We signed up for unlimited yard refuse and pickup was done for 2 weeks. This week no pickup was done. Sales referred me to call **************** and on hold 20 minutes and no pickup.

      4 minutes agoNewIf I could give 0 stars I would. ******** customer service. We have had them for about 3 years. we have a farm and need picks to be correct. I can never get in touch with ANYONE from this company. Every time I make a contact they leave the company. The past week I have spent hours on hold, no one every picks up and you cannot leave a message. I messaged them through their website, no response. I found another email through ****** reviews they listed in their response to other complaints. This is my last hope that they will respond but I am not very hopeful. Maybe they will see this review and reply on here. In the mean time I will be looking for another service provider. We are over it.*******update, called their number they replied to me here (amazing they have time to do this but not actually call their customers back) . It just goes to the same place as before and I chose the option to get a call back. it has been 5 hrs.....I do not think I am getting a call back from them. What else can I do???       Wish I could give LRS no stars. Poor communication. Unable to get equipment picked up after contract expired. Called several time. Left message. Email. Contacted *********** no response. Equipment still on property after contract expired a month ago.

      *** is the worst. **************** does not respond to call backs or emails.Also check your bill - they bill for cans you don't even have.Been trying for 4 weeks to get service setup at new address - still no responses.LRS - webserver is slowest I have ever seen.The call service hold times are excessive.I have nothing good to say about LRS

      If I could leave zero I would. I purchased a roll on/off dumpster for a garage clean out for 05MAY25. The day of came and I called and tried to contact the person I signed the contract with and never receieved an answer. I called the next day and spoke to someone who seemed very confused and said he would call me back and never did. Besides not getting the dumpster, they charged me! I'm disputing the charge and regret ever thinking this could work based on how terrible they are remembering to get our garbage every week.

      Negative five (-5) score for LRS (Lakeshore Recycling Systems) service in ********. Gosh! Look at all these complaints! I contacted *** for four (4) weeks starting April '25 & now it's May '25. No resolution. *** has TIGHTLY controlled contract methods (one way only). I'm Trying to accomplish one easy task. I merely want to "switch out" one large garbage bin with a smaller garbage bin. I can't get a hold of a supervisor, or the CEO, or Director of Operations as they want the public to deal ONLY with AI, chat boxes, CHATGBT, algorithms, email, or text. No resolution in 4 weeks now despite my dogged determination. Trying to find an alternative......
