Have a power train warranty that doesn't cover a part of the engine but it's attached to the engine... How is it other companies cover the thermostat bc it is bolted down to the engine but this company doesn't. Then under items not covered thermostat isn't listed there either so do you cover it or not .. it's apart of the engine back but you don't want to cover it and replace the engine now that the head gaskets have blown... This company is a scam and horrible with customer service and making sure that the clients y'all have paying for your plan are taken care of. What's the point of a powertrain warranty if you don't cover nothing... I will never refer people to take out any kind of warranty with this companyZurich North America

I only added 3 thousand miles to this ***** Equinox which only had 21 thousand miles when we bought it. 2 months ago. It is now stalling and coming to a complete stop with code P0011. Zurich will not fix it.. We were told that this was a BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY at the ****** ***** dealership upon purchasing this warranty.Zurich North America

I was very patient at first. But now I am convinced this company is an absolute scam. We have been running around in circles for MONTHS now. I filed a claim, provided all documents, then I wait a few weeks for a response. Nothing happens. I call again, they say I need to provide something Ive already provided and the cycle continues. I am extremely organized, provided them with documents and even highlighted items for them and this game is continuing. Yesterday I called to speak with someone and was promised an adjuster would call me back. Of course, nothing. I called and was put on hold for 30 mins and then at 5:00PM the phone magically disconnected. Im just fed up. Please stay as far away as possible from this company.Zurich North America

We have had the worst experience with Zurich Travel Assist. I have lost the number of times we had to resubmit same documents via email. Why can’t there be one system where documents can just be uploaded? Nope, all documents are sent via email and no one keeps track of anything? I had a life threatening emergency on a cruise, was resuscitated at cruise’s medical center and then transported to nearest hospital in UK. I underwent emergency surgery and received blood transfusion for massive blood loss. claim was initiated May 13 2024. Zurich send us claim forms to fill out and list of documents which we submitted while I was still in a hospital. Thankfully upon return to USA I submitted all my medical bills and they got covered /reimbursed by my US medical insurance. At this point no medical expense reimbursement was needed from Zurich. Only claims remained were our cruise interruption and flights to return home. Past 3 months we have called every 2 weeks only to be on hold for an hour and then be told to wait another 1-2 weeks. Now we called 8/8/24 and were told our case review was completed. However they had to submit it for processing. We asked to speak to our case manager/ reviewer Victoria but what a surprise her phone number doesn’t accept messages and our call was just disconnected. Now on Aug 16 2024 we are sent a new email asking us to have a surgeon fill out a new discharge application which is different from the one we were sent during hospitalization. To have a surgeon from another country who I will never see again fill out new forms … 3 months later. It is unacceptable to sent us new forms and request them filled by a doctor or surgeon who we have no contact of and is from another country. There are no medical claims are to be reviewed by Zurich. We have already submitted initial form, surgical report, discharge papers! I will never ever be using this company or recommend it to anyone. My claim #737862. The worst ever !!!!!!! Purchased *********** can't get a supervisor to call back I was put on medical delay and this has been the worst process ever can't get any answers it's ridiculous !!!!!!! I'VE HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE OF **************************************************************, & AM FORCED ME TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM FOR NOT HONORING THEIR AGREEMENT TO PAY FOR THE FOLLOWING 5 CLAIMS AS OUR 16-DAYS MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE ENDED 5 DAYS AFTER THE **** BEGAN: Claim Number: ****** (baggage delay), ****** (baggage lost). ****** (medical), ****** (trip interruption), ****** (electronic)1. MY LUGGAGE WAS LOST & DELAYED 3 DAYS, THEN IT WAS FOUND DAMAGED TO THE POINT OF NEEDING TO BUY A NEW LUGGAGE.2. MY MOM'S NEW IPHONE WAS STOLEN AND SHE HAD TO BUY A NEW ONE 3. I FELL IN ***** AND FRACTURED LEFT SHOULDER. WE HAD TO CANCEL OUR CRUISE & RETURN FLIGHT, PURCHASE NEW FLIGHT TO RETURN TO ** FOR URGENT MEDICAL CARE. JULY 2- I SUBMITTED ALL CLAIMS WITH 25+ DIFFERENT DOCUMENTS/MEDICAL REPORTS/EOB/RECEIPTS/EXPENSE SHEETS//ITINERARIES FOR FLIGHTS AND CRUISE . JULY 17 (I WAITED PAST 10 BUSINESS DAYS)- I CALLED AND WAS TOLD TO WAIT UNTIL JULY 23 FOR THE CLAIMS TO BE FINALIZED. JULY 23- I CALLED AGAIN AND WAS TOLD ALL CLAIMS WILL BE FINALIZED BY END OF THE ****** JULY 31. I WAS SPECIFICALLY TOLD THAT CLAIMS **** WANTS TO FINALIZED ALL CLAIMS BY THE END OF THE ***** (JULY).AUGUST 2- I CALLED & AGAIN, NEW DATE TO FINALIZE AUGUST 14. I called to cancel the contract as the price is way too high and after 2 years I have only 7000 miles on the vehicle. The reresentaive refused to acknowledg that I wanted to cancel or share the steps required. He insisted continuing to try to use fear to scare me that without this coverage, dealereships and repair shops would ***** me and it would be impossible to find another reputable warranty company. After looking here, I see they are rated a one star, and I understand why. Scam artists so many exclusions that they just about be able to weasel out of any repair. I am sending a certified letter declaring my immediate cancellation of the war warranty.Zurich North America

Paper work said anytime you get in a an ambulance or being transported to hospital its an accident. Yep is in second page. Getting in contact with case officer is not possible and getting a call back is a joke. First of I got in contact with claims office and yes a heart attack is when on the road a accident got discharged from hospital with a stem implanted bills from hospital where first payed then my case was as once gone no record. After talking to the **************** of insurance and telling the adjuster at ****** about it I was back in the paperwork. Now after almost 5 weeks with no pay what I am entitled to per Texas insurance department I am going to a lawyer to fight this for every ***** they think they can withhold from me.Zurich North America

This is the worst travel insurance company I have ever worked with. I chose to use them based upon they being a partner with ****** Travel. On June 10th I was told it would take 10 business days to receive a determination. I did not receive that determination until June 25th where they said they would be issuing a check immediately. After calling back in early July I was told that the check had been mailed on June 27th then when I called back again I was told that it was that customer service person's experience that checks weren't mailed until after the 4th of July holiday . It is now July 23rd at I have still not received my payment. On July 19th I again contacted them and they indicated that they would provide a direct deposit to my bank account with my banking information, which I provided. It is now 5 days later and they still have not made the transfer to my account. Who holds these people accountable? This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!Zurich North America
