      I work in the automotive industry and file tons of warranty claims on a variety of cars/concerns. in my experience Zurich is one of the worst companies to purchase when buying a vehicle, a big portion of it is how long it takes to even be able to reach them i am currently on hold just trying to speak with a representative to initiate a claim for a customer that has been waiting at the dealership waiting for a update, sadly the only update i can give is that I have been on hold for over 50 minutes to try to file a claim that i have done almost everyday and takes 6 min at MOST to gather information to either approve or deny a claim. however if i were to choose the wrong extension they would pick up immediately and then transfer me to wait 1 hour to file a 6 min claim its ridiculous. As a service advisor in the automotive industry and seeing what customers pay for vs what they actually receive with the company i would try any other company AT ALL.

      I wouldnt even give them one star but you cant rate them zero. This is single handedly the WORST insurance company Ive had to deal with. Their insured driver caused my accident and he was given a ticket and faulted at the scene. I filed the claim with Zurich 3 weeks ago and Ive been given zero updates about them repairing my car?? *** called a total of 19 TIMES in these three weeks to get an update on my car and just to simply ask what is going on. I call, I leave voicemails and no one ever responds. I finally get a hold of someone today and they said its my responsibility to get the police report from the accident and send it to them?? I called my county sheriffs office and they said getting the police report is quite literally their job and not your responsibility. This company is BEYOND unprofessional and I warn everyone to stay away from them at all costs.

      Just terrible. ******** Tours (also never again!!) uses Zurich for their tours. **** was a disaster and several of ** missed two days of our trip and filed hotel, food and transportation fees in addition to lost luggage expenses. After a month a letter was received saying ******** could not confirm the travel delay (someone is lying) and that we needed a signed letter from the airline, etc. Are you kidding me? Now this is for my Mom who was on the same trip with us. My husband and I have a yearly policy with Allianz. We received the best customer service from Allianz. A check has been issued with no hoops to jump through. Zurich , same on you for treating your customers this way. And shame on ******** for partnering with you, although you're apparently cut from the same cloth.

      Super Bowl Sunday the hubby and I were taking my mother in law to the airport and while the hubby was driving (not to throw him under the bus), he sped up a little to make the green light. What he didn't see was a giant pot hole and he hit that thing HARD! My tire basically exploded and went from 33 psi to 6 within seconds. We took the car to the dealership, the dealership made the claim, I got a brand new tire and not a ***** out of pocket! This was 6 months after I bought the vehicle and I'm so happy that I purchased the tire and wheel protection and I have that for another 4.5 years! Highly recommend!

      Do not purchase a vehicle warranty or any other Insurance coverage through this company. Had to pay toll and diagnosis fees, no loaner vehicle coverage. They are in business because of clients. I am getting my lawyer and will be sure to get the word out on this company. If enough former clients tell others they will be out of business as they should.

      AWFUL - STAY AWAY. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I was rear-ended by one of their insured drivers. I call and email and they don't respond for days. When I finally did get a hold of them they said my claim was cancelled because their insured said the accident never happened. They never even reached out to me to get my side of the story. The claims adjuster doesn't even apologize or have any human response. I told them I have the police report, photographic evidence of the damage, and a statement from the police that their driver was cited for the accident. The claims adjuster literally starts arguing with me over the form - so unprofessional. I follow up with them via email and phone for a couple of days and hear nothing. Then I emailed them that I will be getting my lawyer and insurance involved and guess who responded REAL quick. YOUR INSURED DRIVER HIT ME. This company is an actual joke and should not be allowed to operate.

      Zurich insurance really showed me they care. My adjuster ************************* did an amazing job when I injured myself at work. I was promptly paid and ahe showed genuine care. I was really amazed at her work ethics. I will continue to use this company for my insurance needs in the future. The only thing that not good is the paying out every 4 weeks because that puts me behind on my bills. I wish they could pay out weekly the way I was paid at my job. Other then that they rock and never like this company.

      My daughter was reared ended yesterday buy a Zurich insurer. So far she's on day 2 of not having a rental car and has called the company twice regarding the issue. Their response is they haven't been in touch yet by the company that owed the company car and the driver who was operating the car. It's on the police report which was provided by the state trooper who saw the accident happened. (The reason why traffic was stopped.) Why does it take so long to contact the people/company you're insuring. It's all in the police statement. Your insurer didn't stop in a traffic jam and rear ended the car in front of her doing 65 miles an hour when all traffic was stopped.

      Zurich is a ripoff, they say I'm covered and when it comes to pay the bill they have another story. I paid over $3500.00 for bumper to bumper coverage and now they won't pay for a key fob repair

      VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACTS ' ( ie Standard coverage)i recently purchased a used SUV ( from a reputable dealer) and the dealership also sold me the "extended warranty " on my SUV. via ZURICH. in my excitement of my purchase i agreed and thought by having the extended warranty was the icing on the cake sort of speak. ie added security to me buying used. well a week into my purchase the power seat of my SUV went out. ie moves fwd but not back. i called zurich to make sure that i was covered for my power seat. and the agent on the phone assured me of my power seat is covered! great i thought. took my vehicle to the shop and low and behold .....my coverage was DENIED. little did i expect that power seat motor coverage did not include the SWITCH that operates the **** motor. WHY is one component covered but not the other. THIS IS BS. one cannot operate without the other. if my claim was UNREASONABLE one could understand being denied. but a dang SWITCH. why would you sell me the motor and not the switch to operate the dang motor. I'm not sure how the law sees this practice but in my opinion this is right up there with deceptive trade practice PARTIAL COVERAGE is no coverage. if the "PART " is not listed on the Contract" which i was sold as an extended warranty ...the PART is not covered. THAT JUST LIKE SAYING THE ***** IS COVERED BUT NOT THE ***** THIS PRACTICE NEEDS TO BE STOPED ASAP! WHEN SELLING YOU THIS COVERAGE THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS IS A SPECIFIC PART COVERAGE. i can get my motor fixed but i cant get my seals or gaskets repaired.....GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK ASAP
