    I had paid a deposit of $1,000 to Chicago Liposuction for a procedure that I had to cancel due to further complications of a tummy tuck that need to be addressed first. *********************** told me that my deposit was 100% refundable if I changed my mind. I first notified ***** on April 7th of my cancellation and desire to have my deposit refunded. She told me no problem and that she would get the process started. I have since spoken to *******, the billing department 2 times, and most recently I spoke to ******* at Chicago Lipo on 5/30/23 regarding my refund. All have promised that it would be processed. ******* promised to look into it and get back to me, however, she has yet to return my calls. To date, I have not received a refund or any callbacks. Im very disappointed with the way this has been mishandled and would like to ask you to step in and process the refund.

    On April 7, 2023, I consulted with Chicago Liposuction (CL) for a procedure. During the consultation, I was offered the option for financing which was approved by the consultant verbally however, I questioned if there was a cancellation option if I changed my mind and did not go ahead with the procedure. The consultant said it was very easy and I could cancel and the full refund of the service not rendered would be an easy process. After reading through all the materials on what to expect from the procedure, I reconsidered so, on April 10, I contacted the provider to advise them of my decision to cancel and they confirmed they would send through the refund paperwork, their accounting team would send documents stating that no service was provided and be resolved in 30 days. By May 2, I had not heard back, though I received a billing statement from the financing partner - Comenity for a minimum payment. I went into action, by calling CL, emailing, calling again, getting on a call with Comenity and attempting to resolve myself. Not until May 3, was an attachment sent to me from CL showing that they were preparing a Refund request - but Comenity said nothing had been sent to them.I raised a dispute with Comenity and they were sending out paperwork to CL to confirm the dispute was valid. I also sent emails and letters to Comenity, all with proof that CL had not carried out any services and they had promised to confirm the credit account would be refunded and I would not be held financially responsible.On May 12, CL emailed to confirm that the refund was scheduled to be processed on May 24 (4 days after the minimum payment was due) and in calling Comenity on May 19, they told me the dispute was closed, they still had not received info from CL and I still owed the full $5500.I have been totally scammed and Chicago Liposuction needs to contact Comenity TODAY to close this matter - no more delays. No financial commitment to me and no more time spent on this by me.

    I contacted my credit card company, and the charge back funds are temporary until 8/6/23 per ****** guidelines.  *********** has been aware that a refund should have been issued since March 2023.  Their failure to provide the refund in a timely manner is the reason why I do not trust that some loophole does not exist that will allow **** to refund to the merchant prior to the charge back becoming permanent.  This case needs to remain open until the funds cannot be returned and becomes a permanent credit.  Please see the email I submitted with this communication from my credit card company.

    I wish I would have listened to the warnings about this place. I never signed a single document and they refuse to return my money. I had to cancel due to a car accident and on top of having to deal with that, I now have to do the run around because of this. The receptionists say they will pass on messages or return calls and never do. They also say you have to fill out the refund paperwork but avoid gathering the necessary documents. When I talked to ****** about my refund, she told me I had to contact my financial institution, who then told me they needed information from the retailer. They said they dont have enough information but there is nothing to show because I never signed anything. This company is a scam - stay away!

    Spoke to *********************************** today and she received her money back from her bank 2 weeks ago and has filed a dispute with the finance company which is the best way to handle so her credit history wouldn't be affected negatively. When we have a cancellation we make it very clear that our accounting department has a policy that refunds take up to 30 business days to be handled. We never keep funds from patients that do not have services with us. We have a contract with our finance companies and card processing terminals that all monies will be refunded to patient's that haven't had services rendered.

    First off there is zero information about their doctor anywhere on the website. Who knows if this guy is board certified, I'm guessing not by the way he left me. I got a deal from employee to do lipo 360 with arms an saddle bags for $7000. Agreed to that but then got a call days later to confirm appointment and to let me know that the deal I was given wasn't valid because the employee no longer worked there. Changed to 3 areas for same price. Never had an in person consultation, only over the phone which was just regarding the places I wanted done, no questions were asked about my health. Day of surgery the surgen seem to be in a rush. He saw that i had a umbilical hernia and did the lipo anyway( spoke to some professionals and they said that could be a form of malpractice and dangerous) I had complained about pain several times during procedure which was suppose to be numbed. Day after procedure I noticed deform body right away. I was left with several dips, valleys lumps and tightness in skin. I told an employee there of my concerns and they said to me that it looked deformed cause I needed to massage areas. Which made no sense cause you can't "massage" fat back into the body. Then they told me I had to wait a year for them to "do anything about it" and that they would "take care" of me. A year later when I brought up the fact that I think they should fix what they did to me that said I had to pay again for them to fix it. I asked to speak to manager and never received a call from them. I called them several times and not once did anyone of management contacted me. And then never heard back from them. I am left with the same deformities I saw from the beginning and nothing has changed, even with the constant massaging. I now have extreme depression anxiety and mental health issues over this. I am left with a dip into right thigh, lumps on left thigh, a dip into my left arm, lumps on both arms, lumps on stomach area, dip in right hip, ¬ all Saddle bags removed.

    I scheduled a procedure with them, then I canceled within 24 hours. This company said it would take 30 days to refund my money. They were able to take the amount of $2,500 over the phone with zero issues on Feb. 27. It has been 30 days since I canceled the procedure, and they have NOT refunded me. I had to call back several times just to cancel and request a refund. They make it VERY difficult to get your money back. I have no contract or receipt. They took my money and provided NO receipt, nothing!

    I signed a contract on Dec 8th 2022 to get Liposuction for the cost of $******. I had 7 days to cancel for a full refund. ***** stated that I had to pay the full $****** up front to secure a date and pricing, so I paid $3000 in Credit card, $5000 on debit and $2000 Zelle to get all ****** to her within 24 hours. After full payment, I met with the Doctor that following Saturday Dec 10th to get more information regarding the surgery. (After sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours). After the consult, I spoke with my primary doctor and it was recommended that I cancel due to health reasons. So I called and cancelled the procedure within 3 days on Dec 10th, well within the 7 days cancellation period. they told me it would take up to 30 days to get a refund. Jan 10th, passed. I called, emailed, texted, finally got ***** who told me my refund was processed on Jan 9th, but it could take another 30 days. Feb 9th had passed and still NO refund. I called and pursued the front office, they referred me to a ***** who was not longer working with the company. Then I finally got a hold of ******* on Feb 14th, who said she would take care of it. They refunded the $3000 that was on the credit card, but it is now Feb 27th and I am still waiting for the remaining $7000.00. I have tried being nice, patient and willing to come in to pick up a check, but they are avoiding my calls, my emails and my efforts to get my money back. It is pure theft at this point. I would like to request help to get my money refunded for services NOT rendered full within my legal right to cancel and I have granted them their full 60 days (per ******** law) to process the refund. But it is going on 70 days and they are not working with me to refund my money. I need help. Hoping the BBB can help prior to hiring counsel. I can send all my emails and texts as evidence if needed.     It took 64 days to get the $10,000 refunded. My advise is to not pay them until you are 100% sure you are willing and able to go through the services.

    Have water lipo suction last Spring. Since the procedure, I have been seen in the office once by an RN. I requested to see the physician and he was not available. How is the nurse able to evaluate after a procedure if the procedure was done correctly? Shouldn't the surgeon be the only one to be able to evaluate after a procedure is done? This was the most painful experience I have ever had, very minimal pain medications received for the procedure and they do not put you under. I was in tears throughout the procedure. I still am having issues after the procedure, hard lumps all over my abdomen, and the RN states this is normal. 'I am almost a year out from the procedure and the last time I talked to the RN, they stated I could have the hard lumps for unknown amount of time. They suggest to wear the compression garment all hours of the day even now, even though is says otherwise in the post procedure documents that you can take it off. I would never have had this procedure done if I knew my body would look like this

    I scheduled an appointment to have a cosmetic procedure done with this business for 11/14/22, but cancelled it in the last week of October because I was not medically approved for it. I had already paid in full for the procedure though, which was an obvious red flag that I ignored because I was so desperate for the operation. I was told specifically that my refund was initiated on 11/4 and should be expected to be delivered ON 12/16. Unsurprisingly, I have not received my refund. I have called their office incessantly. It's hard to tell their voices apart, but I know that I spoke with each person multiple times as I called probably 30 times total. It was a circus of being put on hold and transferred from one person who had no idea what they were doing to the next. After maybe ten calls, I was finally put on the line with someone who was allegedly the ****** She took my name, number, and debit card number again and told me that right then and there she'd be refunding my money. She even gave me her personal cell phone number. When a week passed and still no refund, I called back. She didn't answer, but texted asking, "what did your bank say?". I told her the obvious answer that they just didn't have the money, and she stopped responding and hasn't since. Today, a full two months since the supposed initiation of my refund, I called again to let them know that I have contacted a lawyer. I said, "I have contacted a lawyer, but it is not too late for you to just give me my money back" As soon as I said this, I was cut off with, "Okay I'm going to stop you right there. Since you have told us that you are seeking legal counsel, we can no longer speak to you about this." I insisted that I just wanted my money back and she sarcastically replied, "have a nice day" and hung up. I'm furious. I have clearly been lied to several times by this joke of a business. I want my money back. I want them shut down/ out of a job. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
