I booked a procedure on 29 June 2023 and my credit card was charged immediately $5,500.00USD. The procedure was scheduled on 11 September 2023. Due to medical issues that occurred after 29 June 2023, I decided to cancel the procedure. I called multiple times but nobody helped me there. Finally, on 8 August 2023, I spoke to a surgical scheduler who was not pleased to hear about my cancelation. She informed me that my refund will be issued after 90 days. I checked the policy of the refund and there is no such a thing. I need the full refund to be issued back to my credit card in a reasonable time.Business Response

On June 12, 2023 I spoke with ****** and scheduled a procedure for later in that same week. She was super quick to offer me a deal and get me to open a credit account. After I hung up I called right back and canceled. ****** told me and textedme, in whichI have proof of, that it was canceled and I would get a full refund in 30 days ($7,000). It's been going on for almost 2 months and ******* is harassing me withcalls and billing statements although I have explained this to them. I will also file a complaint about them. They are aware of many of these situations and they continue to allow this company to use their business. Chicago Liposuctionis giving me the run around on refunding my money. I wish I had read the reviews on Chicago Liposuction. I have called continuously and keep getting the run around. The accounting department is not available, EVER! Each time I am directed to another place. So unprofessional and what a SCAM! I text thecontact person as well with NO RESOLUTION. I hope if anyone is reading this prior to surgery they change their mind because a bussing who scams people really should not be a choicein porformingon your body. As for the staff who are part of this scam, you are messing with people's money andcausing stress on people's lives. How is anyone ok with that? Typically when financing is used but services aren't rendered then the financing should be disputed through the creditor so that all late fees and any and all derogatory remarks can be cleared. I am rejecting this response because:On 08/04/2023 Chicago Liposuction responded to complaint #******** saying that I will have a full refund on 08/18. Today is 08/24, I do not have a full refund. Bill collector is constantly calling me. I also filed a dispute with them. The only communication I have received from Chicago Liposuction since 08/04 was on 08/10 from ****** asking me if I want to hear about "new promotions''. When I responded to her that I still have not received my refund, she never responded. I have also attached the screenshot of text messages I have received from ****** (staff from Chicago Liposuction) stating that I will be fully refunded on 08/18. This is so frustrating. It's not right! How do they get away with doing this to so many people?

What kind of business are you running where tons and tons of people are filing complaints similar to this one. I was told I would get refunded in 30 days. Its now been 3 months, and still no refund. This is stressful to say the lease and your company just gives people the run around.

I made an appointment with this business. I was told I needed to put a minimum payment is $1000 down on my account to hold the amount they were charging me for. This amount was put on my personal credit card. I cancelled my appointment about a year ago. I have tried calling and emailing this business multiple times. It has been nearly a year and they still have yet to refund me my $1000 on my credit card, which I am being charged interest on.No one gets back to me, emails me back or calls me back.Business Response

This business only cares about fraudulently collecting customer's money. SERVICES WERE NEVER SCHEDULED NOR RENDERED!! Friday 4/7/23 I spoke with ****** at ********************** Lipo regarding their services * how much I would pre-qualify for if I financed through them. She was pushy * tried to pressure me into opening a credit account, which I was extremely hesitant to begin with. She proceeded to tell me if I dont open the account to secure payment, I will lose all promotions. I told her I would think about it * get back to her that following Monday, 4/10/23. Saturday, 4/8/23 ****** submitted a credit app without my permission * billed me $6500 for a service that was never scheduled! I never signed documents nor got paperwork. ****** called * textedme Monday, 4/10/23 to verify a ******************** a date. I told her... DO NOT submit financing app. I'm not interested at this time . She told me she already approved * charged me $6500 so I will get billed for it. I told her what she did was fraud without my consent. Not only do I have a fraudulent credit account opened by them, I also accrued interest charges.****** then told me she will cancel the service. I asked for the name of the creditor. I had a bad feeling the charges would not be refunded. ****** told me she submitted ************** through Alpheon Credit. 4/11/23 I called Alpheon Credit to rectify * dispute the charge for services never rendered. I was under the assumption this would take care of the situation. 5/10/23 I followed up with ****** at ********************** Lipo through text to make sure they sent the full refund back to Alphaeon. I asked her for a confirmation number. She couldn't provide me with one * directed me to call the office at ************ opt. 2 * said it would take 2 weeks, up to 30 days for the refund to credit back to Alphaeon. 6/30/23 I got a call from ******* Rep for a past due bill with a balance of $6,744.38. Alphaeon Rep told me I had to contact the clinic * request they send the refund back to Alphaeon. I did a 3 way call with Alpheon Credit Rep * ********************** **************** to get this rectified. ******* told me the refund was submitted to their accounting ***** on 4/11/23 by their surgical assistant. She's not sure why accounting has not refunded Alphaeon. She put me on hold. I waited for an hr!! ***** came back on the line * told me I needed to speak with ****** in Accounting. How unfortunate that ****** was out of the office * won't be back until after the July 4th holiday. She gave him the message to call me back. 7/13/23 I have not heard from the clinic so I called * asked for ****** - accounting. I spoke with *****- front desk again. ****** was conveniently out sick * he might return on Monday. I asked to speak with higher authority but they are ALL conveniently not available. 7/18/23 At noon I called the clinic again to speak with accounting. I spoke with *****- front desk *********** informed me ****** is in but not available since he's on another call. I told her I will hold all day if I have to. ***** placed me on hold to see if anyone else was available.I told ************'m looking for is a confirmation # that Alphaeon was refunded the full amount. I asked if their office could give me a courtesy call back. Never got a call back. On March 29th I had an over the phone consultation about possibly getting lipo at Chicago Liposuction. The woman I spoke with was named ******, with two T's, and she seemed very eager lock in a date for me to have the procedure done. She kept pushing that I paid in full, which was 8k, and I would receive $500 off. I quickly declined that offer since I wasn't fully set on my decision nor did I even consult with the doctor first. ****** told me that there was limited availability and if I wanted it, I needed to put a $500 deposit down. She then reassured me that if for ANY reason I wanted to cancel, I would get fully refunded. I booked my appointment for April 29th, 2023 and went through with my $500 deposit on one of my credit cards. (picture attached) March 31st, 2023 i sent a text to ****** if the doctor needed to see me before the procedure. She said "Dr does need to see some patients depending on the procedure, but he won't need to see you...." immediately after I received that message I knew I made a huge mistake. From March 31st, 2023- April 12th, 2023, ****** not only was trying to pressure me into paying in full but she called me countless of times trying to get me to move my appointment up. She then without my consent, on April 12th, 2023, moved my appointment to the 26th of April 2023 after I already told her countless times I was still thinking about it. She told me I would get $1000 off If I hurried and took the newly assigned appointment. To me, this sounded pathetic and an absolute scam. on APRIL 17th, 2023 I unfortunately had a family emergency and was no longer able to get the procedure done. Which in my case, turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I texted her this information and she sent back that she would " submit my refund request and it takes 30 business day" (attached picture) today is JULY 18TH, 2023. This company is giving me the run around on refunding my money. I should've headed the reviews on how this company acts regarding your refund. Foolish of me. I requested a refund on 5/1/23 because I found a better surgeon. To date, 7/12/23, I have not received my money back. I have called continuously and keep getting the run around. They play this game that the accounting department is not available, EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL! They gave me the HR Manager number which leads right back to the front desk! I text her as well with NO RESOLUTION. To add icing while expressing my frustration, they HUNG UP ON ME. Don't do business with a company that treats ppl like this. I placed a deposit of $500.00 on 02/21/23 for a procedure. 2 weeks later I found out I had cancer and needed to cancel surgery for health reasons. Immediately I contacted the office to let them know I would no longer be going through with the procedure and put a request for my deposit refund. Ive called several times approximately 10 times and left several messages with the receptionist named *****. *** tried getting a hold of ******************************* the service coordinator that scheduled and took my deposit and shes lacked basic communication with me. Not once have I received a call back after leaving many messages requesting an update on my refund. I called May and I was told I would get my refund June 23, 2023 and that was false because I have not gotten it back. The communication and professionalism from this office is absolutely terrible. As of May 30, 2023, I had scheduled my procedure for June 10, 2023, at Chicago Liposuction. Unfortunately, my father passed away that week. I called the clinic on June 7th to inform them that i was canceling my appointment and my procedure. I have spoken with ******* and ****** about me cancelling my procedure. They tried to convince me not to. I explained to them that I'm not in state of mind that I wanted them to cancel. They responded sure no problem. And that moment I called ****************** and explained to them that I had cancelled my procedure. According to them it will be cancel. However, Chicago Liposuction never called to confirmed that I did not have the procedure. I called the clinic several times no one from accounting is returning my call. There is no communication between the clinic and the financial company. I called the corporate ****** of ******** I was told that I needed to wait 30 days. I file for a dispute, and I was told as well by the finance that there is nothing, they can do but wait 30 days. Neither Chicago Liposuction nor ******** refuse to call each other about the cancellation. Now I'm being billed as of July 20th they expect me to pay $207.00 for something i did not have done. I'm overwhelmed and stress with everything going on in personal life. ****************** is a great company I'm planning to use them in the future for my procedure but I would like for Chicago Liposuction to please do there job and correct this. On 2/19/23, Chicago Liposuction charged my credit account $5,200 as a ***************** towards a procedure that I had scheduled for the last week of July 2023. Due to a plethora of unforeseen health problems, I called them on 5/2/23 and explained my health issues, canceled my appointment and requested a refund. They said they would call me back that day but no one called back. On 5/5/23, I followed up by both email and text message explaining the same. The email was not responded to but they responded via text and said they would submit the refund request and it would take 30 business days. 30 business days from the date of my initial refund request was 6/13/23. On 6/9/23, I followed up by text but no response. Instead on 6/12/23, they disregarded my question and asked if I was interested in hearing about current promos; I responded no and requested yet another update (which again went without any response). On 6/12/23, I called and had to tell the issue to 2-3 different people and was put on hold for 30 minutes before someone said they would look into it and call me back that day or no later than the next day. Since I did not receive a call back, I called end of day 6/13/23 and was told the person was in a meeting and would call me back. 6/14/23 I followed up by text and noted the lack of communication and failed promises to return calls and demanded refund again with no response. 6/15/23 I followed up by email re the same. I spoke to ******* today and let her know that the process for a refund when using financing was to dispute the charge with the financing company so that the account would be credited and not have a negative affect on their credit. She said that she had called the financing company and was told that she couldn't dispute the charge because it was charged over 60 days ago. I let her know that is not true and that I would have our owner reach out to the financing company to verify. I also let her know that I would be reaching back out to her when I had an update. She is aware that the number that I called from is my work cell and she is welcome to call or text it anytime for a status.
