It is impossible to get a strait answer from tribune customer service when you have been over charged. The call center I am guessing is in *************** and you get a different excuses every time you call. It is the most unprofessional interactions I have ever had with a company that I do business with. Steer clear! I only gave one star because you are unable to leave zero.

I cancelled my subscription on-line. The amount due on my account *********** was ZERO. Great! But the paper kept coming. Went on-line to double check. Amount due? ZERO. And there is no way to contact the Tribune on-line. Phoned them. The man said that he will contact delivery and oh by the way, I owe $*****. No, my balance says ZERO on-line. He said that it took a while to cancel my account, and so now I owe *****. I get nowhere with him on this. Tribune then sends me a bill on 6/29/2023 for *****. which is due upon receipt. I go back on-line to check my account? Zero balance. Then, on 7/25/23 a collections company, sends me a bill for this, plus an additional **** on top of that. And to be clear, I went on-line and again, my balance is ZERO. I am at a loss at what to do? I shouldn't have to pay this, although it would be cheaper than bringing this to our attorney's attention. I need help with this.************

The details of these premium issues are included on our disclaimers reflected on all our billing statements and coorespondance. I have called four times over the past year and emailed once, that was "undeliverable" using the exact address on the sleeve of the Inside Shopper ad. Insideshopper@t******com I cannot get them to STOP DELIVERING the weekly advertisement. It is a red flag to burglars letting them know we're not home. What, for the love of all that is worthy, do we have to do to get them to STOP?

They never send bills, and just charge you whatever they feel like. Why Can you sign up online, but have to call to cancel. When you call to cancel they offer you a new promo, but then dont honor the promo. Im fine with cancelling, dont offer bogus promos if youre not going to honor. Dont lie to your consumers.

No paper received . I signed up three different times with a promise for a paper. I do not want digital access. When you call to report a missing paper it is an automated call center and no paper is ever delivered. When I called to cancel I was told I could not cancel till my subscription ran out. it is very disappointing.

The Tribune has a terrible price transparency problem. Very hard to figure out when the period you're paying for starts and stops. They wrote about "special pricing" automatically deducted for special issues (what special issues?). I called and got a lower rate but when I asked for online only they quoted a higher price. They couldn't say how long this pricing would last. Can barely understand customer service. I might as well subscribe to New ********** since they are copying NYT and AP stories. Shabby newspaper, shabby customer service.

I am not a customer of the ************************ have a problem in that the Chicago Tribune keeps delivering papers to the address of the house I bought more than a month ago. The previous owner has stated that he cancelled the paper. I have called numerous times to stop the unwanted papers from piling up and am assured the request is handled. Still - a paper every morning. I have emailed the customer support email address several times - still no help. This is wasteful. I am not and never will be subscriber. STOP delivering unwanted papers.

I was sent bill for $324 for 8 weeks. I called them and changed it to Sunday only for $78 for 13 weeks, While on the phone, they made it sound that they were cancelling the $324 on the date that I called and that I would instead be charged the $78 on my billing date. They made me wait while they did this. This was a week prior to the billing date. In fact, they had post dated the change until the week after the billing so that I was still changed the full $324. When I called back, they said the $324 would extend my Sunday only subscription for a about a year.

Last bill from Chicago Tribune was for $196 for 8 weeks of service including Wed-Thu-Fri-Sun papers (4 papers per week). This amounts to over $6 per paper.

I just received a renewal that I'm being charged $324 for 56 days of home delivery and digital. That is $5.78 a day! I tried calling the customer service number to cancel but have to call back tomorroww! I'm sure no one will be in tomorrow since it's Sunday, Monday is Memorial Day and they'll charge me "approximately on May 31st" This is crazy
