      Just stay away from here. I worked with the office in PA. They run your personal information, collect personal information and do not fulfill their credit agreement for “system errors”. Total joke, hit of credit report for nothing, they hunt you down and they don’t assist. I had a divorce, no longer two last names. They approved me but failed to provide funds? Try ******* *** ONE MAIN FINANCIAL IS A FINANCIAL SCAM.

      My fiancé and I have a loan with One Main. We called 24 hours before our payment was due to change our payment date from July 4,2025 to July 30,2025. We received an email confirming the date was changed!! We checked our account on July 3, 2025 and One Main took a payment causing our account to be short for my other bills that are coming out. They said that basically there is nothing that they can do. So I have to figure out a way to fix their screw up. I even have the employee at One Main admitting to fault but there’s nothing they can do until the payment is processed! It’s pending and has been taken out of my balance and my other bills are going to get kicked back but who
      cares?!? DEFINITELY NOT ONE MAIN STEALING FROM THEIR CLIENTS AFTER I HAVE WRITTEN AGREEMENT THAT THEY WERE NOT TO WITHDRAW MONEY FROM OUR ACCOUNT UNTIL JULY 30, 2025!

      Total disappointment. I had to go through hoops just to get a $4,000 loan. Submitted all required documents then I was told the application had expired.. I had to start all over again which meant another hard inquiry was applied to my credit. Then everything was looking hopeful only to get to sign off to see the loan go from 22 percent to 35.99 percent. Needless to say, I didn't move forward with the loan at that OUTRAGEOUS percent.
      Total waste of time and total disappointment!!!!
      Now I have 2 hard inquiries on my credit for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!
      If I could give a zero star, I would. Very misleading!

      I was approved initially for 14K. I submitted all my intimate income info as well as other private documents. I was given two options, an unsecured 14k loan or secured 20k loan. I was at the branch today to sign paperwork and was being strongly encouraged to select the secured loan. I stated I wanted to do the unsecured. "All of the sudden" while sitting there I was denied the 14k loan (,it stopped to 4k at a huge interest rate) so my only option was the secured loan. So let me understand, you'll loan me 16k more secured? I felt like something was done internally at the branch to void the loan I was leaning towards. The manager sits at a desk watching and approving everything entered in the system, I'm certain they can change info. My application has been approved for a week with my checks and income information which was supposed to be verified. It makes zero sense they would suddenly verify my income again (they can see I earn over 6 figures the last several years) and then reduce my unsecured loan. A google search confirms this is a common enough complaint, a bait and switch over amounts and secure vs unsecured . Banks and credit cards don't pull this, the amount approved is the approved amount. Also, I have had a prior loan I paid off. I deserve better consideration than what was given. Nothing short of a "we found a glitch" and the original loan amount reinstated would make me reconsider doing business with them.
