I have been a customer for many years with Main. Last year my hrs. at work had been less due to lack of business. I called Main office to see if we could figure out , maybe refinance my loan. If I could pay less per month ,I understood that it would take me longer to pay off loan by doing this. But I had been told that your company doesn't do that. (refinance) I struggle to make payments, when I could not ,I always contacted your office to let them know. But I always made a payment at least once a month. My loan amount would never go down because of the interest when I was doing this.
Finally I called the main (Main Office) & was told this could be done, (change the payment amount monthly). They called the office where I go, then I was asked to come in so we could make the changes. I lost sooooo much money due to the misinformation that was given to me by the people in your office . I had ask repeatedly for a year if I could make the changes.
Finally last month we were able to do a new contract so I would be able to make the payments without being delinquent due to the fact that I have a lower income now. I lost a great amount of money that could have been going to the loan because the people in your office that either don't know what they are doing, or are misinformed. Very unprofessional. One employee there has also been very rude. He talks down to people, seems to carry his personal problems with him & always seems to be in a hurry & upset. He was also the one who said I could not refinance the loan. I think I should be composited for giving me the wrong information which cost me a lot of money when this could have been taken care of alot sooner, a year ago. I never avoided talking to & always kept in touch with Main determined to pay off the loan.
Unfortunately in good consicion I can't give a good recommendation to anyone about your company at this point.OneMain Financial Group, LLC

BUYER BEWARE!!!! This company is nothing but a scam!! We unfortunately had a couple of loans with this company. One was paid off in 2024. We sent in the full pay off for the second account on May 28th 2025. The company recieved the payment and the check was cashed on 4 June 2025. We are STILL waiting for the money to be credited to our account 3 weeks later and they have put late fees on the account even though they cashed the check! They claim they can't find the money after the check was cashed. We spend all day on the phone with them arguing and they give us the run around and refuse to credit the account, even after proof the check was cashed. We seriously regret doing business with this company and will never step foot in their door again.OneMain Financial Group, LLC

Fast friendly I try to get some information for sure help me out of a bind. I can only give me $1000 but it’s better than nothing when everybody else turned me down. I recommend them to hardly anybody sick fast long.OneMain Financial Group, LLC
