      Lets start by if I can give this company negative stars I would! A booked my reservation thru Priceline and my total was supposed to be $99.78 with taxes and fees and unlimited milage. I get there to pick up my rental and the "manager Lucky" tells me I can not get unlimited miles because I'm a ***** resident. OK, no problem, I didn't read that in their policy. Fast forward to me returning the car, I get an invoice for $223.76. I go to the counter and was told I had to speak to the manger Lucky but he was not there and they could not help me with any questions nor concerns. Next day, I go ahead and call Lucky and he basically dismissed me and my questions. I was told Id get a refund for the gas and the roadside assistance since my credit card covered it and the car was returned with a full tank the same way it was given to me. I waited and nothing was refunded. I call a second time and Lucky answers again me wanting answers to my questions and concerns tells me that the taxes Priceline charges me for the rental also have taxes that I need to pay, and that no one told me to return the car with a full tank. He told me to email the billing company and talk to them. I have never received such rude and cruel customer service in all my years of life. No other company that I've rented from before has overcharged me or double charge me for fees that are already covered in the reservation. This company is horrible and are thieves. Lucky needs to learn to speak to people and have wayyyy better customer service skills. I think they need a whole new manger because he *****.

      The representatives are misleading, he sold us insurance that we already purchase and didn't need!! Then the supposed customer service representative at that location acted as if it was our fault? The opposite of customer service, purely looking out for what's best for their bottom line. Not the customer. What a joke, good to know that's how this company treats vets and first responders. Will be discouraging every connection I have from using ACE.

Third Party and Credit Card companies can only offer Collision Coverage to their customers.       DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!! The worst rental company I've ever used. I was scheduled to take a Royal Caribbean cruise from ***************, so I arrived a few days early and rented a car from Ace. I was returning my car and didnt realize that I had left my wallet in the arm rest. My wallet had $1900 cash, identification, and nine credit cards. So, I dropped off my rental car at Ace's dropoff at the airport. While in a taxi for less than 10 minutes I realized that I had left my wallet in the rental, so I called them immediately to let them know that I had left my wallet with cash in the vehicle. I turned around immediately and went back to the airport - this whole time was not more than 20minute- to get my wallet. When I arrived the rental car I dropped off had been taken and my wallet STOLEN. This horrible incident of theft caused me to be unable to go on my cruise because I didn't have any identification because it was all in my wallet. Not to mention, I was stranded in another state without cash, credit or identification- a complete nightmare. So, an employee stole my wallet, $1900 in cash, all of identification and nine credit cards which PREVENTED me from taking my cruise which cost over $5000. The worst part of it all was there lack of accountability or empathy.

      Never rent from ACE Rent a Car!! Picking up my car was fine, but they never gave me a rental agreement until I returned the car. I later learned that a spouse as a driver is an added charge which I was not told at pick up. We leave and all seems fine, for us to later experience that the car randomly would not start. I tried calling someone while I had the rental to sit on hold for over an hour each time with no one coming to the phone. I reported the mechanical issues when I took the car back and they tried to offer me a 10% discount on a future rental Why on earth they would think I would rent form them again, is beyond me. They are a RIP OFF!! I will spend the extra money with Budget so I can ensure my car is going to run right and that they provide me all the information UP FRONT!!!

      After looking further into this matter, we can see that you have contacted Corporate to open up an investigate. Our agent informed you that they reviewed it with the location and our terms and conditions online are clear: All additional drivers are subject to a $12.99 per day, per driver Additional Driver fee. Spouses are considered additional drivers and are subject to fees. They did also offer a future discount due to the mechanical issues. At this time, all charges are valid, and no refunds will be issued.

      This rental company is a joke. Stay away at all costs. Their car battery died 2 x in 3 days and Im stuck on the highway and the offer no help. And Im about to miss my flight and still no help offered. Not their problemDO NOT RENT FROM ACE. ************************************.

      Total bait and switch scam, I was charged $300 more than the original "Total amount". **************** never reached back out to me about multiple charges that were added. The employee at the store lied right to my face. Basically robbed me. I will use Enterprise or a more reputable company from now on. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS trust me.

      Rented a car from *** for a business trip. When I got in to pick my car up it was late at night after traveling all day. ****** at the desk asked me if I had insurance, and I said my company has rental insurance and instructs out of town employees to not pay for insurance. The man told me I couldn't rent a car unless I provided insurance information. Keep in mind this was late on a work night and I had no information on the insurance to provide him, with no way to get it, because I've never needed it since rental insurance is OPTIONAL.Not wanting to get stranded late on a Monday without a car after being told "I can't give you a car unless you have insurance" they pressured me into paying for their insurance. Which I did just to get the car and get out of there since I was exhausted. After reaching out to my company's HR they asked me to reach out to ACE to lodge a complaint over being forced to get insurance when I shouldn't have had to and to see if I could get a refund. I did, and eventually their "customer support" (lol) told me they would not be refunding because they require insurance from renters per their Terms and Conditions so the charge was accurate. I re-reviewed the T&Cs and behold, it only says renters outside the ** or who are local are required to provide insurance; neither applied to me. When I responded and pointed this out they stopped responding and never got back to me. They're scammers and will use underhanded methods to squeeze money - and won't admit they were wrong even when presented with proof from their OWN WEBSITE.Also, on my rental receipt, it shows I signed for a $12.99 daily toll fee (which I did) but was charged $13.99 a day. When I pointed this out they also said I was "charged appropriately" but wouldn't acknowledge or address that what they present to you at checkout - and what you sign for - says one amount but they charge you a different amount. Terrible company and I've made sure no one traveling for my company uses them.

      We found Ace through Priceline. The website said it would cost an estimated $42 for our 2-day trip to *******. It cost us an extra $200. They charged us for insurance we didn't want or need, and they didn't give us a choice if we want it. When we called them to question the charge, they were extremely nasty and wouldn't help and simply hung up. We ended up disputing but lost the dispute, since *** claimed we signed the documents. I wouldn't recommend Ace to anyone; their customer service is garbage and their charges are fictitious. Whoever heard of a mileage charge? We drove a mere 150 miles with the car and got charged a mileage fee. They charged us a flat $35 fee for tolls, when the cost of the tolls was about $5. These people are a bunch of crooks and no one should ever use them.

It does not include the refundable security deposit and additional add-ons like insurance (if needed), toll pass, pre-paid fuel, etc. After looking further into your reservation, we can see that you did not provide your own full coverage insurance at the time of pick up, which is a requirement to have to rent our vehicles, and you added a toll pass to your vehicle. These additional add-ons are not included with the base price of the vehicle by itself.       That is inaccurate. I was never informed I was getting charged for insurance. Your agent simply asked me I planned on travelling out of state and I said no. The word insurance wasn't mentioned and why would I pay for insurance if I had? As far as tolls are concerned, the agent told us they take care of that. i never dreamt I would be charged a $35 toll fee for a few dollars worth of tolls. I thought the car rental is charged for the tolls and they pass it on to the customer who reimburses them - which was the case last time I rented a car. It makes no sense to charge me a mileage fee - how do you drive a car without driving miles in it? What else is the rental for?! You refused to help me when I called, so I felt compelled to post my experience in a public forum in the hopes that others will read it and not get stuck with a bunch of crooks the way I was.

      Ace Care Rental in ****** is the WORST possible choice is if you are going to need an airport rental. And just BEWARE, their Insurance that they will require will not even cover your damage to another car. I know, I am the owner of the other car. Matter of fact, ACE does not even have insurance - they say they are 'self-insured'. Please check out all the reviews about ACE RENTALS. They seem to have someone employed to follow up on bad reviews with the "we care, please contact customercare..). Then they follow this by writing a good review under an assumed name. Believe me, I've tried customer care. ****. No knowledge. Etc.OR..GO WITH ACE RENTALS and RUIN YOUR COLORADO VACATION. You were warned.

      Oh, I have contacted your 'alternative claims' department....Only for them to not follow up. 3 weeks later, I am now still dealing with this, with your people still dragging their feet, and trying to get out of covering MY rental compensation - funny, since you are a rental company with nothing available, and needing Enterprise, a respected company to pick up your slack. Please respond to this - I'll be happy to elaborate. Have a nice day.

      Horrible experience. We found ace through *********** and thought we had found an affordable rental car service. Upon picking up our car, ACE had added about $150 extra to our bill. We asked them to please remove any extra insurance, which they agreed to. When we returned the car on Sunday, they said they could not remove the insurance charge and I could try to dispute over email. Besides not getting our money refunded, the staff was rude and unhelpful and the car itself was in poor condition. The car was in perfect condition on the outside, but stained and very worn on the inside. This wouldnt have been an issue if it was as cheap as we originally thought, however, with the extra charges bringing our total cost up to about $350 for 3 days, this was horrible. Do not rent from here.

      I understand that, its that we asked for it to be removed and the woman helping us agreed to take it off, but then it was added back on upon returning our car. When we reminded them of this conversation, they denied our request. Terrible customer service. I have already corresponded with your team via email and they would not refund us, they only said we could have a voucher for rent a car again, which means nothing because I will never use you again.
