  If you are a small business Do NOT go with Angi !!! They hounded us for weeks to sign up on Angi ads. They insured us that we would receive ***** leads a month for $400.00 per month and that those leads were screened and were "serious home owners, who wanted/needed to have work done."None of this has been true!!!If we do get 10 leads 9 out of 10 of them either do not answer your calls or reply to your texts or emails and if they do they are just shopping around. ( We respond right away so that's not the issue. We follow up later even still no answers or responses) We have done everything correctly we have plenty of 5 star reviews that are our clients before Angi . . . Our site is professional and I was told by my Angi "Success Manager" that that my site was on point and there was nothing he would change (So that isn't the issue).To be honest it seems that the "leads" I have received are not real and I feel completely SCAMMED!!! To make matters even more sketchy there is no management or anyone to talk to outside of your "Success Manager" who talks you in circles tells you that they will file a grievance about the lie's you were told to sign the contract and they will get back to you. Well it's been over 6 weeks and my account is going to be charged again and NO ONE has gotten back to me!!!! So to Sum it up if you want to be ran in circles, lied too, and your money Stolen then sure go with Angi !!! I am about to start Calling Lawyers and look into filling a lawsuit about the misleading and pressure tactics Angi uses to "Lawfully" Steal contractor's money.

  Angi is NOT Angie's List. It is an abomination. I have been a member on Angie's List since ****. I just cancelled my Angi membership. I got on the Angi site to look for an electrician. Within 30 minutes I received 2 unsolicited phone calls from electricians, That is NOT what I want from this site. I want service, not harassing phone calls. This is a scam. They took an honorable product, Angie's List and ruined it for the users. I relied on Angie's List for 20 years. I don't know how to replace that trusted source. It certainly is NOT Angi.

  When I initially made the appointment with **** (Angis List customer service rep) she stated on several occasions during the call that the mounts would be included. The gentleman arrived and asked for the mounts. I informed him that I was told that they were included. He showed me the email where he was not notified. I called the customer service line and requested to cancel due to the lack of communication and lack of correct information. ****** then stated that she could NOT cancel the account even thought no services were preformed and the gentleman has gone. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was immediately told NO! I WANT TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY AND MY CREDIT CARD REMOVED FROM YOUR SYSTEM!!!! The customer service that I received from your customer service department is horrendous at best! I WILL NEVER UTILIZE YOUR SERVICES OR THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN! I am a first time customer and you all failed miserably!!! I will also be sure to report this company to the Better Business Bureau! I have also notified my banking institution and was informed that **** also charged my account BEFORE the date of service! You all are crooks!!! If I could give this service a -5 stars I absolutely would without hesitation! Thank you for wasting the service gentlemans time since this was absolutely NOT his fault but yours as a company! If this is how you all treat your contractors you should be ashamed! Your ethics as a company is shameful and disgusting! ??????

  If I could give 1-star I would. The sales rep. ******** me 5 leads a week for $300 a month which is 20 leads a month. I agreed to the terms because they said if I dont receive the 20 leads as guaranteed I could cancel without having to pay the 35% remaining contract funds if I cancel within a 90 day period. However, today I spoke with my account manager and they cant even provide me with 5 leads a week and keep saying its an issue with the profile and system. I havent received a single lead since 07/21/22 Ive received duplicate leads before that and several fake ones as well. I was promised a refund if Angi wasnt up to par after 90 days and let me tell you they are not up to par at all. Since I joined them in may Ive literally only received 31 leads and majority of them are to do deck maintenance which I dont even provide. How are you charging someone $300 for leads in work they dont even do? This is a scam and taking advantage of small businesses in general. Buyer beware these guys are frauds and thieves. Taking hard earned money and not upholding their end of the deal or contract. I will be contacting my attorney as well to get him up to date on all of this in case they refuse to refund me my money and if they choose to try and charge me that bogus 35% remaining contract crud! Stay away from these people here I dont even know how they stayed in business for so long!

  Contacted Angi to get 2 small rugs dry cleaned. The app quoted $200 assuming I wanted in-home carpet cleaning. I've received 3 calls marked "Angie" in past 30 mins. Each one I answered, and each one hung up on me. Even after I blocked Angie. App wouldn't let me choose '0' rooms and restate my original request for easy cleaning of 2 small rugs. This app is c*** and should be disbanded.

  We had our ** mount and ** mounted on our wall in our living room. It was not done properly and exactly 60 days after the ** mount was coming off of the wall lucky we where home noticed it before our ** would have fallen off and break. Our wall is pulled forward and the ** mount it bent. Service was done 6/2/2022 and we called them about the incident on 8/1/2022. We called Angi and due to it being past 30 days they would not send anyone to properly set up the ** wall mount. I was told since its past 30 days since they cant send someone to mount it properly that I can get a refund of 50% cost and provided me an email to send my name, mailing address and receipt. The moment I got off the call I did as was advised. I sent an email with my information and receipt as requested. They replied to my email and asked for photos I replied back with photos. I was informed again in a response to the email I sent that upon review that they can not send someone to have the ** mount properly installed, but they will send a refund of 50% of cost. In the email I was advised again to send my name address and receipt for refund. Today I received another email that they are also denying the refund. All I wanted was for them to have someone do this job properly since we scheduled for them to come so this can be done professionally. Unfortunately it was not done professionally and they will not send someone to have it done correctly and now they are denying the refund after it was already offered twice by phone when I called and by email. The representative I spoke to on the phone offered this when I called and again when I had to send an email. I was told twice after reviewing while on hold when I called and again while waiting to emails that I would get a refund. Today I receive an email stating they will not send me the refund.

  Thought Angi was reputable and used reputable and licensed contractors. I was completely ripped off by a contractor that I was linked to on Angis list.I had a licensed contractor bid on the work who must have subcontracted with another person. The other person calls me to do the work and I think it is the one I agreed to on Angi. The work was to tune up my roof. Have no no no idea if he did anything up there. Then he offered to help me replace some deck railings on my deck for extra $$. Seemed honest enough but literally did not make it through one winter. The wood he replaced it with is literally splitting and deteriorating and the snow and ice ripped the railings out of the nails in most of the joints. I now need to get it redone and no reply from this so called subcontractor which I now realize was a sham since there was no license number or anything. Do NOT use *********************. They have sham contractors on here and arent vetted. I want my money back as the work literally ruined my existing deck railings and were replaced with garbage and much worse.

  I was told they would send out a plumber for 2 jobs they sent a handyman that didn't know what or how to put in a sink. Now I have to buy new counter tops also didn't know how to fix flame on toliet. Angie's list lied
