      Stole my money when they never showed up... canceled 3 separate times last minute... zero customer support. Chat agents take forever to respond. 1 told me they refunded the money they stole, and out and out lie... I eventually had to have the bank get it back as a fraud charge... when I try calling the shortest time I've ever had to hold was 12.5 hours most the time longer, as long as 31 hours... they only respond to emails occasionally and with barely better response times than waiting on hold on the phone. This whole company is a scam filled with cin artists and thieves

      Beware of Angi! In January, their contractor was a no-show, and has refused to refund more than $300 in what we paid in the 5 months since. Is this the type of business you stand for? I would highly suggest anyone considering Angi, to stay clear. No show contractor, refusing to refund money, and months of broken promises while holding on to our money. Repeatedly fail to call and to make the situation right.

      WHAT A SCAM. DO NOT USE ANGI LEADS!! They took my first $750 then was additionally charging me an extra $160 without my knowledge and refusing to give any refunds. They are frauds. Do not get scammed!

      The first guy did not show up during his scheduled time, which I paid $140 for. I waited two and a half hours. I also tried to call him on the Angi number for him and he did not answer. I contacted the help chat and they rescheduled a contractor for three days later. When the guy showed up, he said that he needed eight hours for the job and that Angi only booked him for two hours. He also said that he was only being paid $37 for the two hours. He left after two hours to get to his other scheduled jobs. So, our laundry room and garage were unusable for days after (until I could find and hire another guy to complete the job). I called Angi to complain and waited on hold for an hour and 47 minutes until they said they were closed for the evening. I messaged in the chat to complain (again) and they sent me a document to fill out. They emailed me today to say that they will make a decision about refunding me (for a service they did not provide), but that I will not receive a paper check for 3-5 weeks. I am sure I will not receive it and then I will have to contact them and waste more time. To recap, I have spent six hours trying to get this cabinet installed. Angi seems to be a scam company.

      They Call and leave countless messages. Very annoying. I found some contractors through them. The review system works but contractors respond from many different phone numbers. I guess there are Angis list numbers for them and their own company number. Plus their personal numbers. It gets confusing.

      Scammers, liars, and thieves. Angi, not the contractors you are trying to hire.They bill contractors for leads at twice the rate they promise and then fight you for a termination fee even though they lied to bring you on board.They trick customers into thinking they are getting vetted professionals, but they aren't. The onboarding person who helped me with our account setup described what they were doing as "performative." Let this dinosaur of a company go extinct.

      They dont deserve a star, where it that negative scale!!!.. NEGATIVE LEADS with FAKE names, emails, and descriptions of service needed are all FAKE. The outrageous charges and the deception of promises. Angi misleads and takes your money after you cancel, and refuse to refund for money they did not have authorization for after cancelling, AND staff is incredibly rude!! They need to be shut down immediately.

      I purchased a bed frame from ******* with an extra charge for the bed to be assembled by Angi on 05/01/25 1600. ******* was EXCELLENT!However, Angi is NOT! was scheduled to be assembled at 1600 on a Thursday. At 1535, I receive an email canceling the appointment by Angie and rescheduled for the next Saturday 05/03/25 at 2000hrs! For clarification that is 8pm on a Saturday night! I cancelled and assembled the bed myself taken over 3 ****** for the refund as of 05/07/25 I have not received it.

      No one showed at noon which was the scheduled time. A text received at 12:20 stated the appt was rescheduled to 2pm, without approval. By 3pm, I gave up and will never use Angi again.
