      Recently purchased a power wheelchair from Rehab Medical. We were told it was custom made for my wife, but this was a lie. We received a standard Merits P325 ****************** Chair. We paid $3684 for the chair. I found the same chair online for $3000. We were also told that ******** had paid 70% of the cost which would make the price $12280. We never received an invoice. I was overwhelmed on what to do and waited 4 months before contacting Rehab Medical. My wife used the chair once for about 15 minutes so it is still brand new. All we wanted to do was return the chair and get our money back. Rehab medical did not allow us to return the chair. Consequently were out the money and stuck with a chair my wife can not use. I will be filing a complaint with the ******* Attorney General, if ******** was charged as Rehab Medical claimed they were overcharged.

      Approximately 4.5 months ago my Dr sent over to Rehab Medical an order for a manual wheelchair. After weeks of promises and failures to communicate and the sales person ********, failing to call, text or follow thru with promises and NO wheelchair, I spoke to Regional Director ***************************** and received assurances that while ******** failed, he would take care of it. ******** failed to contact my doctor ******* lost paperwork twice and advised me to cancel my Doctor ordered physical therapy and use THEIR physical therapists. After weeks of waiting and NO response, i went back to my Dr and bought my own chair. The group at Rehab Medical has horrible customer service skills, the corporate structure is set up to keep customers from contacting customer service . PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not use them. Read reviews on here. Very much like USED CAR SALESMEN IN THE OLD DAYS !!!!!!!!!

      My physician ordered a power chair for me about a year ago and unfortunately, ever since I have had the power chair, it breaks down more than I am able to even use the power chair! This last time my power chair broke down, was the day after one of Rehab Medical's technicians so called fixed my power chair. The tech had the nerve to tell me to call Rehab Medical and request him if I had any problems after he so called fixed my power chair. Well, the day after the tech so called fixed my power chair, the power chair broke down leaving me in the middle of the street to be ran over by traffic! I called Rehab Medical like the technician told me to and requested the same technician, only to be told by Rehab Medical customer service that the technician would not be able to fix my power chair. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PHYSICIAN TO ORDER YOUR POWER CHAIR FROM REHAB MEDICAL, Inc.! You will end up exactly like myself, left with a worthless power chair that a Rehab Medical technician can never fix right and then Rehab Medical will leave you without a working power chair o stranded in the middle of some road in jeopardy of being hit by a car! Rehab Medical does not care about their customers. They only care about receiving your health insurance payments for the tackiest, broken down power chairs they have and they never offered me a spare power chair until mine is fixed. Furthermore, I have not even heard anything from Rehab Medical since the day after their technician supposedly fixed my power chair and it breaking down again the very next day! Tacky service with broken down power chairs - don't waste your health insurance money on Rehab Medical and their broken down power chairs!

      @RehabMedical - I have been waiting since October 2022 for my fathers wheelchair. When you delivered, you were told it was the wrong chair. I have called and text, and left messages since 3/29/2023 . I have told you time and again I need the correct wheelchair. I had to buy safety belts to keep him in this broken chair. Can we please operate human?

      Austin ********** now Rehab Medical - If I could give this company **** stars I would. ABSOLUTE WORST company I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer care, ordering, service, call backs, trying to get any sort of updates, etc. It has been 108 DAYS (Feb 4th, 2023) since I contacted them about a scooter and I am still in the dark as to what / if something has been ordered, as well as when something will be here. I get disconnected when I call the main number and try to speak with a representative named **** about order updates. Disconnected after waiting forever on hold. Lets call it what it is, I am hung up on! Dont bother calling back because they DO NOT answer. DO NOT leave a message because they DO NOT return calls. I have had to call their parent company 3 times for help. I spoke with a parent company manager named ***********************, and the effort was useless. Their sales force is useless; they do not listen to needs, know their products, and do not return messages.Honestly, 108 days after contacting them, and having my insurance company representative contact them NUMEROUS times over the past weeks, along with innumerous calls from me, and still no resolution or even information as of this morning. I was hung up on by the office just this morning, and the sales rep has not returned calls with info since last Friday despite assuring me he would call me yesterday with updates. I have left him 2 texts since then with no call backs. I am beside myself looking for ways to move forward after wasting so much of my valuable time with this company. You would think a company wants sales SINCE THAT IS WHAT THEY CLAIM TO BE IN BUSINESS FOR! Do yourself a favor and find another company to deal with and save yourself the frustration and extreme anxiety of doing business with these people. And Rehab Medical / Austin **********; do not eave some boilerplate response that means nothing like you have for other customers. It goes nowhere and means nothing.

      I Have been in a wheel chair since **** and this company is the worst that I have EVER dealt with. It has been TWO weeks without my chair, and I keep getting the run a round, get lied to, get passed around to almost very one in the company from the bottom up! My daughter who's in the medical field FINALLY got a tech out out today to trouble shoot the problem as I told them it was a broken joy stick, WHICH I TOLD THEM WAS THE PROBLEM and they do not loan chairs but gladly took my money and told my doctor ******** weekends which they don't. Now it will be 4 to 6 weeks before the part comes in. My husband is on a ****** and has trouble pushing me. I let my doctor know about the LOUSY service, and now I am forced to buy another chair with borrowed money, but I have to wait until next week! Once I get to get a new chair, which is three years from now, I will seek out a new company! I HAIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY!!

      My power chair stopped fully charging. I called ***************************** go to work. From the ladies that took my information to ********, my repair tech they were so professional and kind. I needed my chair for an important trip and I got my **************** came out the same day & repaired it. Thank you all so very much for getting me ready for a wonderful trip with my wonderful husband & adorable niece?? God bless each and everyone of you! You have an amazing organization & awesome staff members!!!!

      This company is abysmal to work with. The first gentleman I dealt with put together a chair for me that, if I had been the one responsible for its assembly, I would have been embarrassed to have it leave the shop. They took the chair back because it was completely useless to me. Three months later I get a call from a new rep who wanted to take over. Even though I stressed that the purpose of getting a new chair was to hopefully relieve pressure points that were causing me pain, he just essentially reordered the same exact chair as I currently had. When it finally arrived, it was adjusted slightly different, but since they didn't do any proper physical evaluations on me, at that point it became clear that there was no point in trying to deal with this company any longer. The rep promised to have one of their "better techs" get in touch with me, but that never happened. I've been trying to get them to come get this chair (which is in my way) and have been getting the runaround. The rep says that they might be picking it up sometime early next week, but he refused to give me a firm date. Since he has repeatedly lied to me, I can't take him at his word. As such, I am now considering the chair abandoned and notified them that it will be sitting on the side of the road with a sign on it warning others to not deal with the horrible company. I'd say caveat emptor, but my recommendation is to completely steer clear of this company.
