I hired trash bandits in September of 2023 and agreed to quarterly billing. They frequently missed trash pick up service (weekly service) and emailed excuses as to why they couldnt pick up. Starting in the first week of June 2024, they went 6 consecutive weeks without picking up trash, returning calls, or messages. I canceled their service and requested a disputed payment through my bank. They sent a quick email about the false charge back and said they would be billing me for it and ending my contract. My bank returned my refund for the service to then quickly charge me again. On September 6th 2024, they charged me $108 for two $54 billing cycles, even though I ended service in June of 2024. When looking back at my credit card changes, I see that sometimes they would charge me every month and sometimes every 2 months, which is NOT the quarterly service I agreed to. When contacted, they say I am no longer a customer - yet I was charged an automatic $108 yesterday for services I havent received since prior to 06/01/2024.Initial Complaint

I engaged the services of a company known as Trash Bandits located in ******, IN to pick up my residential trash on a weekly basis. Their service was poor. They had had numerous delays and / or missed pickups. On August 4, 2024, they cancelled their route that serviced my neighborhood. They sent out an email indicating that a refund would be forthcoming. I have still not received a refund ($54 is the quarterly charge paid on July 2, 2024). On July 30th, 2024, $69 was automatically charged to my credit card for three months of trash service. I started with this company in 2023, hoping to support a small business, but the service quality steadily declined. My trash was missed two weeks before the July 30th payment, and I was promised credits that I never received. After the payment, the service was missed again, which led me to cancel, as I was consistently not receiving the service I was paying for. Each week brought a new excuse, but no credits were ever issued. Now, they refuse to refund me for their failure to fulfill the service I was charged for. As you can see from their reviews they have a track record for taking peoples money and not providing the services they promise.Initial Complaint

Paid for trash pick-up service invoice #**** for service dates 7/1 through 9/3/2024. Missed pick-up on July 26. Received an email from Trash Bandits on 8/4/2024 stating they were cancelling the route and would begin to process refunds within the week. I am due 2 months refund for services not provided. I pay for weekly trash services with Trash Bandits. While the service has been delayed many times, they have been picking up. Now last week, they sent an email that we shouldn't put our trash out because the driver cut his finger and can't get the trash. I have sent 3 emails since this time in order to determine the make up day. There has been no response. It's been a week. Trash piling up and no mention of anything from them. I'd like a refund for the service that I've paid for and haven't been reciprocated the efforts.Initial Complaint

Paid for trash removal service, and they have not picked it up in 3 weeks. I have tried to contact them on multiple occasions, and different ways of communicating as well. They will not return any communication. I have had to move my trash service to another company. They seem to have signed people up for service knowing they couldnt get them picked up, and so they are basically scamming people out of their money. I would never recommend this company to anybody. Have used Trash Bandits for over a year will acceptable problems. I have a temp hold on the account during winter months. On returning, I had the pickup started again. It went fine for May and June. Now I have not had trash picked up for four weeks. Assuming there was a problem, I contacted them with two emails and two phone calls (left message, they never answer), as well as a visit to the web site and left message. I have had absolutely NO return contact and have trash piling up in my garage. Cannot find any help with the company.Initial Complaint

Entered into a residential waste removal contract on May 23rd 2024 with first pick up to begin the week of June 18th 2024. The agreement was prepaid for a full 3 months and my trash has only been picked up one time. I have attempted multiple phone calls and emails direct and through their online form none have been returned no communication I now have almost 2 weeks of trash built up and have to look for alternate ways to dispose of it since this company appears simply take your money and not provide services that have been contractually agreed to.Initial Complaint

Our neighborhood, ************************************** as our trash provider starting December 2023.On July 22, 2024 Trash Bandits stop servicing us without notice. We had just paid for recycling and have not received any refund for it. Their trucks leak liquid from the trash onto the streets permanently staining them as they picked up our trash as well.Initial Complaint

Has not provided the service I pay for 12 weeks out of the last year. Terrible communication, rarely responds to customer inquiries. Inconsistent billing. Sends unprofessional emails about how their employees quit and the owner cant keep up. Tells us to leave our trash out because h*** be coming the next day, never comes. Wont respond to emails or calls. Deactivated their FB page this weekend after this occurred. I see constant posts on FB about their terrible service and communication so I am aware that we are not the only ones dealing with the issue. Disputed charges this morning with my bank.
