I canceled service with Experigreen that I had paid in full for a 12 month period on May 6th and am due a refund in the amount of $270. I was told it would take 10 days to process. Still to date, and after several phone calls and them telling me that the check has been posted out I have still to receive my refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Customer service is non-existent.
Experigreens reasoning that there was confusion about the mailing address is absolutely untrue and this is proven by the fact that both addresses never received any mailed checks.
I still receive mailed Experigreen billing statements without any problems.
There is no typical company structure such as Supervisors or a ******************* the company seems to be run on a shoestring.
Whoever I speak to are always combative and seem to be speaking from a script.
No consistent explanation as to why I have not received my refund.

Buyer beware! We have been using Experigreen for about 1 1/2 years and our yard doesnt look any better. We overseeded our lawn last fall and they came out a week later and put weed control down (seed didnt grow). They admitted to this mistake and said they would come back in the spring and reseed free of charge. They came back in the spring and then you guessed it came back a day or 2 later and put down weed control. I didnt want to wait again till fall so they came out today to reseed - well the ring cam shows them doing aeration but not putting down seeds. The guy is claiming he put down 2 huge bags of seeds but no one in our family sees any seeds down. Now they are saying maybe we should cut ties as they know they put seed down. I asked them to come out and show me seeds down and they stated they would try to get it on the schedule. Seems to me like I am being taken advantage of ??Business Response

After you contacted our service manager via phone regarding not seeing the 70lbs of seed we applied on the free follow up visit on 6/6 our service manager ***** again applied additional seed to your property and also showed you where the original seed plus this new seed was applied. At this point you communicated with us to not come back to your property in the future so at this point your account has been canceled and no further services will be done moving forward. This is a company that has provided me lawn services for the last four years or more. each year before contacting me they come out and spray my lawn without permission. Last year 2022 the same issue However was able to talk to a salesman and I purchased a package, only for the summer months. most times they needed to return because weeds were always still visible. In February 2023 without my knowledge or permission the company claimed they had sprayed my lawn. There was no receipt on my door k*** which is their usual practice. At this point they keep calling and emailing me for $50.00. I wrote to them about this issue but they continue to ignore me and want the money.. We can see we have tried to contact you via phone since yesterday to discuss these concerns but unfortunately have not been able to make contact. As we have discussed with you via email our services are continuous from season to season. You initially signed up for services with us in June of 2017 and when you did you received an email confirmation of your services which also states our services continue from season to season unless you contact us to make changes. At the end of each season since 2017 we have sent you an email communication to let you know of the automatic renewal of your services, as well as information as to what your services and pricing would be. Each of these notifications also included communication that you would need to contact us to make any changes before the season began or we would continue as normal. We did not receive a cancellation request from you until this season on 3/8 and at that time your account was already canceled. At this time, you had already had 1 application completed. While we are not able to remove the full balance of $50.40, we are willing to meet you half way and remove $25.00 leaving $25.40 remaining due. Please let us know, thank you.Initial Complaint

We signed a contract with ExperiGreen in April of 2022 for 5 treatments to our lawn and issued them a check for the full amount in advance of the 5 treatments. They fulfilled their obligation to that contract in 2022. However, they electronically debited $99.75 in April of 2023 from our checking account without our knowledge or consent. We discovered that when we contracted with them last year they set up an electronic withdrawal from our checking account without our knowledge or consent instead of just cashing our check. This allowed them to keep the name of our bank and the routing number to be able to withdraw money again this year (2023). We had no new contract with ExperiGreen to service our lawn in 2023. In fact, we sold our house and moved in late September 2022. They have no right to use our checking account without permission for their personal gain. I have contacted them twice since April 11, 2023 and asked for a refund but have no had no success. I believe this is fraud.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I thought my complaint no ******** was resolved on May 10th when ExperiGreen confirmed that they issued a refund check on the 10th in the amount of $99.75 which was illegally debited from my checking account on April 11th without my knowledge, consent or written contract for lawn service in 2023. This is now May 24th and I have yet to see any money from ExperiGreen. I again contacted them last week and ********** ***************** assured the check was in the mail. I don't think they ever had any intention of repaying what they took from me.

Yes, we finally got the check from ExperiGreen today but they lied about issuing it on the 10th of May. The check was dated 5/20/23 so I assume that my second call to them last week prompted them to know that I was not going to give up on this.

We contracted with ************ of *********, **** for a series of lawn applications. They recently sold out to ExperiGreen of *********, *******. We have recently moved from our house at ********************************************* and have been owed $186.00 for the balance of our unused lawn applications since agreed on by then owner, Organic Turf on 2/21/2023. Between my wife and I, we have called 12 times and been assured of our refund repeatedly. They said a refund had been sent twice. Once to an incorrect city in March then to our new address either the end of March or beginning of April this year. We firmly believe that they are repeatedly lying to **. You cant mess up on mailing a refund check to ** this badly. Its been nearly 3 months and still a lot of promises but no check. Dispute ********** Services Not Paid For:In March 2022, I purchased and paid in full for six lawn care treatments via check for those specific services only. My account number is *******. On April 10th, I received a collections call from them indicating that I owe $94.50 for two additional services that I did not agree to, was not aware of, and disputed. I dispute the amount because I never agreed to service beyond the 6 services that I paid in full for. I never received a call or notice stating that they would continue to provide services, a reminder, a receipt, or a confirmation. The only way that I knew that they provided additional services is when their collections department contacted me. That is when I contacted them.4/12/23 I sent an email directly to their email address disputing the amount and no one responded.4/13/23 I submitted a request for contact directly on their website. I received an automated response that said that they would respond ASAP but no one replied.When I called back and talked to a representative on 4/14/2023, I told them that I was not aware of additional services being provided since I specifically only paid for 6 services and paid them in full upfront. The person that I talked to did not seem to care and said I owe because they came and provided two additional services. I told her that I work from home and did not see anyone on my property for the two additional service dates that I was charged for. I told her that I dispute the amounts because I did not know that the service would continue especially since I only paid for 6 treatments.I would like for the charges to be removed since I did not agree to them and I never saw a statement that said the treatments would continue until I call and close my account.No one ever said when I purchase the 6 treatments, nor did I receive anything saying that I must call and verbally cancel. I am rejecting this response because: 4/19/2023 (NBB): I have called the number *******************) that they provided three times and was forwarded to VM each time. The last call that I made wastoday (4/19/2023) at 10:48 AM EST and you guessed it, was forwarded to VM. I manage a team and attend meetings so I cannot be on call but can call when I gives me the flexibility to respond 24/7 versus playing phone tag. On 3/18/23, I received a collection agency letter saying I owe ExperiGreen Lawn Care $95.39. I live in *******, **, a ********* suburb. I never heard of this company, never hired them, and they dont appear to operate in the ********* area. It smells like a scam.Business Response

Serviced since 2018. Weed control, fertilization, and aeration were consistant throughout discontinuation February 2023. Had a fungus in 2022 treated. Grass is horrible; it's all thatch in the back yard starting at the roots in ground. Started turning brown and even in warmer weather it has not begun to start being green. Multiple complaints to customer service about billed and no treatment, treatment done within 8 minutes, and lack of progress with grass. Had to ask for a courtesy call before arrival to make sure services where being done and most recent, tech showed up to neighbors and didn't see we were to also be serviced so preceded to leave disregarding my plea until I called customer service. They had to tell him we were being serviced also. was told a manager would call to discuss repeated issue, still have not heard from one. Discontinued last month. yard is full of weeds and thatch to start this season! Clearly the applications were not sufficient. a 8 minute spray just wasn't enough and they were monthly consistently.Business Response

Have tried to cancel services MULTIPLE times over the course of the last year and a half. Company claims I have never called when there are multiple records of conversations and multiple texts of cancelations (I have saved everything). I spoke with ******* and ****** today because A YEAR after they confirmed my cancellation and cleared my account, someone showed up and sprayed my lawn WITHOUT permission OR an appointment and they are now trying to charge me money (total of $57) for services I DO NOT WANT and made that very clear back in February. The company is claiming I never tried to cancel. Currently the review on ****** that THEY RESPONDED to, states my desire to cancel. When I brought this up, they changed their answer from, I never called and my number was blocked, to "That was only about the refund and you never spoke to anyone about cancelling services." At this point they are TRESSPASSING and spraying CHEMICALS onto my personal property and I am considering filing charges.Business Response

I requested ExperiGreen perform a one-time weed application service on my lawn in fall 2021. They mistakenly applied a winterizer application. They did not charge me for the winterizer, acknowledging they made a mistake. I paid for the weed application once they applied it and told them I didn't want their services anymore because of the mistake they made. In fall 2022, they applied another winterizer application to my lawn without letting me know ahead of time. I was not home at the time. I was surprised because I had cancelled my service with them the year before. I spoke with ******* from ExperiGreen on 10/27/22 and explained to her that I had cancelled my agreement with ExperiGreen the prior year (2021) after they made a mistake on my original service request. I asked her to check the notes in my file to confirm I cancelled the prior year. She found no such note in her file. I asked her what my file said. She said the notes indicated I was concerned in the past about my dogs. I told her I dont have a dog and havent had a dog since the ****s when I was a boy. This was another example of their incompetence. I asked her to make a note in the customer file on me indicating I dont want their service anymore, something that should have already been in the file. She said she would. I told her I hope their technicians unsolicited application of winterizer to my lawn didn't harm it since I had already applied winterizer myself. A male representative from ExperiGreen called me days after I spoke with ******* and I explained everything to him again. I told him I dont owe ExperiGreen anything and to make a note in the customer file on me to stop contacting me. He said he would. I thought that was the end. I continue getting calls and emails from ExperiGreen saying my account is past due. I emailed their customer service department today, explaining all of this in writing, and told them I was contacting the BBB to lodge a complaint.Business Response
