I’m very disappointed, I went there to purchase a browning silver field 12gauge in February. I put in layaway and went to get it out March 3rd 2023 and I got delayed (I’m under 21 and this is the first firearm i was purchasing.) the associate told me on the 3rd when I went to get it out that if I should receive a call within the week between the 4th and 9th about it and he said if I didn’t get a call back I could come back the 9th or after and just pick it up. Well I come back today the 10th after not receiving a call and go to get it out of layaway and low and behold I get delayed again? Why? Well the older associate who was honestly quite rude about it said “oh it’s not us so you’ll have to come back the 18th” so at this point I’m already frustrated and decided well I’m going to just cancel the order so I tell the guy at the register (who’s name says Andre on the receipt) and he informs me on anyone that’s under 21 is getting flagged and delayed again. Okay so why did I never receive a call to inform me about that? Or the associate tell me when I put it in layaway in the first place that it was happening when it clearly said on my license under the age of 21. Will not be back.

Thank you for expressing your concerns with your recent visit with us. ATF’s new ruling states, “…If transferee/buyer is under 21, a waiting period of up to 10 days my apply where notification from NICS is received within 3 business days to further investigate a possible disqualifying juvenile record…” We do apologize for the miscommunication that our retail staff did not offer to you once in store. We do not inform customers firsthand about the extended delay in background checks because that imposes the threat of a straw purchase – meaning – if an individual under the age of 21 years old understands the delay can be up to 10 days, they may ask another individual over 21 years old to purchase the firearm for them. Understandably this isn’t the case for you, but we have to but extensive measures in place to ensure we protect all laws being issued with ATF’s existing and future rulings. Good Company to do business with, I had one little glitch I contacted them and it was fixed immediately. Pricing was average but they had a product that was hard to find and it was in stock. They advertise very low prices and then when you get there none of those guns are ever in stock. The old bait and switch, and if you call them and ask them if the guns are in stock they say you have to come check for yourself and will not tell you over the phone.. could have saved me a trip but refused to do soKYGUNCO/ Kentucky Gun Co.

We have recently changed our pricing to only show 1 price for all our items now. We have items listed that are located in Bardstown, Louisville, and from a third party partner. Our phones are open Monday thru Saturday 9am - 5pm EST. We have no issue informing customers who call in or who come into our stores the inventory both store holds at that time. I’ve read a few negative reviews. Ordered, checked on my order. Everything went smooth as butter. Some people nit pick over piddly things. Completely happy, received a great quality product, at a low fair price. Customer service was friendly and professional.KYGUNCO/ Kentucky Gun Co.

Utmost respect! First time buyer from here and gun came in with top rail scuffing and scratching damage. Since I accepted the gun and filed paperwork I figured I was stuck with it. I emailed the company pics and video of the damage and voiced my concerns, simply asking for a store credit to compensate for the reduced value of gun due to shipping damage. I was pleasantly surprised when a couple days later, due to it being a weekend, I got an email from them requesting I send back the gun and had a prepaid return shipping label attached, also with a new order number for another new gun. This time the second gun shipped faster than the first and came in perfect condition as expected. Many thanks to KYGUNCO for making this right! I would definitely buy from this company again!
