  Asked to make a key to start an ignition and they only made it for the tail gate and won’t make it fix the original one I asked for. Cussed at me and hung up on me multiple times when I asked to speak to manager. I spent $275 this time and used them before on another vehicle and spent $80

  We needed a new key fob made. We called KeyMe because it looked as if they were a local company based on the phone number and the location they have online. After a while, it became clear that they are not local. They had a locksmith call us and schedule to come to our house within the hour. The locksmith showed up and gave us an extremely high price of $499 to make a new key fob. He then charged an extra $115 for service charges and also asked for a tip. Overall, we spent $635 dollars for a key fob which is outrageous. After he was finished, I received a call from the original person I spoke to at KeyMe, and she asked how much I spent, which I thought was sketchy. We have tried for two weeks to get a refund on some of this cost, but they have constantly avoided us and stated they would call us back within ***** hours, and now have said we will not get a refund. Do not use this company, it is a scam!

  I usually am writing something negative. Positive experience for me. Locksmith have always been negative experience to remake keys. This machine really worked. I was worried giving my address to ship to me. Tracking was accurate. They respond quickly to emails.

  Had a key made at a kiosk in a vons. Days later someone came into my home used a key and robbed my place. Police report made. These people are crooks or hire crooks.

  Really REALLY weird service. I don't trust them at all.My daughter locked her keys in her car, so I called the KeyMe number on googlemaps closest to her. They took my info and sent a credit card authorization email for me to fill out to dispatch the locksmith. But get this... They wanted a picture of the front and back of my Drivers License AND CREDIT CARD to dispatch the **************************. Identity theft much?No F____NG WAY.

  I would not go with this company, they have shady business practices. I called to make an appointment to change the keys on the house we just bought. I spoke with a representative on the phone and he told me that I could make the appointment now and then someone would call me right back to give me a cost estimate on how much the service would cost. He also said I could decline the appointment after hearing the cost estimate. I should have known when he hung up on me at the end of the call mid me asking a question that was not a good sign.I did receive a call from a locksmith a few minutes later but he could not give an estimate without coming to the house and explained why. I mentioned KeyMe and he had no idea what that was. So KeyMe just outsources the work to local locksmiths. I decided it would be simpler to just book through the locksmith so I called KeyMe back about **** minutes after making the initial appointment to cancel it. During the call the KeyMe rep then tries to charge me a $30 cancellation fee. They should have included that in the initial call when I asked about cancelling - I even asked about fees and never mentioned. Also the initial KeyMe rep was very misleading when he told me I could get a cost estimate over the phone. Long story short this company is not upfront about costs and I would avoid them. They are just a third party that connects you to local locksmiths, just call your local locksmith directly instead.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY LIE AND WILL SCAM YOU. I had accidentally locked my keys inside my car and gave them a call to schedule a lockout service. They lied over the phone about the rates, and said they only do OVER THE ***** card transactions. They "scheduled" a locksmith to come out and and immediately after hanging up the phone, my bank notified me that they charged me a ridiculous price (OVER 50$ WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME) and it wasn't even 30 seconds after hanging up. I waited for 30 minutes to receive conformation for my service only to be met with a text from a random number stating that they had CANCELLED MY SERIVCE. I immediately called the same location back and demanded a full refund for bogus / scamming practices only to be transferred to their "supervisor" and they started telling me that "you shouldn't have been charged at all, we don't charge customers or schedule appointments if there is no locksmith available in their area" I argued with the "supervisor" until they finally agreed to issue an immediate refund. They asked me if I would like to be transferred to a different locksmith company and I said sure. I asked for the company name and they refused to give me the company name and just "transferred" the call to a machine that asked me to type my zip code in and was met with "we don't have any services in your area" and was immediately hung up on. The "supervisor" on the phone had told me prior to abruptly transferring me that this other supposed company would have services in my area, which was blatant lie. I ended up having to call my bank to get the charges disputed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND SCAM YOU.

  Technician was prompt but made my lock issue worse. He came back the next day and still claimed the lock was fine. BUT...when he took the lock apart, he reversed the gears. I had to get a reputable locksmith to correct his idiotic mistake. Do not use these people!!

  Don't use. They contract their services out to questionable people. They quote a price and then upcharge fees that make the price much higher. Had to request a receipt that had no listed breakdown of procedures. Argued with them about it all, and it's obvious they were used to scamming people. Stay away.

  The locksmith charged me $600 to unlock a door. The work was not complicated and he lied about the price on the phone. Do not use these services. They are a scam. When I tried to follow up with customer service, they hung up on me, transferred me to the wrong people, and there was no follow-up.
