      This may apply to any keyme locations. The first time I used them the keys were good. The second time, however, the 2 keys did not work. The refund process is awkward as you have to remember the order number. I would not use them again.

      A total scam. I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment and this was the first 24/7 locksmith that popped up on maps. A guy showed up with a fake toolbag filled with various bent metro cards, which he swiped thru the gap in the door back & forth like 15 times, suddenly started breathing heavy, and said the job is too hard and he’ll have to charge me more than quoted. Can’t make this stuff up. I said no thank you and then he started arguing with me and making phone calls to his “boss” in my doorway. Then he asked me if I had roommates and whether they were in town. Completely unsafe scam

      DO NOT USE- Would not give me an estimate over the phone. When the technician arrived it took 5 minutes to open the door and charged $407.00. I told him that was crazy! He said "Were not in Mexico" and "If you don't pay I'm going to put the key back in your car and lock the door". I tried to call the main office and was transferred to another line. I waited on hold for 20 minutes, called back and was hung up on. If a company is shady and won't give you an estimate than it's better to call someone else. Learned that the hard way.

      DO NOT USE!!! These guys are SCAMMERS! I locked my keys inside my car. They refused to give me a price estimate for opening the car door when I called, stating the "technician" would quote me when he called back. When I spoke to the technician, he refused to quote a price until he could see the car. I waited out on the cold for a half hour and when the tech arrived he said it would be $250!!! I told him he had to be kidding and the price immediately went down to $150. When I said that was also too much he asked "how much do you have?" I told him to get out of my driveway. Called ********** and had to wait another half hour or so, but it took their tech 1 minute to open the door and it cost me $75. Do not let anyone you know use these grifters. They should be run out of town.

      I called at 8:45 am and was told to stay by my phone, that someone would be calling to let me know when I could expect a technician. At 11:15 am I called back to inquire about receiving a call and I was told "oh your order was cancelled". Why, I asked. "We don't have someone who can come out." I asked why I didn't receive notification and they had nothing to say. I said that as a business owner and regular customer I would never use or recommend KeyMe Locksmiths to anyone I knew. How can a business operate with such poor customer service?!

      Very scammy. If you get a key and it doesn't work, they'll do everything to not give you a refund or only give you some of the money back. Just go to a locksmith, they're more trustworthy!

      Just saying the exact same thing everyone else says here. This is a shady business. A re-key is $60 in my region, and I was quoted $140/lock for all 5 locks, or $180 for just one. When I declined, the locksmith came back and offered me $60/lock in cash. The call center followed up later (after 9 p.m., BTW -- way too late) and offered me $50/lock. No way! The kiosks may be fine, but for professional locksmith services, just go local!

      Called after hours for service to a lock due to a safety issue. Tech worked less than 30 times and charged $480 dollars. Another company assured me that it was a $175 to $200 job. The service would only take cash or PenPal. He changed the price. Did not give me a receipt. Told me he was tired of ********** about a receipt. I really dont care if you called a third party or not. I did not procure his help; Key Me did. You are responsible. I have contacted the main office. Still no invoice. I have tried for over a week just to get an invoice. This company has fraudulent employees. Do not use them.

      On 5/22/2023 I locked my keys in my car in Dayton, **. This company sent someone to get my keys out. This person used a pump, got the keys out but damaged the door in the process. It took me about 3 weeks and a bad review left on ****** for them to get back to me. After going back and forth through email giving them all the detailsthey finally said it was done by our 3rd party. They gave me the phone #. Of course, when I called this phone # they said they didnt do the job. Now Im filing a claim on BBB and going to the police in the town it happened in to file a claim. I advise you stay ****** awaaay from this company.
