Tempur-Pedic is all marketing and will not stand behind their products when your mattress inevitably fails within the 1st year of ownership. You're way better off on buying a $400 Walmart knockoff. We purchased one of Tempur-Pedic's highest end models, a ProBreeze Hybrid a few years ago. It was perfect for all of 6-12 months. Since then, it had lost all of it elasticity and no longer supported a 185lb body. I woke up with constant back pain.
We purchased this mattress because of the strong promise they really pushed upon us, which is still currently (as of 4/5/24) on their website, "10-Year Warranty
Sleep worry-free for a full decade. Our mattresses are designed to exceed the highest standards and we stand behind their quality, year after year. Simply put, if your new mattress has a manufacturer’s defect within 10 years of purchase, we’ll replace or repair it."
Lies, lies, lies. I finally submitted a warranty claim and they swiftly denied it because the visual sag was less than 3/4" when tested with a quarter. Of course, anything weighing more than a U.S. quarter will sag quite a bit...and that's where they trick you with the fine print. They know the very airy top foam will never sag. It's the all the foam below that does the heavy work of supporting you and it won't last long at all.
This company and their products are TRASH. Avoid at all costs.

I am very disappointed in the product received. I purchased a mattress from Sealy on 12/2023 that came with a lump down the middle upon delivery. I thought the mattress would level out but didn't. As I reported to Sealy do to the unleveled mattress I begin having back and hip pain. I asked for a replacement of mattress and followed all directions in claim such as pictures and issues with mattress as requested. I have an active warranty and purchased the mattress online through home depo. I informed as mentioned, Sealy of the issues of the mattress in which the warranty person continuously show all attention toward a sag. I clearly stated from the beginning of my claim and emails that it was a lump down the middle that did not level out and the mattress was defective. I went back and forth, mind you not asking for a refund but a replacement with a non defective mattress. I even requested to send a technician to my home in person to visually look at the mattress. I was told they do not send technicians out anymore and was informed they allow customers to do what technicians would do. Weeks of going back and forth I informed them they have to comply with warranty and refusal is a breach of the warranty. They still refused to replace mattress and continuously respond with the same old script about required measurements regarding a sag. Yet, as mentioned my complaint was never based on a sag but a lump running down the middle of mattress from top to bottom. The picture I sent in the email to the supervisor in warranty admit to seeing the lump, but directed back to the sag. Again, trying to wear customer out by giving them a hard time. I paid for this mattress and it's basically like they just took my money. After weeks of going back and forth I told them I would have to get a lawyer if they will not replace defective mattress. They sent me their legal team address and told me have my lawyers to reach out to their legal team and they could no longer speak with me.

      GARBAGE!
It’s no wonder they don’t let you post pictures on their website. I’m still waiting to get my pissed on print 2k grand worth of pillows returned. Mind you these are brand new. This is how they sent them- the crappiest and deceptive company out there. Saved my friends from purchasing this garbage and will continue to spread the word to anyone inquiring- RUN!

I can't file a complaint through the BBB because it involves a purchase made over a year ago. It's regarding a warranty claim, which Tempur denied. Our mattress was clearly purchased within the 10-year warranty time frame. It has begun to sag in the middle due to a viscous foam defect. I've proven with their broom technique that the mattress clearly meets their 3/4" sag. During the claim process, this was their response: "It appears that your mattress is experiencing some damage associated with an improper bed frame, foundation, or adjustable base. This can include but is not limited to, the use of an unapproved bed frame, foundation, or adjustable power base, the use of a box spring, use of plywood or materials that are not recommended, broken slats/frame, improper spacing of slats, etc. Based on the information you provided, it appears that the mattress is failing due to the improper frame/support below the mattress. If the mattress were properly supported with an approved foundation, base, or bed frame, it would likely not be experiencing the issues at hand now as our mattresses are designed to function best with Tempur-Pedic approved bases/foundations." However, nowhere in their warranty does it state that a plywood foundation is not to be used. It also doesn't state anything about a wooden slat bedframe and/or the required distances for them to be apart. When I asked for my claim to be forwarded to a supervisor, they refused, and the person stated that his decision was the final decision. This is the second warranty claim I've made for our mattress, and it has been denied. They are making up warranty terms that do not exist in their actual written warranty. Completely unacceptable customer service and warranty process. When you spend $5,000 on a mattress, you'd expect it to last more than five years. I will ensure that I do whatever I can to spread the word to potential buyers to never purchase a Tempur-Pedic mattress.

      Hello,
My concern is with the warranty on my Tempurpedic Choice Luxe mattress. We submitted the required documentation and were approved for a replacement that was not equal. We went to the authorized dealers who questioned if we were sure we had a tempur pedic mattress set or sleep number. mattress. We are confused. Yes we do have a tempur pedic or a least that is what the tag says.?? Our split king has controls for air support for soft, med. and firm. and is around 13 inches high. What is authorized the adapt at 11 inches with no air support or multi and zones?
The mattress worked great for osteoarthritist and dengenerative disc disease. the Warranty department keeps assuring me of the cooling and upgrade I am getting, but not addressing the air control adjustable multizone or the height of the new mattress which also would be a choice in purchase of upgrade. What does tempurpedic make with adjustable air and zones?
the dips in the two are quiet large and cause severe hip and lower back pain. The warranty department said we could take the lesser mattress or upgrade and pay the difference. We are unsure why we would pay an additional 2000 with no controls for adjustments. We did go and test out the recommended replacement which is not 1/4 of the comfort of our original mattress.

You can find the whole email thread on Google Reviews.
      Betty,
I have to disagree with the photo assessment. A quarter cannot apply the force necessary to provide an accurate representation compared to body weight. When you depress the mattress from the edges, it is firm. However, in the areas where one actually sleeps, there is a considerable difference in the resistance. You can see in the photos that the mattress cover that came with the mattress has ripples in it because the mattress is not returning to its original form of snugness when there is nothing on it.
My wife and I invested significantly more money in this bedding set based upon the store recommendation and the Tempur-Pedic reputation. Obviously to be less than 4 years in, that changes our perspective forever. If some resolution cannot be met, we will not purchase your product again. I have to say that this is the response I anticipated.
      Sincerely,
      Steven M. W****

I would give 0 stars if I could.
I placed an order for a topper at 9:40 pm last night. This morning at 6 I decided to cancel my order because we wanted to purchase the bed instead. When I got customer service on the phone at 8am, they told me that my confirmation email stated I had two hours to cancel. My email did not state that. I was charged $175 to cancel a pending order. Needless to say, I will NOT be purchasing a $10k bed with this kind of business practice. I'm absolutely floored, this is hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I will be telling my friends to purchase any other bed besides a tempurpedic. I have at least three other friends that were on the fence about purchasing. I will convince them to buy from a different company because this isn't the kind of service you should receive from a company that you spend money with, ESPECIALLY the amount of money that these products cost.
I would rather spend $10k on advertising to warn people against shopping with tempurpedic than buy a bed from them.

The cancellation policy is listed on our website at tempurpedic.com and reads as follows:
How do I cancel my order?
If you haven’t started the checkout process or haven't submitted the order successfully, your order hasn’t been placed so there’s no need to cancel it.
If you have recently placed your order and you wish to cancel or need to make a change, you may navigate to "Orders" by clicking on your name on tempurpedic.com within 2 hours of placing the order. If your order is still able to be canceled, you will see a "cancel" option there. You may click on the word "cancel" to cancel your order. If you do not see this button to cancel or are outside of this 2-hour window, your order is not able to be cancelled or edited as the time window to do so is no longer available.

THIS COMPANY REFUSES TO HONOR 10 YEAR WARRANTIES AND STATES THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEIR PRODUCT. THIS COMPANY NEEDS A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FOR FALSE ADVERTISING!!

I purchased a Rhapsody Breeze mattress in 2015 with a 10-year warranty. The mattress has been well cared for, but I recently discovered incidentally, that the mattress was cracking, splitting, and crumbling in multiple areas. I submitted a warranty claim which had to be done completely online, required uploading of multiple, very specific photos. I was never able to speak to a live customer service rep when I was having problems uploading photos to their site through the process. Now that I was finally able to submit the claim, they are saying the warranty is not going to cover the damage because it appears the mattress has been exposed to liquid or heat, was improperly stored, and multiple other things that are completely false. I have requested to speak to someone and all I've gotten are follow up emails as to why the damage doesn't fall under their warranty.
