      Do not use Humana insurance company if you have any other options. You get a different answer from every person you talk to. I have talked to Kevin, Sam, and more people whose accent was so thick that
      I couldn’t tell what they were saying than I can remember. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I have a very serious disease and they absolutely could care less. Their website says my medicine will be coming, the.n the next personn will tell me something entirely different and then try to get me to transfer all my prescriptions to their pharmacy. That will NEVER happen after this experience. I have spoke. To supervisors, head people in the pharmacy. I have never dealt with such incompetent people in my life.

      DO NOT BUY Part D prescription coverage because they are Dishonest on their plans. Got quoted on part D and then it was changed and I CAN’T AFFORD it. I guess, I’ll just go without and hope I don’t have a stroke. They don’t give a crap about anything other than their bottom line. Isn’t it wonderful we live in such a caring nation. Humana will con you, BEWARE

      Horrible. Department of defense has hired these crooks to oversee Healthcare billing for veterans, active duty service members and families. This has been a huge mistake. They use the "keep people waiting on the phone" strategy for abnormally long periods of time. They dont provide any supporting paperwork. They are now denying claims for mental health services for reasons unknown and unsaid. I am contacting my representatives a d urge others to do the same. Keep this company away from the people dedicating their lives for their country.

      Humana does not cover cough medicine. Bromfed or benzonzatate. Never ran into this with an insurance company. Respiratory infection will rage on.

      Humana was automatically taking my money out for premiums and never paid anything for THREE years. THREE. Three years using my Medicare plan as a piggy bank without paying one cent.
      They told me they would reimburse me for the administrative error after following up with CVS. Then I was told to go through a customer complaint process and which was then denied, the exact opposite I was told on the phone. I was told one thing and then another. Not only that, it had inaccuracies in its “resolution” and said it was for just a year, not three. Due to the administrative errors I have three years of money stolen from me.
      I was told “we won’t keep YOUR money” all to be denied when I followed up about my reimbursement status. I would not trust using them.

      Humana is not what it was a few years ago, the coverage is not the same since my elderly father had it. I will be switching when the new enrollment period comes. My biggest concern was when I had my PCP send all my prescriptions to CenterWell Pharmacy. Last year, in September they were out of my insulin in pens, it is also available in vials. I asked customer service if they had my insulin in stock in the vials, since I received a message the pens were out of stock. They transferred me to a pharmacist. The pharmacist stated they did have vials in stock. I called my PCP had her send in a prescription for the vials and syringes. I then received another message that the vials were out. I called CenterWell Pharmacy and they said that BOTH the pens and vials had been out since May! Why would the pharmacy lie to a customer and send them on a trip like that? Horrible customer service, they lie to customers, and they cannot be trusted. Also, I have arthritis really bad. I did a chat with customer service and asked if a hot tub would be covered, before I decided to ask my physician. The customer service rep said that it would be covered. I discussed with my physician and he wrote me a prescription for a hot tub. Once again, I was lied to. Even if it wasn’t covered at 100%. I was still willing to pay any copay. It was not covered at all. If you cannot get straight answers from your insurance company on these things, how are others treated for more serious things like cancer treatments and other things that a patient may need to inquire on. This company cannot be trusted for answers on medications or even medical devices. The ride assistance program is a joke. Look up reviews for their service, CareCar….. they are very unreliable and will not be the company servicing you. They are a third party and a lot of people get left behind, their ride never comes, or something happens where you cannot get to your appointment.

      I have been with Humana for years. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Know one in that office has any knowledge of what they are doing. Customer service to CenterWell. They lie. Oblivious they don’t document or when it is convenient for them they don’t. They tell you one thing and switch you from one representative to another they n you conveniently are disconnected. They say the delivered meds and you never get them. During Helene they refused to replace meds lost in the storm unless you pay the full price. Can’t get a letter, email or correspondence stating that only a smart summary. That doesn’t work with FEMA. Then they lie and say 7 months later oh they would have replaced them that is just now after 7 months. Talking to repersative and being transferred numerous times and disconnected just to have to call back and start all over, by this time your anxiety is a 10++ just to get nothing accomplished. CenterWell pharmacy is a joke.
      They need to be investigated all of them. Our health lies in their hands when we do not get what we need. I do want to give a shout out to my insurance agent for his dedication and helpfulness trying to resolve issues. So if you are looking for a Medicare insurance company never go with Humana Medicare.

      This is the worst thing I have ever done , if they call you HANG UP or tell them to take you off there call list , I'm now in the process of canceling my surgery , and the agent will not return my calls , The rating would be less then one
