      This Medicare dental plan is terrible. The customer service hasn’t a clue who or what is in or out of network. They don’t pay claims so I have to pay up front. They say 100% paid but that is what they decide is reasonable. So, for example - an extraction at $380, Humana claims they paid $124 (100%) but my dentist never received that. Yesterday I had a root canal (crown later) (all covered at 100%) and i had to pay in full ($3200.00) due to Humana’s poor record of paying claims.
      Do not get this plan. Save your sanity.

      Do not, I repeat do not go through humana insurance. Not only did they deny a claim that was within my PAID policy. But every time I call to ask about it. They act like they cannot hear me and hung up. And I only know this cause I called, asked how their day was, if they had anything planned for the weekend and they heard me fine then. And the second I was asking for a reason my claim was being denied they said oh I'm sorry you're cutting out I can't hear you. And then hung up. I called back and had 5 DIFFERENT people do that. So I called sales and they could hear me PERFECTLY fine. I was gonna renew my policy with them but not now. And I've gotten 6 people to go through somewhere else. Cause goodluck having someone help you.

      Pharmacy issues. Humana asks for all my meds I am taking for 10 years and was approved (without pre authorizationfor) by United healthcare for years, and now Humana wants them changed or pre authorised them (which are non nocotics) They do not work with Doctor offices and cause the doctor office more work and time. They have no department where I could get my 1 pill for MRI approved. Customer service is not helpful at all. Departments either not open or not answer the phone. Neither return calles. Or lose your requests in the sytem.

      There should be a zero star option to review Humana. They don’t care about the patients, just send ‘em home from the hospital even if the doctors or physical/occupational therapist say the patient is not ready.
      On multiple occasions this year our elderly father, who has had many medical problems, was sent home before he should have been - then transported by ambulance back to the emergency room.
      This company is all about templates and numbers but they do not look in to the details, nor listen to family or medical professionals.
      DO NOT USE Humana…..

      Does not work on the Eastern Shore of MD
      It has been the worst insurance to deal with. Worst insurer we have ever hadto deal with. Has made our daughter's operation must worse because of the insurance issues and loop holes they make everyone involved jump through. Unfriendly to doctors use. Hospitals use lab test results and use .

      Centerwell took the money for my prescription and will not send the prescription. On the tracking page there is a message saying Centerwell will not give the prescription to the post office. . I am going to the New York Attorney General and that will be THE END to Centerwell.

      I am sick of receiving the same BS phone call from a telemarketer saying, "hello, this is Humana and I'm calling on behalf of your case manager" Would you give us a call back? First, I don't have Humana, second, I'm not sick so why would I have a "case manager" ???? This is an insurance company lying like theives and trying to scam people. Why can't the FTC do something about these scam calls. THe "Do not call list" is a joke.

      My Humana Medicare Advantage clearly states $150 coverage towards glasses. They paid last year. This year, same price, same glasses, same place (******** ****) they only paid $70. I filed a complaint, after making me wait 2 months they denied

      They just cannot get their billing straight. Sometimes they deduct from my SS check, sometimes they deduct from my checking account that I gave them NO authority to do. After being completely incompetent they ask you to take a survey and they'll call you every 10 minutes from a KY number. I had to block the number because the calls were so intrusive yet I can't get the same attention with their constant billing issues. I had to call my bank and have them block any withdrawals from Humana. They billed me twice this month for $50.60 and I want my money back!!!! And not when they get around to it, I need it now!!
