      They are frauds and file fraudulent
      Medicare claims. ALL rollators have seat, handles and brakes. They charge the customer for them but don't include the additional charges on the invoice to Medicare because they call that their "deluxe" package.

      ‘Discount Medical’ is false description. Finger brace online price $18, Gould’s Discount Medical price $210 or Gould’s Discount Medical price with insurance deductible price $157.

      I was given a thumb brace that is from Adapt health - Goulds discount medical and was sent a bill for $74, I sent a minimal payment that was in my budget and it didn’t give a due date or anything that stated pay in full then they sent me another bill of a late charge $90 more than what it was originally. I called on this and they wanted the whole $174 now, I explained that I had doctor bills also. They dismissed what my concerns were. I don’t know what else to do.

      I have reviewed the patient's account, the calls with our agents, and the payment history. These are my findings.


      There was an order placed on September 11, 2024, for a thumb brace. We received an explanation of benefit from patient's insurance on 09/24/24, stating the thumb brace (L3809) allowed $174.99 and it was all processed to the deductible. We sent a bill on 09/27/24 for $174.99 to the patient. We received a first payment of $10.00 on October 17, 2024. We called on November 01, 2024, from our automative system, to let the patient know her balance was $164.99. We received a 2nd payment of $10.00 on November 13, 2024. The patient called in on November 19, 2024, and spoke with our billing agent, Jeff. He explained we can do a payment plan and remove the late fee if she made a payment of $54.99 for today, which the patient did agreed upon. The late fee was removed and Jeff set the patient up with a payment plan of $20.00 a month but the patient still expressed her financial concerns with the agent, and he said he would change the payment plan to $10.00 a month however the patient said no, keep it at $20 a month. The monthly $20 payment was scheduled for the 27th of each month for the next 5 months. We have received payment for December and January and there has been a total payment of, $114.99 applied to the account leaving a balance of $60.00 as of today. The next scheduled payment will be due on February 27, 2025. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 855-404-6727 extension 11481.

      Was charged over 50 dollars for Crutches that I said was not needed, so did not receive them from Urgent Care and went on with my day. Keep getting bills sent to me and expect me to pay...

      I was at baptist health in new albany indiana for a fall. I was fitted with a simple sling. The insurance was billed $129.29 for this. This was discounted $57.46 since thew allowed amount was $71.83. That left me with a bill for $71.83. This was as basic a sling as could be bought anywhere for $20. This is a gross over charge.
      When i asked Gould (adapthealth) why it was so expensive, the answer was becasue that is what the insurance company allows.

      Was fitted and giver back brace while visiting doctor for lower back pain. When asked re price of device, was told by rep that my Insurance would pay.
      After trying device for couple of weeks, it did not aid with the back issue. I asked for a location and was told once fitted and tried, there was no return and billed for $104 and change.

      Poor Customer Service! I have been waiting 2 months for my walker and bath chair. They never have returned a call from me, and never answer the phone! I have called my insurance twice and they tell me that the orders were never submitted! These are very much needed items! I keep falling!!!

      Gould's Discount Medical (AdaptHealth) invoiced me twice for a cloth shoulder splint. The first invoice was for $14 and some change which I paid. The second invoice was for an additional $57.46. I cannot believe that this item could cost $72
      I have requested an itemized invoice twice so I can review this cost. Have not received. They keep calling me and saying if I don't pay, they will add a service charge to my existing bill. The splint was provided by OrthoCincy at the time of my son's appointment. There was no discussion about the cost of this item. If there would have been, I would have sought to purchase elsewhere. If you have a choice on whether to use this company or not, I recommend that you look elsewhere for your needed equipment or item. - G B****

      Multiple mistakes on getting a standard wheelchair for my 92 year old mother. Said they didn’t have the doctors order but they DID. Another employee had already checked on it. Initial delivery man canceled our order. Next day they finally sent correct one but it had to be adjusted. Delivery young guy Chad? Said it had to be taken back to the shop to be “hemi’d”. He said he doesn’t do that. Next guy Byron delivered Monday and it wasn’t the correct chair and it had to be adjusted also. He said Chad had the tools on his truck but didn’t want to take time to do the work.Byron attempted to adjust but didn’t have proper tools. Had to borrow from our neighbor. Chair did not fit my mother at all. Had to return it also. Worst service ever. There’s not enough room to tell you all the bull****runaround we got! Will not recommend and will never use them again. Reported them to Medicare too. They also asked for my mothers credit card number even though it was approved by Medicare.

      Their website does not work. I tried different computers and different phones. No success! Today I received a call about an aut0mated order and asked them to send me their website address. Still no response.
