      Multiple CPAP order problems: first, I stopped by the St. Matthews location in order to find out what kind of new masks might be available. I was told--quite rudely--that they don't do that in store, that I would have to call. So, you can't see what you are getting or samples of what's available.
      Second, they lost my prescription, creating further delays.
      Third, when my order finally arrived, it is the wrong thing on two counts. I was supposed to be receiving the mask that has the air hose coming from the front rather than top of your head. And, even worse, they sent the wrong nose piece, and I cannot use this kind with the two nostril pieces. I need the open cushion that sits under your nose, and I explained this carefully to the man who took my order.
      So, I don't have the supplies I need and I suspect am just out the money.
      I am astounded at how awful their service has been.

      Since Gould's Discount Medical became an *********** company, their billing is handled by ***********. It is a nightmare if you have billing issues. The numerous phone calls that I have made to get billing issues addressed and resolved go unresolved. The *********** customer service representatives that I have spoken with are not local, but have always been located in the Philippines. It wouldn't even matter that they are located in the Philippines, if they would just handle the issues and get them resolved. They have told me numerous times they were going to do something and never do it...thus more of your time spent on making more phone calls. When you contact Gould's Discount Medical locally, they tell you that they can transfer you to billing which only brings you back to ***********. It's so frustrating. Gould's Discount Medical are very accommodating when it comes to you purchasing items from them, but heaven help you if you ever have a billing issue. Unfortunately, some items such as CPAP's are required to be put on a payment plan versus paying for that item out right. Having to do it that way may be a requirement by your insurance company. Unfortunately for customers with billing issues that they are not able to get resolved with ***********, your local Gould's can't/won't help you.

      The people I had dealt with was bought by Gould's. Now I cannot get my CPAP supplies. Instead, I get the following routine:
      1. I get a call from them saying that my insurance is expired and to give them my current insurance info.
      2. I give them my current insurance info.
      3. The next day, I get a call saying that my insurance is expired and to give them my current insurance info.
      4. I give them my current insurance info.
      5. Goto step 3.

      This company billed me for a cloth sling, for a broken shoulder injury, a full year after I had my injury!!
      I wrote a check the same day and put in the mail the following day. That particular check went through our bank account two weeks later.
      Today I got a statement from them with that same amount for the sling, plus a $15.00 late charge fee!! I am furious because I always keep an eye on our credit rating, and it’s at an excellent number, but a late fee will show up as a strike against it………..and the bill was taken care of by me immediately after receiving the initial statement!!!!
