1 starI wanted to treat a sick friend to a Texas Roadhouse dinner, so I gifted a gift card. Because they are sick, it had to be a To-Go order. After choosing a menu item, on the checkout page they were prompted to enter the gift card # with PIN, however, when they tried to place the order, it says "invalid payment method".
So, I decided to check the website to see if there's an FAQ section, which there is. Only then did I find mention that the website does not accept gift cards for online orders.
But why is it listed as an accepted method of payment during the checkout??
I went to the To-Go part of the website to test it myself and sure enough, it plainly shows gift cards as a payment option and asks you to enter the gift card info, but then it rejects it.
What a run-around, it feels like a bait and switch. I've wasted money on a gift card that can't be used.Review fromEileen L

DO BETTER! THEE ABSOLUTE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE! Your ONLY vegan options are Applesauce,House Salad, and Seasoned Vegetables. After I expressed that I have a dairy allergy your server STILL brought me rolls! She had no idea that the rolls had dairy in them! When I did get my salad there was still cheese in it! I would love to patronize your restaurant and have a great celebration with my family, but I am STILL hungry! I ended up just eating applesauce! I WILL NOT BE BACK! YOU definitely will not get my money along with other vegans.Texas Roadhouse

1 starWorst experience at a restaurant. Visited 7/28/24 Our family of 6 was initially seated at a table that was dirty and covered in spilled soda on and around the booth. We had to stand for a few minutes while people mopped up and wiped the table down. Not a super big deal, but something to mention as it was missed before seating. We ordered and asked waitress about our free kids meal coupons, asked if our plates would cover them. We ordered an extra meal the veggie country sides meal to share to make one additional entree for each of the kids meal coupons. The waitress said it would be no issues, then at the end came over and said she is sorry am cannot honor it. I asked why as we not only had ordered an additional meal to accommodate the kids we had but also asked prior. She was kind about it and said she would see what could be done. Manager Jeffrey came over and was completely awful. Then gave us a military discount which was less than the coupon. Then when we asked why it said military coupon versus the actual amount. He said he was trying to be cool with us but we are making a big deal over $3? Which we really were not, we just inquired. He was super rude and when I said this was really ruining our experience he pretty much said he doesn’t care. He has to explain to his manager what he coupons off and he is tired of people coming in with multiple coupons? Then when I explained why would we lose the military discount and he said it’s one or the other. At this point we just wanted to leave, it was super embarrassing. In addition to this, no one brought us refills or to go boxes after that. We paid at our table tablet and had to go grab our own to go boxes. Super disappointing experience. Truly your company really should be embarrassed about your manager Jeffrey at the power and Ray location in Gilbert AZ!Review fromJohn L

4 starsVisit at tonawanda ny restaurant. Saturday July 27th, 2024. 4 pm. Server Antoine was pleasant and courteous. When our steaks arrived (we ordered medium) they were almost well done. When manager ( PHYLLIS) came by and asked if our order was fine ? I explained the situation. Phyllis definitely agreed that our steaks were not correct as requested. This was taken to heart and we were given new (perfectly done) steaks. We really appreciated the concern and dedication that was given. Thank you Phyllis, and thank you Texas roadhouse. See you again soon......JOHN L*******, DIANE Z******Review fromSteven P

2 starsMy family loves TX Roadhouse for large family gatherings. And my husband and I eat there at least once a week. Understand, waiting for all the party to arrive before being seated. Last week my husband and I were the second (2nd) couple through the door when they opened at 3:00 pm. Told the hostess table for two. They always seat everyone in the back near the restroom when they first open. As we were walking back, my grandson called and wanted to join us. She was seating us at a two top table. I told her about one more joining us, could we be seated at the next table (4 top). She said, no and walked us back to the hostess. I told her my grandson was 5 minutes away. We are very elderly and hard to walk to the back in the first place. Love the food, but accommodations - could improve.Review fromTam C

We were at a family get together before moving 1,000 miles away. We asked THREE times for the music to be turned down. We even spoke with the manager as our family could not hear what each other was saing. We were told that corporate had the musicc turned to the level and that corporated wanted the music blaring! Listen up folks, your restuarant is NOT a night club. Turn the music down! The food's great, but the music is way too loud.Texas Roadhouse

Hi Tam, thank you so much for reaching out regarding our music level. Although we are known for our loud country music, and we do tend to turn it up when it is dance time, we do not want it to cause harm to our guests or make them feel uncomfortable. I will absolutely get in touch with the Managing Partner to make sure the volume is monitored throughout the shift being at the correct level, also, about reconsidering the kicking of the booths or other extremely loud noises.
We hope you will consider us in the future.

They charged our debit card $62.76. Because they could not get our $50. Gift card to work. Then it did work. So they said they refunded the money to our debit card. It is a month now still no refund. So, the meal cost us over $100.
The food was great the service was great,,but now we will never go back. We are 76 and on a fixed income. The $50. Gift card was a gift for Mother's day.
We spoke to manager Glenn and manager Carley.
They said it was taken care of. We are still out $62,76Texas Roadhouse

Kyle F****, the manager of the ********* Indiana location argued with my table about remaking a horribly undercooked steak. No one asked for a discount or anything for free. He was simply arguing and making the situation difficult for no reason. Worst customer service I have ever received probably ever at a restaurant. Guy should be fired, but that won't happen and the location will stay horrible.Texas Roadhouse

I went to kingston ny location and I slipped on a rug/mat that was soaking wet under it and I fell. I reported it. Then no.one called me after my call so.i gave a bad review on Google and then I got a message from Texas roadhouse corperate office asking me to please call them to discuss yhe incident and talk fix the complaint. So I did. I was advised by coroerate office not to call a lawyer because it complicates things. So i didnt. Then she said I should get checked out at emergency room to see my injuries. So j did that as well. Now j have a 5000 dollar hospital bill and a whole lot of stress because texas roadhouse says it's my fault I fell and that the rug wasn't where myself and 3 other people said it was not under the sinks. And she said they don't have a maintenance person in kingston location so they do every 20 min bathroom checks and texas roadhouse says the bathroom was cleaned. The reason for this post is to.let other customers m iw that texas toadhouse is not who they say they are not taking responsibility and j will not let this go. People need to know if they fall there what they will have to do.and they also refer to me and my daughter in emails Obese. If you walk in the bathroom at kingston texas roadhouse be very cautious .Texas Roadhouse
