      Republic Finance is the worst place to get a loan. Their interest rates are too high. The manager ***** cursed me, and the Regional manager was no help. He sided with ***** who told me to just not pay your **** *** bill if you need a hardship. I asked him was he white, because normally black people are slapped with a higher interest rate by these creatures. I complained to Corporate, but apparently they don't have a corporate office. NOTHING WAS SOLVED. THEY JUST WANT MORE MONEY. THESE PEOPLE I AM SICK OF DEALING WITH. THEN HE TELLS ME TO CALL AND TALK TO THE SAME PERSON THAT CURSED AT ME. WHAT A JOKE. YOU JUST SPIT IN MY FACE.

      i had gotten a holiday tax advance and chose to not go that route with ******* ****** , so i never activated the card and wanted to reverse the loan . ******** ***** says the loan is through republic finance , & to contact them ….. you can’t EVER and i mean absolutely EVER get in touch with them on the phone . still two weeks later i never have been able to . but the minute they got word i didn’t file with ******* ******, i have a letter in my mailbox .
      ridiculous !! used the automated system and pressed all the wrong responses hoping even that may get me to someone that could lead me in the right direction, and they refuse to transfer you to a department that best suits what you need. I spent over two hours doing this i even. called different branched that were local to kentucky . same thing , every time !

      This company is not a BBB accredited company. I got hurt and can not work anymore. I get social security disability as my only income. They dont care. They still try to take you to court. They will not try to work with you. And it is very hard to get in touch with anyone there.

      Just no aren't s good company to do a loan with sad to say I took the loan like an idiot bc of medical reasons. I'm going to pay what is owed and never ever ever again get a loan from them. Interest rates are ridiculous omg and don't fall behind that's just extra fees geese help me lord with this one !

      Do not take a loan with them. 4 months after my loan, I had a stroke and lost my left side and speech. It was 6 months until I had some income. There was no compassion or understanding. I tried to make payments but it wasn't what they wanted so they refused my cash. Then turned me over to their attorney in Nashville (******* ***). They were just as cruel and again I offered to make smaller payments. The secretary told me she would NOT accept a lesser payment. They took me to court, without notifying me, (yes, apparently they can do this) and never told the court my attempts to pay and their refusal to accept. Now, I have a judgement against me for 25% of my pay every week. They company and the attorney are as crooked as a mountain road. Don't waste your time.

      Republic Finance misrepresented my payoff via phone payment. I originally asked for payoff balance on 5/23/24. I was given a total of $1655. I paid it, to find later (12/4/24) that I still had a balance of $280. Worst financial institution I’ve ever dealt with. Never again. I will discourage everyone I can not to do business with this…company. Ever. Will be doing an online complaint for all to see.

      Terrible company. Trying to get over 13000 from my wife and I. She has skin cancer and schizophrenia. and I have prostrate cancer. Trying to work deal with debt consodation company. Unethical people trying not to allow it

      This company filed a false claim through the Cobb County Court System without my awareness. They were allowed to steal $5200 out of my checking account without my authorization because according to them i were behind in payments (I wasn't). Also they Didn't alert me in anyway that they were going deduct these funds. Our (Republic finance / myself) Have a written agreement to deduct monthly payment from my checking account in the amount of $100. My checking account is always in good standard so therefore I'm certain this wasn't the issue. Apparently they dropped the ball on there end and is not willing to take the blame. I spoke to several associates that work with this company and neither were able to explain why this transaction occurred.

      My husband received a so-called preapproved loan check for over $2500, but after reading all the negative reviews, I'm going to tell him as much as we could use it to pay off bills, no thanks, we'll pass! This company scares me, and we won't be preyed upon.
