Default loan was addressed in claims court. Case was dismissed due to Republic Finance failure to appear and provide response. Yet Republic Finance sent my former account to a 3rd party collections anyway. I've submitted a dispute notice to the 3rd party. However I am still receiving collection request on this matter. This issue has been resolved. Nothing is owed I would like Republic Finance to correct the status of my former account and submit updated information to the bureaus.

Inaccurate information on my credit report. Date of transaction 04/16/2022(inability to pay due to extreme life change (God mother got sick with Covid, I became her sole caregiver had to close my business she passed November 2022 then family home was sold had move and was displaced for about 8-10 months) I have documentation if needed. Then I became ill and haven't been able to work since May 2023. Today I have talked ***** and another lady at the office where the transaction was made and then customer service for collections as well then transferred back to the original office and spoke with *******. I have disputed this issue with the credit bureaus and also to letters to the CFPB of the inaccuracies on my credit report. It says Charged-off/Written off then it shouldn't be reporting a balance at all ($5938). Then I ask if I was mailed or sent a 1099C, I was told the account was not settled but I know my consumer law. I'm that you provide me with a 1099C as well make corrections as in Delete, Update or Correct please. As this inaccurate information is hurting my credit. * Under 15 USC 1681e(b), consumer reporting agencies are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure maximum possible accuracy of the information in credit reports. Furthermore, 15 USC 1681i(a)(5) mandates that if, after a reinvestigation, the information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable, it must be promptly deleted from the file or modified as appropriate. *Given the inaccuracies in these accounts, I request that the information be either corrected to reflect 100% accuracy across all three major credit reporting agencies or be removed from my credit report entirely.

Republic Finance did an unauthorized deduction from my checking account of $355 when it was only authorized $161 for my monthly payment.to be taken out. They would not help in the situation even though it states in the confirmation email that they will. Please be beware of this company. They are shady.

I acquired a loan through Republic Finance and started out paying great. I have gone through MULTIPLE heath issues and decided to go through ******** **** ******. The lawyer through *** went to court last year on my behalf and came to an agreement, which was higher than my original payment, but that's how they work (No consideration for what other go through). I made many payments this was way like clockwork but my health started deteriorating again, way worse than before! *** tried to go in and settle differently but had to eventually drop them from my program due to not wanting to come to a better agreement. So today, I go to the store and find out there was NO money in my bank account. Republic Finance had gone in and took EVERYTHING!!!!!!! ???????? They garnished my bank account without contact IN ANY WAY!!!!! How does that happen?! I was NEVER served papers, called, had a letter sent to my address, or an email before doing so. THIS IS VERY UNETHICAL AND AGAINST THE LAW!!!! I AM CURRENTLY TALKING TO AN ATTORNEY!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY, THEY WILL BLEED YOU DRY WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!

I borrowed four thousand dollars and had it paid down to 2 thousand.
My wife got cancer and was in the hospital for removal of a tumor. I told them I would be in as soon as I could. They got real arrogant about it.
So to make a long story short, they sued me, not for 2000, bot for 13,000.
And they’ve told my bank any thing I deposit they wanted it.
My question is, what finance company would loan any 13,000 dollars, with no collateral, on fixed income, sounds shady to me.

Like many others, I was misled and not informed when explaining my contract , that there was credit life, for $11,124 and property non motor vehicle $9050 with the premiums being included with my monthly payments. What is also a da to me is how the amount on three different documents are different and possibly not correct. My initial loan contract amount on 07/07/2021 was an annual percentage of 29.420%, finance charges $3790.59, amount financed $7333.41 with a total number of payments of $11,124.00 within 36 months. Due to having Covid I fell behind and lost a lot due to not being able to work. As time went on an I could not make any payments I was sued and took to court 08/30/2022 docket C-55420 where a adjudge/decreed amt $7881.00 plus a fee of $56.35 plus interest at 28.69% per annum for 1 year from 05/06/2022 and there after 18% per annum until paid in full along with attorney fees $1970.39 and court costs proceeding. Now I understand that it is clearly explained in the doc. Prior to being sued I received a letter dated march 25 2022 from republic finance attorney ****** ******** ******* ******** * ***** they were retained by republic finance that I was in default on their agreement as of 03/24/2022 $1111.80, and that the total amount due at the time of this notice $7666.30 less charges for legal services. At that time still not back full to work from the bots with Covid and not able to make pain was sued and went to court on Aug 30 2022. No on my credit report for republic finance account 102785********0% paid off, opened 07/07/2021, status closed/charge off, collections June 2022 for $7825.00 written off and $3233 pass due, last payment Jan 14 2022, original balance $7403 balance $8518 update oct 31, 2022. As you can see on three different documents there’s three different amounts. This account was charged off and a decree issued shouldn’t the amounts be the same. Complaint continues on next review session

I received a Pre-Approved check in the mail [ that I could have really use at this time ] and was about to go to the bank to cash it. until I read all of these bad reviews about this company and their business practices. I am so thankful to all of you who wrote them [ but so sorry for what you went through] and so Glad that I read all these negative reviews before making what looks like would have been a grave mistake. So I've decided not to Deal with this company, and It's a Shame too Because it probably would have given me some Financial help that I need at the present time. So sorry to hear that they are Apparently Scammers.

I received a 4,500 loan from this company and 4 years later I was still paying on that loan. I paid 268.00 a month. If you total that it comes to 12,864.00 that I paid and was still owing them on for a loan that was 4,500.00. Then I was in a very bad situation which I was about to lose my house because I had lost my job after my daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis and we had ao many doctor appointments within a 3 month period for MRI’s, therapy, etc. my daughters diagnosis was a rare type of scoliosis so she had so many test that needed to be ran because it can effect other organs in the body. They called me offering me another 2,500 so in order to not be foreclosed on I had to make a deal with the devil (Republic Finance) again. I was one month behind on my payments and made a payment in that second month for two payments. Then a week later another month was due and I was 12 days late in that payment and they reported me and sued me for 7,798.00 I was unemployed at the time and told them I was unemployed. My mom had just passed away and I was planning on an estate sale They said I would have to pay 368.00 a month which I would have to start making payments by May 30th I had just found a job in April and after not working for 3 months was late on my lights, mortgage and car. On June 6th they started garnishing my checks. They are garnishing 800.00 a check and I get paid bi-weekly, so they are garnishing 1600.00 a month from me and I have two children and a chronically sick father that I take care of and we will be homeless soon because of Republic Finance (aka: The Devil)
I urge anyone who feels like their only option is to make a deal with this company NOT TO MAKE THAT DEAL. You will be homeless and the payments will never stop. They will charge you 99% in interest and they won’t even give you a chance if you fall behind and you will forever be in debt to this evil company

I applied for a short-term loan (payday) and was granted the funds, however, shortly after, Covid-19 hit. My work hours were reduced and eventually out of work like the rest of the state, country, world. I work at the ******* ********* in New Orleans (******** ************* *********).
Even though work resumed, it was a slow crawl to the status it once was or is now.
In the midst of a Global pandemic, Republic Finance, LLC proceeded my paycheck to distinguish the debt. Prior to the garnishment, and upon notice, I offered to make payments based on my unemployment benefits, I even asked for deferred pymts until I resumed working, to no avail.
I am currently still employed at ******* *********, but on a part-time base, therefore, they only get a pymt if my check exceeds a certain amount, which in most cases is not enough to obtain payment, since I only work events and for as little as 10-12 hours a week when scheduled and other job fulfillments.
I would like nothing more than to pay off this debt, and have sought several avenues which to do so, to no avail.
I feel that your company has no morals or compassion for its clients and would not recommend your services to anyone.
I wish I would have read up on the reviews of your company before conducting business. I have sought the assistance with the Better Business Bureau as well, but see now that it is NOT accredited.

So I was sent a pre approved check for the exact amount of credit card debt I have. I was going to cash it pay off my cards and then just pay the loan off but after reading all these reviews I’ve decided against it! It really sucks too because that would have gave me financial freedom as I am bill poor right now! Luckily I had my son read over it and he said they can change my interest rate after 1 year? Then I read all these reviews and now I’m terrified to take this opportunity! It’s sad I can’t because they are apparently scammers smh smh
