On April 24th, 2025, I purchased a monthly parking subscription from Premium Parking for approximately $120 to cover parking near my workplace. Due to a simple oversight, I failed to assign the correct license plate to my subscription, which resulted in several parking citations, even though I had paid for valid parking coverage at the time.I was not notified of the citations until May 2025, when I received an invoice for one of the violations dated April 25th. I immediately corrected the license plate on file and submitted an appeal through Premium Parking's online dispute process, explaining the error and my long-standing use of their ************************* response, Premium Parking agreed to void two of the citations but maintained that the remaining three would each carry a $20 administrative fee, totaling $60. Their reply stated that dispute decisions are final, leaving no option for further dialogue or resolution. While I appreciate their partial accommodation, I believe Premium Parking could have shown greater flexibility given the context: Ive been a customer for over five years without prior incidents, and the license plate error was clearly a one-time, good-faith mistake.Additionally, this outcome may cost them my ongoing business. My employer is now covering the cost of a monthly parking subscription, but they will not reimburse past citation or administrative fees. If the $60 is not waived, I will need to park with a different provider. That means Premium Parking stands to lose $120/month or approximately $1,440/year in future business over a one-time administrative ********** filing this complaint in hopes that Premium Parking will reconsider their rigid stance and fully waive the remaining fees.Business Response

I paid for a monthly parking pass and made the honest mistake of not assigning the correct license plate. Once I realized it, I fixed it immediately. Despite having an active subscription the whole time, Premium Parking issued multiple citations and after a review, they still stuck me with $60 in administrative fees.
Ive used their system without a single issue for over five years. This was clearly a one-time mistake. Instead of recognizing that and doing the decent thing, they decided to nickel-and-dime a loyal customer and lose out on $120 a month going forward, all over $60 in pointless fees.
Congrats on the short-term win, Premium Parking. Hope the $60 was worth it.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Theres not much more I can say. Even large corporations understand the value of showing basic grace to retain loyal customers. Apparently, ******************************************* doesnt.Ive used your system for over five years without a single issue. Then I lost access to my firms parking lot when P2830 was shut down for construction. As compensation, my company offered to reimburse me for monthly parking. Thats $120 per month, easily covered by my employer. It doesnt come out of my pocket, and I was more than willing to continue using your service long term.
But in the first week of subscribing, I was hit with multiple tickets because the wrong license plate was assigned to the subscription. The subscription itself allows up to three license plates, and I had exactly three registered to my account. The issue was that the plate I parked with wasnt specifically selected on the subscription, which is a confusing and over-complicated design flaw. I clearly wasn't trying to game the system, and I obviously wasnt parking with either of the other two vehicles.
Any reasonable person would assume I bought the subscription for the car that was actually parked there. If this were the old days, there would have been a paper ticket on the windshield and a human being to talk to. Instead, I had to go back and forth over email for a month, only to be told I owe $60 in administrative fees. Thats not customer **********************. Thats a digital trap with no exit.
And heres the worst part. That $60 actually comes out of my pocket. My employer reimburses my subscription, but not citations or fines. So while the $120 monthly fee doesnt impact me personally at all, this $60 charge does. It stings. You chose to keep a one-time penalty rather than retain a customer who would have paid $1,440 per year without a second thought.
Its only a minor inconvenience for me to walk an extra block to work. But its a major statement about how little this company values fairness, loyalty, or basic logic. *** already switched to a competitor where the monthly rate is half the cost. (*****************************************************************)
Lets be clear. This wasnt a little friction. It was a complete failure in customer ********************** and common sense. Ive left a review reflecting my experience and will continue to warn others.
That said, if Premium Parking chooses to do the right thing and fully resolve this, Id be willing to return. Its the most convenient spot for my office, and Id even be open to updating my review to reflect that the issue was eventually handled with integrity. But if not, the lost business and the public feedback will remain.
Hope the $60 was worth it.
Regards,
**** ********

I paid for two hours of parking. I was parked for just over 1 hour. They are claiming I never paid for parking and they are trying to charge me $135.00. I have sent in proof that I paid for the parking and they will not respond to my emails. This company is a total scam.Business Response

05/16/2025 The is a parking ticket issue. I paid the parking fee ($4.61) and I received a ticket ($30). I tried to follow up. The information of the ticket was incorrect, the phone number was incorrect. The website was incorrect. All they could tell me on the phone was that the issued the ticket and I have not real recourse to dispute it.Business Response

I paid to park in a lot operated by Premium Parking via their app and received proof of purchase. However, I was later sent a ticket, claiming that I had not paid to park. They also alleged that unpaid tickets would be sent to collections, stating that my car may be booted or impounded.I submitted a formal contest for my ticket via their online portal (as directed) on 5/6/2025, providing my proof of purchase, and was told that I would receive a verdict via email within 72 business hours. It is now 5/15/2025past the due date for the discounted rateand I have not received any contact from Premium Parking. I also revisited their online portal and received a message that my contest was being reviewed.Through some online research (Reddit, scam reporting sites, etc.), Premium Parking has an alleged reputation for sending inaccurate/false ticketsoften en masseto customers who have paid for their ***********************. Between this and my personal experience, I am concerned that my vehicle will be unjustly booted or impounded without warning.Business Response

On 3/20/25, I parked in a downtown ***********, I scanned the ** code on the posted parking sign, clicked checkout as guest, entered all information required and paid. I then received a text stating parking was paid and what time it was valid till. Then about a month later I received the attached invoice saying I did not pay parking and now owe $75. I contacted the city of ******* and was told they do not have a ticket for me and this was a scam and frequent complaint they have received with this company that when scanning the ** code to pay, you will then get an invoice later. I was advised to file a complaint with BBB to seek a resolution of getting this voided/removed sine parking was paid.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern,Parking Invoice #******** | License Plate: ****** I am writing to formally appeal the parking citation referenced above, issued on May 5, 2025, for an alleged violation at *********************. While the citation indicates that my vehicle exited the garage at 1:11:28 AM EDT on May 4, 2025, I respectfully request this violation be dismissed due to circumstances entirely beyond my control.I returned to my vehicle well within the allotted time and attempted to exit the garage promptly. However, I and numerous other drivers became trapped in the garage for nearly two hours due to severe inefficiencies and malfunctions in the garage's exit system. The congestion was so extreme and prolonged that it required the intervention of local police authorities to manage the situation and restore traffic ******* is critical to emphasize that during this time, I was not willfully overstaying or violating parking terms. I was unable to exit the garage due to conditions directly caused by the facilitys mismanagement. I was physically obstructed from leaving and thus should not be held liable for an infraction that occurred solely because I was detained against my will.Furthermore, the distress caused by this incident was significant, resulting in heightened anxiety and emotional discomfort. I trust that your office acknowledges that a customer should not be penalized when the ********************** facility itself fails to provide a functioning and efficient means of ******* light of these facts, I kindly request the cancellation of this citation. I have enclosed the documentation provided with the citation, which shows a clear discrepancy between entry and exit times, reflecting an unreasonable delay inconsistent with normal garage usage. I am confident that a review of any incident reports from that evening, including any law enforcement involvement, will corroborate the circumstances described herein. I am disputing a parking violation issued by Premium Parking, despite having paid for my session in good faith and within the appropriate time frame. I am seeking a full dismissal of the violation based on proof of payment and minor, unintentional data entry errors.Complaint Details:On April 25, 2025, I paid for 3 hours of parking with Premium Parkingfrom 7:38 PM to 10:38 PMusing my **** card ending in 6625. I am attaching a copy of the receipt confirming the time of payment and that the transaction was processed successfully. However, I was later issued a $90 parking violation, which I formally disputed on May 5th. In response, Premium Parking offered to reduce the fine to $50, stating that while it was not their error, they were willing to split the violation fee with me to balance accountability with ****** I appreciate the gesture, but I believe this penalty is still unjustified. The violation was issued solely due to two small, honest typos I made when entering my information into the Premium Parking app:I mistakenly entered the parking space as P3521 instead of the correct P2350.I mistyped one letter on my license plateentering an "X" instead of a "Z".Despite these errors, my payment clearly corresponds to the correct timeframe and location. The space and license plate information I entered were not maliciously falsified or left blank; they were simply mistyped. The system received the payment, and no other driver would have been affected by my use of the space.I respectfully request that Premium Parking waive this citation in full, given that I paid the required fee and made every good faith effort to comply with the rules. A penalty in this case feels disproportionate, especially for a first-time, unintentional mistake backed by a verifiable payment.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Business Response

On March 3, 2025, Premium Parking charged me for parking based on license plate camera footage. However, their system does not tell the full story. I explained to them that if they review their security camera footage, they will see that we were only briefly stoppedno more than two minutes. When we saw that the rate was approximately $30 for just 30 minutes, we decided to leave immediately. I have also attached a ****** Maps screenshot showing the route I took through the area.Their license plate cameras do not include time stamps covering the full journey from lot P0401 to lot P0405, nor do they account for the roughly *************************** bumper-to-bumper traffic on **************** near ***************. Despite this, they claim I was in the lot for over 10 minutes. However, it appears they are combining the time spent passing through multiple lots (P0401 and P0405) and the time spent in standstill traffic on *****************I respectfully request that they review their full security camera footage to verify the timeline and confirm that we only parked for approx 2 minutes.Business Response

I have used this parking garage at ************************************************************** twice/week since September 2024 with no issues until January 2025. I log in my license number at KORT rehab center each time for 3 hours free parking. As of January 2025 I have received 5 citations for the reason of "no permit". Each citation carried a $60 fine. Thinking I may have forgotten to log in I paid these fines for January 23 & 30 by checks which totaled $120. I appealed the charges to no avail. The admin at KORT rehab made a call & got these charges forgiven however I have not received a refund. I have tried numerous times to contact the company via online messages & phone calls none of which were helpful. I then received notices for February 4,6 & 11 of 2025.These have been appealed & denied. I have not paid these last 3 citations. I realized I was typing in the letter O when it may be a zero. (GOR734 or G0R734) After I began using the zero I have not received anymore citations. But it seems there was no problem using the letter O between September-December. I feel I was wrongly charged & should receive a full refund. This garage offers 3 hours of free parking which was never exceeded. I have pictures provided by the company that show time in & out. This discrepancy between zero & O should not be an issue. Thank you for any assistance in this matter. ***** I am not able to scan documents but can mail or bring to you if necessary.Business Response
