My license plate number is 918 FAL. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a copy of the citation, because the agent removed the sticker from my window once I asked for his name and who I could contact regarding this matter. But, I do have a picture of his license plate if you want me to provide that?Business Response
Date: 07/27/2023
Hi ******,
We have checked our entire database for plate 918FAL. We are seeing no record of this boot. Are you certain you have the right parking company? Our competitor, Premier Parking often gets confused with our name of Premium Parking.
Please send the location address or location # (ex. P1234) to ********************************************************. Please put "MK requested" in the subject line.
Prior to doing so, please review the credit card you paid with and ensure that you paid Admiral *************************** will continue to investigate once we have received confirmation of the address or location #.
Lastly, include the date of your immobilization.

Hi *******,
Thanks for sending the receipt. I see you paid for parking on 07/21 at P406.
I am speaking with the enforcement company and asking them to research this.
How did you pay for the boot removal? Do you have any bank statement showing you paid? If so, can you send it to *********************************************************?
Were you booted on 07/21 or 07/22?
I simply need more information. I want to see this through for you.

Better Business Bureau:
I returned to the car at approximately 1:30am-2:30am on July 22, 2023 and the boots were on the car. As soon as I went to call to have them removed the driver showed up and removed the sticker in the window and the 1st boot (once I questioned why my receipt wasnt accepted and who he was). Then he instructed me to walk to an atm to retrieve the cash to pay for the removal, because he would only except cash. I have the transaction in the account that I used banking statement and a picture of the removal technician license plate but that is all.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This complaint is against Premium Parking Service, LLC. I parked in garage at ********************************************* (*****) on 6/15/23. Received a ticket in the mail on 6/28/23 (Ticket #*******, Plate BKB1437). Unpaid parking $16. Ticket amount $65. Total $81 I am prepared to pay the unpaid parking of $16. But I believe $65 is an unreasonable penalty for several reasons stated below. I appealed with an unsuccessful result, as informed by Premium 7/16/23. Here was my appeal..."I have successfully parked in this lot 3 times in the past 18 months as a customer of ******************************************* (Conf ********, ********, ********* and guest of office building tenant XXXX at *********************************************. Same white ****** Murano as before, but ** had a mandatory license plate change in 2022. My car is no longer 87AF75, but now BKB1437. "On 6/15/2023 I thought I had input the P3706 information, the same as I had done the other 3 times. Through my Premium app. And added the tenant XXXX discount. I don't know why it is not showing, and I am now receiving a ticket."I appreciate your consideration in removing this ticket charge and applying the parking fee through my credit card on file.I have since added my new license plate into the ********************** app. I would appreciate if BBB would contact Premium parking on this matter and for Premium to provide a reasonable response. Which would be to simply accept the parking fee of $16 and remove the penalty of $65.Business Response

Invoice # - ******* - See invoice in attachments. Also in attachments a word doc with GLIDEPARCS response to my dispute. Explanation: On July 4th, 2023, I went to see a move at the theater located on *********************************************. This was my first time in this theater and wasn't sure about the parking situation. As I entered the parking area, there wasn't a parking booth, a parking barrier with a machine to dispense a parking ticket, not even a parking officer instructing customers to pay-to-park. I began looking for the theater and once there I saw a small open parking area and notice several parking spots available. I did not see any signs with instructions on where/how to pay to park there. I assumed that it was ok to park there and proceeded to the theater to enjoy the movie. When movie was over, I came to my car and there was parking invoice on my windshield for $21.00 plus a $50.00 Fee for failure to Pay. The total was $71.00. I contacted GLIDEPARCS, by phone, immediately, to resolve this situation, but no one answered. I came home, went to GLIDEPARCS website and submitted a dispute; which they denied. The business model of GLIDEPARCS is misleading and abusive. They are managing a parking lot, with no booths, no parking worker, and no sings instructing customers to pay-to-park. I would've gladly paid to park in that lot, had I seen a sign instructing me to pay to park. I did not fail to pay, GLIDEPARCS failed to post signs, to have at least a Parking Officer providing instructions on how to pay. ** GOV has pay-to-park spots all over the city, but they have clear sings and paying booths, visible to customers. Most parking facilities in ** have barriers and a ticket dispenser as customers enter parking facilities. Why is GLIDEPARCS allowed to have customers guess the where/how to pay-to-park. I don't want to think that GLIDEPARCS is doing this on purpose because it is way more profitable.Customer Answer

I Parked at a lot and attempted to pay via the lot (P2882 ) app. The app does not function properly, I attempted several more times only for the same issue to occur. Not sure how else to provide payment if the app fails. I was issued a $85.00 ticket which is unreasonable considering I made every effort to pay for parking. I'm in the military and would not attempt to avoid my responsibility, I have no problem paying for parking, I just need the resources from the lot owner to do so. A few buddies of mine experienced the same issue, Please repair your app or have a working machine that will allow for payment, Thank you,Customer Answer

I don't have any documents to submit. I didn't take a screenshot of the app malfunctioning, Not sure what I could submit. As I'm sure the company should be aware of how their app has failed.Business Response

Partnered with Premium Parking, we paid to park at a downtown lot and received a parking ticket during that time. I've tried to call and speak to management and they will not call me back. They also told me it was my problem and that I could go through the steps to dispute it. I should not have to dispute when I have proof I paid and was ticketed during that time, all using the Premium Parking software. I expect a refund and for this ticket to be removed by the staff that are being paid for their time. I also expect them to fix the website issue that doesn't allow temp tags to be put into the system, and honor their own option to enter vehicle make, model and color. They specifically said their ticketing agents are NOT trained in the fact that temp tags will not show ** in their own system... which is lazy and bad for the customers.Initial Complaint

Paid to park, website would not accept temp tag (temporary license plate). I selected the available option on website "I don't know my license plate" which prompted entering my vehicle make, model, and color. I was paid to park for 2 hours, ending at 11:55am. I came back to find a ticket on my vehicle at 11:15am, while my parking was still valid. I followed the ** code link on the ticket to dispute and the link goes to a dead page. I called several times and the company line rings about 4 minutes and then hangs up on you with no message option. Finally, we emailed and were told to waste our time to correct their mistake by filing dispute paperwork. I have the proof that we paid and were ticketing during that time, and the company won't fix it. I also asked to be contacted by management and have yet to receive that call.At this point, I'd never recommend parking with this company, nor would I use their services again. I'm expecting a refund and for their own staff to fix the incorrect citation. They also need to update their website to accept other plate options, and honor that choice by training their employees to check their own system for my VALID parking information.Business Response

Premium Parking used my parking lot exit time as an excuse to ticket me $93 for unpaid parking, however I DID pay my parking fee and have receipt of that. I had pulled out of my purchased space on time, but I stopped in the lot itself to speak to my partner on the phone before exiting onto the highway. The camera recorded the exit time, and fined me by mail!! I do not believe this is legal, especially considering the terms of purchase. According to the purchase agreement, it does not say I must vacate the lot when my time is up, it only mentions the parking space. They unlawfully cited me and I am currently disputing this. This happened in *********, **, with Premium Parking being based in ***********.Customer Answer

My business is a fishing charter service located at ********* ****** in ******, *******. Every single slip rented there is a separate business as mine is. This ****** has no right of way access, there is no driveway, we have to use the next door ****** and restaurant's parking lot to drive THROUGH to our businesses. This ridiculous out of town, pay-to-park, "**************************" uses cameras which are supposed to record your entry and exit. However, the cameras at hwy 98 when you enter their parking lot failed to record my truck coming into that lot, then it recorded me LEAVING THEIR LOT AND ENTERING ********* ******, and then again when I left ********* ****** and re-entered their lot (to leave), and of course it failed to record me leaving their lot for good to go home as their cameras are broken. YOU CAN'T EVEN GET TO OUR ****** WITHOUT DRIVING THROUGH THEIR LOT, WHICH WE all DO EVERY SINGLE DAY! (Because our ****** ***** pays them over $75,000 PER YEAR JUST TO DRIVE THROUGH THEIR LOT to get to our ******. I have told them their cameras are ****, they are broken, many of the other tenants at our ****** have received tickets as well. I got a ticket that threatens me, says I owe $85.00, and I HAVE NEVER PARKED THERE. EVER. Scammers, they are threatening everybody to pay when none of us have violated any parking rule. They should be shut down.Customer Answer

I parked in a Premium Parking garage that was automated and the signage regarding paying for parking was not very clear. The signage was "Pay by license plate" which is also a Toll collection program in MD where the system takes a picture of your license plate and invoices you. Instead, I guess I was supposed to pay via my license plate but I did not even encounter any payment stations when I entered or exited the garage. They sent me a violation in the mail for an additional $65 ticket + the parking amount ($24) which I feel is an excessive fee for 1 hour of parking (Total: $89).When i reached out to them for appeal, they sent me pictures of any lot by accident that had MUCH clearer signage but they are unwilling to cancel the ticket fee. I will happily pay the $24 parking but a fee of almost 3x that is completely egregious.Customer Answer

I paid parking on June 5th (confirmation number ********), received text notifications multiple times for payment confirmation and reminder that parking time was up June 6 at 1:42pm (20 hours later), all attached and sent as proof. Appeals website says 72 hour response. Waiting 2+ weeks. Asked to please remove citation dated June 6 at 5:33pm due to multiple forms that proof of payment was made during this time and his was in error. This is a predatory lot. Should be cited and fined immediately. Looking for confirmation I will not be charged and this will be dismissed.
