      I borrowed $10,000 dollars from Sovereign Bank account number ************. I paid it back in full in ***************************************************** recorded on my credit report as owning money. I went to the bank several time to dispute this issue and they assured me several times that it would be taken care of promptly in which it has not been done.I am disputing the issue that i owe any money to them and they need to remove this issue from the credit report entirely immediately.

      Ive never bank nor did business with Santander Im trying to open up a bank account with them and they are telling me I had a account with them I told them I never opened any account and Ive been a victim of fraud they are jeopardizing my lively hood and can t help me I advised them I can submit a ftc report and a police report due to the fraudulent account but I never requested nor opened any account I asked that they remove the fraudulent account and proceed with me opening a account with them in the near future as Im not responsible for any closed or past account as I never did business with them before or heard about this bank

      For the second time in 6 weeks, I cannot get into my Santander bank personal bank account.6 weeks ago it took a week for me to get access to ,my online account. Now, I am in the second day. I just spent an hour on the phone with customer and tech support and they couldnt help. They ended up saying they couldnt hear me and hanging up. Then I could not reach them again. They are "too busy".As this is the second time I fear I will have to change banks which will be diffiucult and time consuming as I do all of my financial business with them.

      This company advised me that they would work with me to catch up payments that I was behind on due to job loss. They repossessed my vehicle just one week after I had make arrangements with them. Now they expect me to pay off my loan to get my vehicle back. They need to be shut down!

      I purchased a car in September and Delarship processed a loan through Santander bank. I paid downpayment and other fees and enrolled in autopay. I have attached screenshot of autopayment portal. I noticed that even though autopayment is setup, bank did not took out payment for two month so I went online and made payment for two months and made an additional payment for the next month. Payment processed successfully, but this bank reported late payment on credit bureau. Bank also collected late payment. I called customer service and they suggested that I do not have autopayment set up at all. I asked them to give me the written confirmation but they denied it. On the bank portal, I it showes autopayment enrolled but they not on their end. My credit score dropped to 200 points and got charged late fees.

      I refinanced my car through my bank **************** I had my loan through Santander Consumer USA. Santander received the payoff check but it was missing an endorsement they said, reversed, returned. In order for Wings to reissue a check they needed the physical check back. I spoke to multiple people at Santander asking them to send the check back. Still no physical check has been sent back. Today they said they will call me letting me know if the check will be sent back or shredded. I asked for a email confirmation on the shredding of the check and they said no we only give you our word. Wings said I will have to sign a addendum but if Santander cashes that check I will be responsible for that amount also. I dont understand why Santander is giving me a hard time and just send the physical check back. It will cost them a couple dollars. Santander is very difficult to work with and the people who answer the phone have no answers.

      Hello ***, I am reaching out to you as I am an unhappy customer that has been dealing with your employees and their lack of intelligence on a claim that was filed for $5,938.00 and I feel that your back is just being stubborn and will not return my funds that are rightfully mine. I have filed a complaint against Santander for the above mentioned amount in Roxbury District Court and the hearing date is 3/1/24. I I was scammed/defrauded by a company called *****'s at the Braintree mall, on 12/21/23 by taking an amount off my debit card that I was not aware of nor did I approve for skin care products. I received a fraud email after the fact and immediately contacted the bank to let them know that I did not authorize these charges. The first and initial claim filed was on 12/21. I contacted the bank the following day to request an expedited credit and that was denied on 12/29/23. The representative that I spoke with on that day expressed, I could only open up another claim if I had contacted the merchant which I had expressed that I had contacted the merchant several times. I returned to the mall with the merchandise and contacted the ********* police to assist and ****** me into the mall. I am working with Sgt. ****** at the *************************** and Chief ********* - who I have cc'd on the email. To add insult to injury - do to the banks lack of interest in giving me a provincial credit and the manager of *****'s lying to the police that he over charged for products that were to be issued on a monthly payment plan and that I was to be charged $40.00 for and instead charged my card three times per the charge alert email that was sent to me. I will forward that information to you. Filed several claims with documentation, one with the merchant admitting faule and they still deniened the claim. I am not in agreement how the bank is handling the situation.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      [The complaint has not been resolved by Satisfaction on my behalf, due to the fact that the many claims that I have filed against the actual merchant have not been resolved. As I have previously provided the Bank evidence that I was scammed by the *************************** ~ which is a subsidiary ******* of ******* and *********** Santander, should have had my best interest as a consumer/ customer and they failed miserably. Each claim was denied based upon myself as the customer not being in contact with the merchant. After showing several emails and documents that I would be reimbursed by merchant if I would not file a claim with the bank. Its of my opinion due to the nature of the claim amount they never had interest in a positive resolution. I also see the amount of complaints Santander has within your office.

      Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

      I withdrew cash from an ATM. I selected checking however it was withdrawn from my savings account. I withdrew $200 & $203 was deducted from my account. I was also charged an additional $3. Normally with my checking account I don't get charged any ATM fees. I contacted Santander to inform them of the problem. That my savings was withdrawn when I selected checking. I made 4 phone calls & no one at Santander understood the problem or was willing to help me. To this day this problem remains unresolved. The transaction has never been corrected.

      The date of contact is incorrect. I didnt speak to anyone on 2/12/24. My last call was last Friday 2/8/24. However I was able to solve the issue with Santander Bank during that conversation.


      I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.
