Back in march 2022 I was reported late to the credit bureaus by Santander bank. I made a payment in full in January 2022 , but I wasnt aware of interest charges that had accrued on the account. I have never been late with Santander bank nor was I aware of accrued interest charges since I made the payment in full. I currently have a late/missed payment on my account which is affecting my score, and resulted in more score dropping 90 points. Im currently trying to get a mortgage and the late/missed payment is affecting my score drastically.I need a correction on my credit report to all three credit bureaus where Im no longer reported late so I can proceed with obtaining a mortgage. Once again. I've had alot of money stolen from me from banks before. This bank is now attempting to take unaccounted for just about 80$ from my account and give me some speal about numbers. I shall be going into the branch tomorrow to settle this but again this is not the first time I've had problems with this bank. I just want to be left alone and stop being stalked. I work hard and for someone to cheat and steal from me and my family is not okay I would like some type of audit or something to be put into place 24/7Business Response

I am not aware of this account. I have reached out to EQUIFAX ************** and with SANTANDER to have this account removed from my file and they are always saying the same excuse, which is no longer acceptable. I have filed this as an outcome of Identity Theft. Regardless of all actions done on my end, there was no action from EQUIFAX ************** Thus, I am reaching out to seek assistance to have SANTANDER confirm that I have no account with them and that the EQUIFAX ************* can simply remove it from my credit report.Business Response

I ************************* have bee trying to get my refund of $2,118.68 from Santander for over 2 weeks they erroneously debited my checking account twice for my mortgage payment of Dec. 1, 2022. They have given me several stories today was the last straw, ************** Director of the mortgage ***** told me I should have had my refund on 12/5/2022. I have left several messages for her, to no avail. This is a simple fix, Santander has given me the run around, now they are telling me they are mailing me a check and it is going to take 7 days, they are charging me with shortages on my escrow even after I have paid it down. I have never experience such unprofessionalism from a federal institution. These times are hard enough I need my money $2,118.68 this has been traumatic for me I have bills to pay, this is unacceptable this issue needs to be addressed.Business Response

Filed for divorce financial lending company stated that they could not remove my name from the financing contract, had divorce paperwork stating ex husband was to take over said loan, not only did he violate contract with them, but also divorce decree contract as well.Business Response

I received a notice that I have a collection from SANTANDER on my credit report. It says it was opened on10/28/2020 for $1,932 with account number starting in ***************** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. My mother wired me money internationally from ICBC to my Santander Account for my living expenses. She and I complied with all laws and regulations and provided all information to both ICBC and Santander. Santander has held the money without providing sufficient reasons. Its wire department is unwilling to engage with me and kicks the problem around. I have used Santander for the past 10 years and most of the wire transfers, including those that were large in dollar amount, arrived smoothly.
