Very disappointed in Liberty Mutual and ******* with regards to their offer to settle my UMBI claim. Sever impact. Totaled the car. My daughter that is 19 blacked out on impact. She was pushed into another car. Diagnosed with a mold concussion and whiplash. No more treatment because I didnt want to run up medical bills but she did suffer and she was in pain. They didnt even offer ****. Their offer is not fair and reasonable in relate to the damages to the car and the severity of the impact. Forcing my to seek council and possibly *** my own insurance carrierLiberty Mutual Group

Will say this again....I never got treated like this trash in my whole entire life. First and foremost, I was not at fault and the police report will answer to that. Second of all, I was hurt and they were not willing to help and be responsible enough to do their job all because of one tiny reason - address issue which was CORRECTED. Third and last of all, I was an excellent payer. I never missed a payment. So, to deny my claim, you do not deserve any one's money to pay your disrespecting, worst company to ever deal with. I regret to have you as my car insurance company since 2020.Liberty Mutual Group

1 starWorst insurance company ever. I hit a deer turned in a claim have gotten 4 different estimates. Starting from $10,365 up to $****** is the last one. Have asked for my value of my car was told that they wouldn't give it to me. finally had to call my bank and talk to the lady in charge of the totaled cars she was good enough to get me the info I needed. So the value of my car is $15,000 damages total ******. The guy above my claims adjuster lied to me on the phone about the percentage the go by to decide if the car is totaled. Fully believe they are treating me this way because I am a female. I have made my concerns about putting my family in a repaired vehicle that should have been totaled. My husband is disabled and if am the only one that works and this is are only car. Told them it needed to be made right and was told pick up your car and trade it in. Would not recommend this company to any one. Company that fixed the car also did it with out me signing any thing. Nothing but a money scam. Run as fast as you can and switch companies. 1 starRidiculous inconsiderate insurance company with all means!!! If anyone is looking for renter's insurance, Please avoid them. This Company has to be closed and serious action needs to be taken against them from the assigned authorities. We received a mandatory evacuation order in Volusia County due to Tropical ***********************. We tried to minimize our additional living expenses as much as possible and then when we filed a claim, I was told that they can not reimburse me for additional expenses because there is a deductible that applies. What deductible are they talking about!!! this is an emergency matter and there was a mandatory evacuation order!!! To me, it meant that they are telling people STAY HOME DURING DISASTERS AND DIE because we will not help you by any ways!!!! They even do not care about Customers at all!!! All what they want is to prove that you disqualify for any payments from the company!!!! I hope my review reaches the assigned authorities and take serious actions with this horrible company!!!!!!!Review fromSara H

1 starAbsolutely appalled! If I could give 0 stars, I would. In May we were informed our coverage was being cancelled in **** due to the frequency of claims which, to be honest, were normal claims for an everyday driver. Not an issue, however. This is your right as a company to make this decision. So - after receiving this letter, I immediately found a new insurance through Geico. I pay my supposedly LAST **** payment to Liberty Mutual. Fast forward to recently where we are being told we still owe a payment! Please tell me how this is fair? Our coverage is ** in ****** **** was paid. YOU dropped US! So now I'm paying for coverage that was not given?! And furthermore I am double-paying as I starting paying my new insurance payment at the end of May. A **** shame this is how you treat customers of whom were never once late for a payment. I will never use your company again. 1 starStay away from them absolutely not worth time or money. The reason being is that I added third vehicle to my existing policy, and they created a separate (2nd) policy and charged me extra $60 for FOUR months (until I figured out what was happening). When I called and asked for those two policies to be combined into one so I can get discounts on all vehicles, they did it, but refused to refund me my $240 that they overcharged me by not giving me discounts. Sure enough, when my policy ran out, I switched to a different insurance company. So, they lost close to $4K/yr (thats how much I was supposed to pay for the next policy renewal) in order to keep my $240!!! Not a smart business move Never againReview fromMelvin D.

1 starI thought they were a good insurance company, but they're not. They labeled my claim a collision when in fact it should have been comprehensive even other insurance companies agents said the same on a stationary object in a storm with no visibility based on the power being out in the back roads of the country. Now my insurance will be higher for 3 years. I'll be contacting a lawyer to see what actions I can take.Review fromElizabeth A

Horrible. I was paying over $300 a month for full coverage and better car replacement. I got into an accident that wasnt my fault, and aside from the rental car they were trying to figure out how to get out of paying for it from day one. It was five days before I even knew my adjusters name and she only called to take a recorded statement from me. After another four days with no word I sent a message to them through FB and was finally contacted the following day so they could inform me that an accident investigator would be calling me because apparently there was something suspicious. The police certainly didnt agree since I didnt even get a ticket. A week later the investigator cleared it and I finally heard from my adjuster again to offer me much less than my car was worth. I had better car replacement and receipts for new tires, custom black rims and basically a whole new front end from less than six months earlier, they said it was in excellent condition, but they offered me $3000 less than any comparable car within 300 miles of me. They wouldnt extend the rental after they made that insultingly low offer, their way of bullying me into accepting it. Im a widow who lives 35 minutes from the nearest store and theres no public transportation here, and I couldnt get a running car anywhere with what they paid me. The accident was on 9/27. Today 11/16 I get a letter from the place they towed my car to telling me theyve relinquished all rights and I can have it back, but Liberty left it there for 48 days before relinquishing it, so I owe $1200 in storage fees alone as of two days ago. Its $25 a day and the place is 4 hours away. My car will be auctioned because I dont have the $1600 to pick it up because I still have to pay people for rides everywhere thanks to Liberty. My passenger missed work due to injuries and it took him over a week to even get his adjusters name. Full coverage, better car replacement, and my passenger and I both lost thousands.Liberty Mutual Group

Absolutely the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. The raise rates nearly monthly. I was a licensed agent for 5 years nor with them thank goodness and I've never seen such a crooked company in all my years. I cannot wait to cancel my policy with them. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.Liberty Mutual Group
