      Absolutely terrible customer service. The right track program is a complete scam. They make you believe theyre helping you with discounts and then at the end they bill you for it.(Even though I paid my entire auto policy for the year). When you call to solve the issue they tell you theres nothing they can do, but ask you a million times if you would like to pay the balance. Multimillion dollar company and theyre scamming over thousands of hard working people for more money. Its absolutely disgusting.

      Complete scam, poor communication, zero transparency. DO NOT USE. After receiving a collection for a policy that was canceled before closing. I called safeco to inquire about the collection. I was fed false information and only excuses about why i was not contacted before it was sent to collection. The guy answering the call admitted that he knew nothing about the home buying process. This is a huge red flag for a home insurance company. He told me conflicting information for nearly half an hour before i decided to not deal with the headache and just pay the 70 dollar collection. I hope this does not affect my credit.

      Liberty Mutual does not honor the accident forgiveness. An accident that wasn't our fault and we were told there would not be an increase in our premium. Guess what? We have an increase in our premium. Will be shopping for another insurance company.

      I pay over $465 a month in premiums and received less than desirable service when my husband made a claim on his truck after hitting a deer. ****** didnt want to pay what the body shop quoted. We got a rental car and then got a bill for the extra days from the rental agency because the body shop wasnt done with the truck. Now ****** says they wont pay. It was no fault of our own. This has been a maddening, horrible experience. I will be looking for a new insurance company.

      Liberty Mutual discriminates against senior citizens. I had a homeowners policy from 2011 till 2018 and then they would not renew my policy because they said I was in a wild fire area. I have never made any claims against my policy. It is now 2022 and I am looking for insurance again so I asked what my neighbors have and they both have Liberty Mutual. The only difference between my neighbors and me is that I am a senior citizen and a minority.

      We traded in our 2009 Jeep and bought a 2022 Jeep. Liberty Mutual sent the dealer a copy of an insurance card showing the new vehicle on it and the dealer provided us a copy. **. Plates were issued and financing was put in place. That was on July 29, 2022. On Nov. 6 2022 we received notice from Ct. DMV that the registration on the new car would be cancelled due to lack of insurance. Indeed , Liberty Insurance confirmed that they never changed our policy. The new car was driven without insurance for the past few months . The changes have now been made . We are now faced with a $ ****** fine and having to provide several new documents to the **** HOW could this happen? That is fraud- to us, the dealership, the finance company and the Ct. **** BE WARNED !

      I filed an auto claim for damage from vandalism on 09/27/2022. My vehicle was towed while the claims representative tried to find a guaranteed repair shop to start process of getting claim estimate and fixing the vehicle. The damage to my vehicle included broken ignition system parts, replacement of wheel cover, and repair to smashed rear window (including broken glass clean-up). I was informed that the representative called over ten guaranteed repair auto shops and none had availability to repair my vehicle.The dealership service center has had minimal communication with me about when parts were ordered or arrived. After no response from the mechanic after a week and half, I called again today and asked to speak with a service manager; they said it could be anywhere from 1-3 months until they had the glass from back order to repair the window. I was not informed, however, that all the other parts had arrived in-house. I was told that Liberty Mutual is not liable for delayed repairs and lack of communication from dealership service center because it is out-of-network. However, they told me initially that they needed to send to out-of-service network due to unavailability of guaranteed repairs shops. For this, I believe in fact that Liberty Mutual does have responsibility for lack of timely repairs.It is now 11/07/2022 and NO repairs have been started on my vehicle. I do not plan to file an auto claim in the future with Liberty Mutual and am strongly considering switching car insurance companies. This whole process has been confusing, difficult, and painstakingly long. I understand my policy at the time of claim did not cover rental reimbursement, but I believe I am still entitled to timely repairs and more communication.

      This company is a scam. Just because inflation is high, economy is collapsing does not give this company the right to do people wrongly. Customer service is a nightmare! You cannot get ahold of the people you need to & I believe they do this purposefully. They do not follow up the way they should. Im currently in the process of trying to figure out how to *** this company. They refuse to pay out legitimate claims for accidents that are clean cut as of fault even if its a few hundred bucks! I honestly do not know how they get away with what they are doing to hard working Americans. They accept policies for addresses that are empty lots with no houses on them which seems to me would be allowing fraud. This company is a joke, a scam, a ripoff. They should be ashamed & I pray I can either get the word out to other potential customers along with suing them. My best advice to the public, if someone totals your vehicle, its their ************ supposedly have this insurance especially with fake names/addresses, have an ambulance take u away whether youre hurt or not because thats the ONLY way you will get your vehicle repaired. All theyll do is lie to you & give you the run around. Youll have to end up suing & youll have to be dishonest about being injured.

      My complaint to State auto on 11/5/2022 @04am I have been injured on the job. #******, I feel the Team that is supposedly helping me has not been responding nor corresponding to my emails in a timely nor professional manner. I have not received any response letting me know if the documents I signed ever were received nor did they answer my phone call.I have been upset and have more suffering added due to the very slow process and response of the claim being handled. Your website claims to help with speedy recovery and its been 25 days and I'm still waiting on professionalism and proper timely response from the team handling my case. Your website speaks of helping and making it less stressful on the person, in fact it has been the opposite. All I ask for is communication. If the team sends an email and I respond back a minute later after received, I would hope within an hour or less I would get a response. But nothing, it's been 2 days and no response, nothing saying yes we received the forms and nothing else is needed, expect a few days to process and allocation will then be distributed. And yes we received your email asking this question and here is our response. Nothing or no one says it be 2 or 3 days we will get back to you.So all of that is playing more mental stress role on recovery on me. I am behind on bills and the feeling of proper care for along with not being respected.If such delayed response time normal with your company, then identifier should be announced.I feel that my email of concern to the team last week has segregated me to be last or of no concern. I understand team members are busy with other issues beside 1 individuals, but I also feel that if it's too much for one person and the injured worker has to wait 2 days or more and get no answer on the phone, for that team member may need some help to maintain a high quality that StateAuto advertised.Quality of life of the claimant should be priority.

      Great until you get into an accident. Then salesman (**********) does not return calls but sends a link where you can handle your matter yourself--supposedly. The *** page is not comprehensive and you have to sift through many of them until you realize your concern is not there. And then there's no support from there. Every call, you are automatically re-directed to the automated system, giving me the distinct impression that they do not care to talk to their customers.
