LM has been AWEFUL with communication. Someone on their team made an error on my account when I switched policies and I was given a refund that should have never come to me. Instead of giving me a call back and owning up to the error, they put me into collections. After MANY calls to figure out the issue, a promise for resolution or explanation, it has finally been resolved. I cancelled in June and it is October. How disrespectful of their clients time and energy! No call back, no apology letter, not "we'll resolve it for you." To top it off, the last person I spoke with was terrible. They were very deadpan and said that they I would get a rep call back in 24/48 hours, then promptly hung up on me. This company is terrible internally and has made no effort to amend their mistake. Get your insurance elsewhere. Thank God I never had an accident! Who knows what that would have been like.Liberty Mutual Group

Good rates and coverage for retired folks BUT you have to do everything through their app. That never worked for us. Then our homeowners policy required us to take a video of our house, furnace, electrical service and plumbing, this was after we sent in pictures and then our agent sent in pictures. They keep hassling you after youve sent them the info. 4x we got the same email to send documentation after we did it. The app didnt work, had to drive to the agents office to get it to work. Left hand doesnt know what the right is doing. Went through a month of this BS then was so sick of getting emails for more documentation that I got fed up and canceled! Cant imagine if I had a claim with this horrible business model! Went with the Hartford.Liberty Mutual Group

Im being penalized for someone that failed to do their job correctly at Liberty Mutual. I was charged twice in one month for auto insurance. Not only being charged twice but they tried to charge my account multiple times after taking two payments. My bank notified me that this was happening and stop the charge. They have received payments for two months after this incident. No one has called, texted or emailed me that my account will be canceled. Until I look at my account this month to see my auto insurance pending cancellation for November 1st. They are canceling my auto insurance for stating ** trying to steal money from them due to my bank stopping Liberty Mutual trying to charge my account on multiple occasions. When they have already received two payments . They want me to pay over thousand dollars the remaining amount for my policy to keep my auto insurance. I have contacted Liberty Mutual on multiple occasions and was told I will have a supervisor contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Its Saturday and still no call from a supervisor. I reached out again today and the same information was stated ***** have a call from a supervisor. This is utterly unacceptable and Im being penalized for someone not being trained correctly. This is not how you treat your consumers at all.Liberty Mutual Group

Liberty mutual is not professional in any way. All representatives will leave their away voicemails active for months on end even passed the dedicated date of return. All of them do ************ ************************************. Unbelievable how incompetent grown adults can be. They lie and they dont send out checks in timely manners. BBB you just sit there and laugh watch this company destroy lives when they have the littlest importance in life other than to cut a check. Just how pathetic if I worked for liberty mutual Id feel horrible knowing how s***** of service it always is and to just think I can joyfully *** the **** out of them. But why can this review be heard just like the other million complaints why do you allow a business to operate under horrible standards. Make one this better in your life and start by making a company actually hold its value as a company. Id love to see ********************************************* go under but thats not realistically speaking. So realistically when complaints come through the BBB you should take action or I will continue to do so by leaving this review on every review possible and I will keep spamming this until it is resolved. Liberty mutual does not do things on time they do not help injured workers get there money even after the fact that they do you owe you. Its ridiculous to still be reading this is know. So what do we do? Just keep writing until we fill the blanks enough for someone of any importance to read this and understand companies like this DO NOT KEEP CREATING PROFITABLE REVENUE WHEN JUST AS MANY CASES ARE REFUSED DUE TO LIBERTY MUTUAL EMPLOYESS ENTERING INCORRECT INFORMATION AND GETTING CASES DENIED DUE TO IMPROPER FILING. Im telling you world dont talk to Liberty Mutual without legal representation they will f*** you harder than the better business bureau not helping at all with this s*** a** company you allow to still operate with open and s*** covered arms to help only 2-3 people properly and the other thousands of them they dont.Liberty Mutual Group

When selecting home owners insurance I thought Liberty mutual a big name would be a good insurance company but boy was I wrong. Save yourself the stress and tears and go somewhere else. A tree branch hit my house cracked my roof and caused water damage. they had. the first rep I had quit (apparently). the 2nd one they sent to do the inspection agreed with what happen but i rejected the amount they wanted to force on me because it would cover a fraction of the cost and now the 3rd has been useless. after over a month with water damage and a newborn in the house I am under investigation. For what you already approved me I just showed you the contractors are charging way more then you are trying to give because they do not make my roof anymore and now you are questioning what happen? its black and white I have a crack in my roof that needs to be fixed. To anyone that reads this do not give up. keep going they will try and intimate you every chance they get but keep fighting until you get what you need. I feel sorry for the people who do not have a voice that they have already taking advantage of. Shame on you Liberty mutual.Liberty Mutual Group

Had a commercial property insured with State Auto. We filed no claims, but when the policy was up for renewal, they doubled our rate! So, we found another company with a more affordable rate, then cancelled the policy with an effective cancellation of 6/1.We thought everything was over, but on 10/20 my wife received a very threatening call from a collections agency saying that we owed $1500. The woman was extremely abusive and harassing and deliberately called at 6 AM in order to wake her up.We were completely baffled because we cancelled the policy in time, but then received a response from a ***************** at State Auto insisting that we didn't cancel the policy until 6/23! She therefore insisted that the third party collections agency would continue to ****** us until we paid.We responded with the signed forms showing 6/1 as the cancellation date and our currently waiting for a resolution.However, the complete failure in missing the actual cancellation date and sending this to collections when in fact nothing was owed is unacceptable. I will never deal with this company again after this treatment.Liberty Mutual Group

They are absolutely horrible! Ive never dealt with such an unprofessional company or claims adjuster. My car was hit by a distracted driver in a parking lot which caused minor cosmetic damages to my vehicle. I filed through the at fault partys insurance, Library Mutual. I had originally filed through my insurance however Liberty Mutual wouldnt reply to my insurance after about a month of trying. My insurance suggested I just file as uninsured since the at fault partys insurance couldnt be reached. Filing uninsured tho with my insurance would cost me a huge deductible. I decided to personally reach out to Liberty. Surprisingly, I was able to get in contact with someone at Liberty Mutual and I filed through them. After about a month and a half later I was finally able to bring my vehicle in for repairs. The process took so long for something so small because the claims adjuster could only be reached here and there. The claims adjuster never replied to my voicemails, sometimes replied to my emails and I believe only twice answered my calls. Even when I reached out regarding my rental which was on a timeline the claims adjuster never responded. Even the main call centers are not that professional and sound like they hate their job. I understand people get busy but this is something else. This is just pure carelessness because Im not a paying customer. No other ********************************************* Ive had to deal with has acted this way. My suggestion is to take your money elsewhere. There are way better companies out there who will actually handle their responsibilities professionally. *** unfortunately had my car hit twice before this. I was not at fault in either and both partys insurances were very professional. Their insurance companies handled my claims quickly, professionally and were there when I needed them.Liberty Mutual Group

Company is attempting to charge for services not rendered, they stole money from my checking account and are giving us the runaround about return payment . ********** my wife and charging us for money not owed !!! Several calls have been made to company representatives all ending in extreme frustration. All attempts to get refund money have failed and they are trying to bill again for service not received the behavior of this company is criminal and they need to be held accountable !!Liberty Mutual Group
