My homeowners is escrowed with the mortage. Yesterday my personal bank account got deducted the months payment. Got in touch with safeco and I was told at some point the payer was changed from the mortage company to me. Now the homeowners has never been authorized to pay out of my personal account. They are now refusing refunding me until payment is received from the mortage company. Beware of ******.Liberty Mutual Group

I had a car accident and filed a claim with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. My insurance company. The other party filed a claim through their insurance company (Allstate Insurance). Liberty Mutual claimed they inspected the dynamics of the accident and stated that they were in agreement with the other parties insurance company, which stated I was 100% at fault. After a few days I received a letter from the insured of the other party stating after careful review on their part their claim was changed to 90% my fault, 10% the other partys fault. I had to reach out to Liberty Mutual to which they never checked the email sent to them from ******** with this information. I contacted not only the claims examiner, but the Claims manager as well and was informed oh we are in agreement with the other insurance company and will change the dynamic. They went according to a front facing dashcam for a side collision. There were street cameras available to see exactly what occurred, however this was not done. If a person is paying a company to represent them, they expect proper representation. I received more representation from the other partys insurance company than my own. Be aware. I have been with them for 5 years. Again, be mindful who you choose to represent you as an insurance company.Liberty Mutual Group

Terrible!!! Took my money right away and then spent 3 of 6 months not providing the coverage. Golf cart and camper. Canceled my golf cart because they didn't know the model. After I was on the phone for an hour. Called and got that worked out and literally while I was on the phone Canceled my camper insurance due to it being parked. Agent suggested I change companies and cancel with them. So I did. They are shady and don't honor your contract. Do not use these bums.Liberty Mutual Group

Disabled veteran here, spent 45 minutes filling out my information and adjusting my coverages to exactly what I have now. My total was at 230 dollars, the website crashed, I reopened my quote and it went straight to the verify page using a third party, I go and type all my information in to pay, and wouldn't you know.... in the tiniest writing until due today 297 dollars it's says +11 payments of 290 ish dollars. Where the heck did the extra 60 a month come from. I went back and I didn't add anything else one to account for the extra *********************************** but I didn't finalize my plan. We were with this company for 5 yrs. Went to cancel our policy within the days of our renewal. After doing so they came back and said we owed them money for the last month. I proceeded to explain. To them I canceled policy in the timely manner according to what was showing on my end of the policy. The told me that's not what they have. Still says I owe them. It's supposedly billed a month in advance. How can you pay a month in advance for car insurance when you haven't used it yet. This is not legal. They are complete scammers.Liberty Mutual Group

They add drivers, that you did not request and don't I've in your house and are not your children, increase you payments 4x what they should be. I tried to have it fixed they kept changing prices that don't make since. Now they cause a late payment because you have fix the problem and now they say you have to pay off the remainder of the policy. Bad businessLiberty Mutual Group

2 different adjusters and the roofers agree that we should get a new roof. ******, **********, and their parent company Liberty Mutual are all arguing about which subsidiary will cover it and the roof continuity leak. 8 months later. Avoid them at all costs. They all agree a new roof is due because of storm damage but they wont pay. Its the same company but yet no action.Liberty Mutual Group

They are the worst. They add unknown people to my auto insurance and threaten me if I don't reply back with the letter that they will add them and premium will increase. I called them they gave me an attitude and refused to remove the person stating that I have to reply with the letter. I said what if letter got lost, they didn't care. I had to make a police report and canceled policy with them.Liberty Mutual Group

This company is horrible in their customer service they will try not to pay the claim even when its there insured fault ! I just bought a new vehicle coming out of the dealership all excited going home while waiting for the red light to turn so I can get home with my new vehicle I was rear ended in my new vehicle the person that rear ended me said I so sorry I did not see you there of course she was on her phone texting while driving, coming to find out her insurance company is Safeco one of the worst insurance companies out there I called the police and got a report at first they were trying to claim that I was in fault then once they had no choice they kept giving me the run around for days. Finally once my car was done I asked for the diminishing value they denied my claim this shows you that these insurance companies are all a BIG SCAM ! Specially ****** now I have accident report on my vehicle just bought it for $35000 and ****** says oh well not our problem. Choose your company wisely hope no one has to go thru what I went thru with this BS company. I will do my best to let everyone know not to get Safeco as a insurance company because they will get ripped off.Liberty Mutual Group

I had 1 year of fine service (but no claims either), then got a letter saying it's time to renew, my policy only went up $1!! Since I am signed up for Automatic Payments, my Policy Declarations Letter says, "ACTION REQUIRED: PLEASE REVIEW AND KEEP FOR YOUR RECORDS." That's it. Several months had passed when I realized that the payment never came out of my account. I call...they apologize but can't explain what happened. I spend 20 minutes on the phone getting a new policy set up. Nothing happens again...no email received, no payment taken. So, I call AGAIN. After getting through the 1st ****** with no answers, the 2nd ****** just tries to get me set up on the policy. I said, "Wait, aren't you supposed to explain to me what happened?" He says, "Um..due to lack of payment, the policy was cancelled." I said, "You mean the automatic payment that was supposed to come out?!?!" Long pause...."Yes ma'am". Then I proceed to tell him the amount that's on my paperwork that I should have been charged 4 months ago, and he says, "Oh no, it won't be that low." So, he wanted me to pay more money because of their mistake?! Haha, nice try, cancel it now! Take heed, friends!Liberty Mutual Group
