I had 1 year of fine service (but no claims either), then got a letter saying it's time to renew, my policy only went up $1!! Since I am signed up for Automatic Payments, my Policy Declarations Letter says, "ACTION REQUIRED: PLEASE REVIEW AND KEEP FOR YOUR RECORDS." That's it. Several months had passed when I realized that the payment never came out of my account. I call...they apologize but can't explain what happened. I spend 20 minutes on the phone getting a new policy set up. Nothing happens again...no email received, no payment taken. So, I call AGAIN. After getting through the 1st ****** with no answers, the 2nd ****** just tries to get me set up on the policy. I said, "Wait, aren't you supposed to explain to me what happened?" He says, "Um..due to lack of payment, the policy was cancelled." I said, "You mean the automatic payment that was supposed to come out?!?!" Long pause...."Yes ma'am". Then I proceed to tell him the amount that's on my paperwork that I should have been charged 4 months ago, and he says, "Oh no, it won't be that low." So, he wanted me to pay more money because of their mistake?! Haha, nice try, cancel it now! Take heed, friends!Liberty Mutual Group

Non-renewed my SoCal homeowner's insurance policy admist the California wildfires for completely fabricated reasons (**** on our roof). Anyone that works at an rnsurance company must not have a soul.Liberty Mutual Group

Was a faithful member for 10 years with zero accidents or claims. After making one phone call with questions on my policy they were extremely rash and rude. Was told taking the 5 minute phone call to explain the policy change was a waste of company resources. Switched the next day. Found out pretty much every other company offers more coverage at a better rate. Regret not switching sooner.Liberty Mutual Group

Claims representative **** Goiffinett falsely claimed that the damages in the garage, bathroom and wall in the family room are all separate leaks and claims. Therefore making them below deductible. The floor needs to be replaced because it is warped yet he says it will look like new after time passes and does not need repair. He also claimed that the baseboard splitting from the water damage is due to the ground shifting.Liberty Mutual Group

Awful! They communicated with me about my rental however the email had the incorrect date listed. One date listed was 12/19. Another date was listed as 12/9 and I was told I should assume the employee meant 12/9. You should never assume anything and the employees should double check the information is correct prior to sending communication to their customers. Awful! Ive told everyone about their shady business and cancelled services with them. This was just the auto insurance Ive had issue with homeowners portion as well. Glad to be done with them! I make sure I warn any and everybody of this shady company.Liberty Mutual Group

We have had safco liberty mutual for over 8 years and have never submitted an auto claim. I ran over something in the road that punctured my gas tank and put a whole in the skid plate which hit the computer system of the transmission. In the end the *** dealership stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. It took over 8 weeks which over a month of that our agent refused to call us back. They eventually denied the claim stating that it was wear and tear and we could not prove it was caused from the accident. Worst people to work with, Absolutely horrible.Liberty Mutual Group

Made a claim for my car. Spoke with an agent and we talked about the damage and what the repair entails and she acknowledge everything I listed and the photos i provided. Then comes time when the claim already started and I dropped off my car for the repair to find out that the agent did not include the windshield for the repair. I then called her to ask her about this and she said I will have to file another claim to get my windshield repaired even though on our first phone call I included it in the claim. Now I will have to pay my deductible twice if I do decide to go and fix it. If I knew that they were not including the windshield, I wouldn't have gone with claim and would have fixed everything myself. They will change what you originally agreed on and leave you hanging to scam you and make money of you even more. Will definitely change insurance after this. They also charge way too much, Progressive and Allstate sounds like a way better insurance. Stay away from Liberty Mutual. For their managers that will read this, listen to the recorded phone conversation and the photos I provided and see for yourself how you guys scam people. I would've understand if they began with that and stated the windshield cannot be part of the claim but to lie just so you go through with the claim is a complete scam. 1.1/5 Stars on BBB, I should've known better.Liberty Mutual Group

Liberty Mutual auto insurance has to be one of the most crooked companies I know of. After months of double dipping into my account and not replacing my money, after bringing it to their attention of what they have been doing, took back a check they sent me for an accident claim. Probably after threatening my bank. They sure had no problem taking money from me that they were not entitled to.thanks ole liberty you crooked SOB!!!!Liberty Mutual Group

I had renters insurance with them that was suppose to expire on 28th sept. However, they automatically renewed it and send me bill of late cancellation.This is pathetic and they dont take care of their customers and only running after money/customers pockets.I wish i can give them 0 starsLiberty Mutual Group

when i moved i found much cheaper home and auto coverage so i canceled LM. i later got a letter from the *** with a fine for $50 for a lapse in coverage. i cancelled LM on nov 15th and had new ins by nov 17th. LM without my consent cancelled sooner than i requested. when i called ** said theres nothing they can do but acknowledge that i initially cancelled on nov 15. now im stuck with a fineLiberty Mutual Group
